Abstract: O Direito Constitucional na pós-modernidade apresenta uma nova moldura diante do fen meno do “constitucionalismo dos valores”, proveniente do fim da Seg unda Guerra Mundial, a partir da inser o de princípios básicos e direitos humanos fundamentais nos textos das Constitui es Estatais até ent o de origem e linha liberais. Esse mes mo fen meno trouxe, igualmente, a recep o pelo Direito Constitucional de institutos próprios do direito privado, trazendo a tona a discuss o acerca de uma provável “constitucionaliza o” (ou seja, tornar constitucional) do direito civil, elevando essa disciplina a um nível primeiro e máximo do direito. Contudo, o que efetivamente ocorre, na contemporaneidade, é a aceita o, nos textos das Constitui es, de institutos os quais n o tinham prote o constitucional, seja por seus fundamentos, sejam para fins de objeto de controle de constitucionalidade. Em verdade, n o existe “constitucionaliza o” do direito privado, cuja natureza é de direito concreto, num nível próximo; existe, simplesmente, a garantia constitucional de institutos privados desprotegidos na idéia liberal de Constitui o.

Abstract: the study aimed to identify the opinion of graduating students on the process of training for the single health system sus. the object is the opinion of the nursing graduate students on their training for the sus. quantitative research, conducted with 30 students of the school of nursing - faen, integrative unity of the state university of rio grande do norte uern. it was observed the ethical aspects of resolution 196/96 of the national health council, including the signing of the free and informed consent term by students. data were collected through questionnaires, tabulated in microsoft excel and presented in tables. results indicate some rejection in certain aspects of the proposed curriculum, revealing a good acceptance of students on the efficiency and achievement of the objectives of the political and educational project, on the desired profile of the egress for this teaching project of, as well as its organizational aspects, established in 1996, currently in use.

Abstract: this article proposes a reflection on the transformations that have been taking place in professional training in health, using the health sector and education competencies as a reference in the professionals' ordainment in consonance with the construction of the single health system and of its policies from the family health strategy perspective. the text focuses on the progress made in the formulation of the health human resource policy in brazil with regard to the reorganization of the higher education institutions and opportunities for the reorientation of new pedagogic models to develop health professionals who are knowledgeable of the population's social problems and health, becoming capable of intervening in the sector's reorganization. in this regard, it contributes to the discussions in the health human resource area, offering subsidies to a reflection on professional qualification for the single health system/family health strategy.
The nurse’s academic formation for SUS in the perception of learning and teaching of the faculty of nursing/UERN

Abstract: The model of attention to health in Single Health System (Sistema único de Saúde ─ SUS) presupposes a human-resources policy which prepares professionals of health to guide the services and sanitary practices. The nurse, a member of health staff, takes over an important role in implementation of principles and standards of SUS, being its professional formation necessary to labor organization in this purpose. In this way this study objectifies to analyse the process of formation of the male nurse in the Politic-Pedagogical Project (Projeto Político-Pedagógico ─ PPP) in the perception of learning and teaching of the Faculty of nursing – FAEN of the University of The Rio Grande do Norte State – UERN. It treats about a descriptive-exploratory study with qualitative and quantitative approach carried out with learning and teaching of the graduation nursing course. In the field research carried out between the months of november, 2006 and february, 2007, were used like instruments the documental research below PPP′s, structured interview directed to the learning and the closed questionnaire applied to the students of eighth and ninth semesters of graduation course. The results of data about the questionnaires elaborated according to National Curricular Patters (Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais ─ DCN) and the Instrument of Evaluation Course of Graduation ─ MEC were organized according to six lists about the profile of the learning and teaching that participate of the research; of the didactical-pedagogical organization and PPP′s objectives to the just-graduates person to the didactical-pedagogical curriculum organization. For considering the interviews it was adopted thematic analysis of content discribed in lexical analysis by informatical program ALCESTE which provided the organization of the material in five categories: daily problems of SUS consolidation versus nurse formation, dichotomies about FAEN′s nursing course of curriculum versus principles of integralization of graduating process, the just-graduated one from FAEN and its professional insertion united to SUS politic-pedagogical project and the concern about the overcoming of dichotomies of graduation process abilities and necessary competences to the SUS performing nurse. The analysis of informations deriving from documental performance and field research resulted on the verification that, in spite of good intentions, the implementation strategies showed themselves fragile to cope with the rendering of expressed ideal on PPP. Abstract: Objective: to describe, from documentary research, the history of building political and pedagogical project/PPP/FAEN/UERN, established in 1996, still valid, comparing his proposal with the training of health professionals for the SUS. Methods: this is about an exploratory and descriptive study, from qualitative approach, held at the Nursing College, of the State University of Rio Grande do Norte (UERN), located in Mossoró city. Data were collected from November 2006 to February 2007, from the desk research undertaken on the text of the PPP of the Nursing Course of the FAEN/UERN, established in 1996. For the analysis we used thematic content analysis of Bardin. This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) (protocol number 105/06). Results: it was addressed to the context that involved the construction of the PPP in the undergraduate program in nursing FAEN as well as the theories and methodologies that are based on the operationalization of the training of nurses in the institution. Conclusion: nursing PPP is a carrier of intent to meet the demands of the professional profile one want for the SUS, defending the teaching-service- knowledge production and technical-scientific, political, social, ethical and humanistic student.

