Abstract: the cananéia-iguape and ilha comprida coastal plain, at the southernmost s?o paulo state extremity, is a privilegiated place with respect to their natural resources that are enough to transform the area in an interesting pole of scientific tourism. presently this region receives only people interested in sun, sand and sea tourism, mainly during the summer holidays and during the rest of the year the region area is visited by ecotourists interested in aspects related to geosciences and / or biosciences that could be developed in the region. people who might be interested in this kind of activity are mainly ecotourist attracted by the study of mangrove ecosystems, archeological sites as shell-middens and eolian dune fields, besides fauna and flora. these visits would be done under the guidance of researchers familiar with the places to be visited.
Distant microglial and astroglial activation secondary to experimental spinal cord lesion
Leme, Ricardo José de Almeida;Chadi, Gerson;
Arquivos de Neuro-Psiquiatria , 2001, DOI: 10.1590/S0004-282X2001000400002
Abstract: this paper analysed whether glial responses following a spinal cord lesion is restricted to a scar formation close to the wound or they might be also related to widespread paracrine trophic events in the entire cord. spinal cord hemitransection was performed in adult rats at the thoracic level. seven days and three months later the spinal cords were removed and submitted to immunohistochemistry of glial fibrillary acidic protein (gfap) and ox42, markers for astrocytes and microglia, as well as of basic fibroblast growth factor (bfgf), an astroglial neurotrophic factor. computer assisted image analysis was employed in the quantification of the immunoreactivity changes. at the lesion site an increased number of gfap positive astrocytes and ox42 positive phagocytic cells characterized a dense scar formation by seven days, which was further augmented after three months. morphometric analysis of the area and microdensitometric analysis of the intensity of the gfap and ox42 immunoreactivities showed reactive astrocytes and microglia in the entire spinal cord white and gray matters 7 days and 3 months after surgery. double immunofluorescence demonstrated increased bfgf immunostaining in reactive astrocytes. the results indicated that glial reaction close to an injury site of the spinal cord is related to wounding and repair events. although gliosis constitutes a barrier to axonal regeneration, glial activation far from the lesion may contribute to neuronal trophism and plasticity in the lesioned spinal cord favoring neuronal maintenance and fiber outgrowth.

Abstract: Os manguezais s o ecossistemas considerados verdadeiros ber ários, devido sua riqueza biológica.

The Cananéia-Iguape and Ilha Comprida coastal plain, at the southernmost S o Paulo state extremity, is a privilegiated place with respect to their natural resources that are enough to transform the area in an interesting pole of scientific tourism. Presently this region receives only people interested in sun, sand and sea tourism, mainly during the summer holidays and during the rest of the year the region area is visited by ecotourists interested in aspects related to geosciences and / or biosciences that could be developed in the region. Creative Education (CE) , 2019, DOI: 10.4236/ce.2019.105067
Abstract: The main objective of this work is to dialogue with the different works of literature in a social perspective of the practices of reading and writing. It seeks to achieve an education oriented to transculturality taking into account the different cultural and social aspects of society. In this sense, conceptions concerning literacy events and practices are highlighted through a contextualization. Then, a description is made from the observation of the environment and its participants, plus interpretations obtained from the data collected. This research is based initially on a bibliographical review, based on the theoretical contribution of the use of the New Letters Studies and follows a qualitative, descriptive, ethnographic methodological approach, through field research, using instruments such as participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and questionnaires for data collection. Finally, in the discussion, we considered the analysis of the results obtained and, in the final considerations, some recommendations about the practice of literacy and education based on multiculturalism are presented.
Riesgo: concepto básico de la epidemiología
Almeida Filho,Naomar de; Castiel,Luis David; Ayres,José Ricardo;
Salud Colectiva , 2009, DOI: 10.1590/S1851-82652009000300003
Abstract: this paper suggests a formalization of the "risk" concept as the object of knowledge of epidemiological science, in order to categorize linguistic, epistemological and methodological aspects of this concept, following upon former contributions of the authors. firstly, the meanings of risk are analyzed from an etymological and semantic viewpoint, evaluating its use for the constitution of common social discourses. secondly, the epidemiological concept of risk is focused in hermeneutical perspective, making explicit epistemological axes and conceptual elements for the construction of the epidemiological discourse. thirdly, theoretical, methodological and political correlations among the object risk, concepts of health and critical theories of society are discussed, aiming at an evaluation of perspectives and challenges for future developments of the scientific field of epidemiology.
Transportes , 2009,