Abstract: this study presents reflection regarding changing movements in nursing graduation, emphasizing the professional preparation to attend current conformation of health sector, descrying the consolidation of family health strategy, national health system, and the guarantee of their fundamental principles. the text detaches innovations that have occurred in curricula and teaching political projects, searching the formation of nurses cognizant of social and health issues and capable of intervening on health sector's rearrangement. in this sense, it contributes for the history of nursing graduation teaching, offering subsidies for reflection of nurse's academical formation for family health strategy/national health system.

Abstract: This article reports the experience of teaching French as a Foreign Language for students whose ages range from 15 to 17 years at the Escola de Aplica o of the University of S o Paulo (USP-EA). After the application and analysis of the profile questionnaire to identify the students' Internet use and social spaces and social networks (blog, twitter, facebook for example), we intended to answer the following questions: How to use these spaces for learning? Which skills the learner needs to develop so that he is able to use the Internet and interact aiming at learning? This article discusses the combination of two web resources for learning French: the blog as a collective space of asynchronous interaction among the group of students where they publish activities and make them available to everyone, see what the comments and reactions of colleagues on productions performed are and Twitter Web as open space that encourages students to do research from some indications mentioned by teachers and researchers and to visit the blog to organize and systematize the information collected. The results of this study discuss the relations established between technology and learning (Kenski, 2010), to contribute to the development of language socio-cultural skills in French as well as cross cultural skills related to teaching tasks. Abstract: this is a quantitative, descriptive, retrospective documental study on fatal accidents occurred during the period from 2006 to 2010, in which workers were treated at hospital do trabalhador, located in curitiba/paraná. we selected 25 notifications for the outcome death. this study aimed to characterize victims and fatal occupational accidents. fatal occupational accidents hit workers with a mean age of 35 years (sd = 13.0694), of the male sex, n = 23 (92%). typical occupational accidents accounted for 52% (n = 13) of cases. one of the preventive measures proposed to reduce the number of fatal occupational accidents is the performance of educational and preventive work at the workplace by nurses. moreover, it is necessary to rethink transit violence as a relevant factor for the cause of death of workers as well.
Microalgae Lipid and Biodiesel Production: A Brazilian Challenge  [PDF]

Abstract: Global increases in atmospheric CO2 and climate change are drawing considerable attention to identify sources of energy with lower environmental impact than those currently in use. Biodiesel production from microalgae lipids can, in the future, occupy a prominent place in energy generation because it represents a sustainable alternative to petroleum-based fuels. Several species of microalgae produce large amounts of lipids per biomass unit. Triacylglycerol is the fatty acid used for biodiesel production and the main source of energy reserves in microalgae. The current literature indicates that nutrient limitations can lead to triacylglycerol accumulation in different species of microalgae. Further efforts in microalgae screening for biodiesel production are needed to discover a native microalgae that will be feasible for biodiesel production in terms of biomass productivity and oil. This revision focuses in the biotechnological potential and viability of biodiesel production from microalgae. Brazil is located in a tropical region with high light rates and adequate average temperatures for the growth of microalgae. The wide availability of bodies of water and land will allow the country to produce renewable energy from microalgae.
Prevalência de transtornos psiquiátricos em pacientes em hemodiálise no estado da Bahia

Abstract: introduction: limiting factors of dialysis patients' quality of life are associated with high rates of psychiatric disease. since effective treatment of psychiatric diseases can positively affect dialysis patients' prognosis and survival, there is a need for an early diagnosis. in brazil only few studies have measured the prevalence of these disorders. objective: study the prevalence and pattern of psychiatric disorders in chronic hemodialysis patients and assess the association between these diseases and some variables. methods: two hundred forty-four patients were enrolled in two nephrology units at the state of bahia, brazil. the mini-international neuropsychiatric interview (mini) was used in all patients. results: ninety-one patients (37.3%) presented at least one psychiatric diagnosis. the most common disorders included dysthymia (17.6%), risk of suicide (16.4%), and major depressive episode (8.6%). women had higher risk of mental disorders than men (rc = 2.77; confidence interval [ci] 95%: 1.42-5.41). widowed, divorced and single patients had higher risk than married patients (rc = 5.507; ci 95%: 1.348-22.551). patients on treatment for less than two years had higher risk (rc = 2.075; ci 95%: 1.026-4.197). those with kt/v below 0.9 were at higher risk than those with a higher kt/v (rc = 3.955; ci 95%: 1.069-11.012). conclusions: the prevalence of psychiatric disorders in patients on dialysis was high (37.3%). affective disorders were the most common ones. women and patients with kt/v below 0.9 were at increased risk. the risk was lower in patients at dialysis program for longer than two years and in married patients.
