The Effect of Quality Circles on Nurses Job Satisfaction Working Emergency Medical Service

Abstract: Introduction: Quality circle are considered an important approach to improving behavior, increasing motivation, and reducing stress. The aim of this study was to determining the effect of training and applying quality control circles on the nurses’ level of occupation satisfaction.Material and Methods: This research is a two-group quasi-experimental study that after selection of two EMS stations, by simple randomization method 25 nurses worked in central station of Hamden emergency medical service were chosen as the quality circle group and 16 nurses of central station of Malayer emergency medical service formed the control group. The tools was used in this research was the occupation satisfaction questionnaire that was made on Herzburg Two factor theory. After training and performing of quality circle in trial group the occupation satisfaction test was carried out on both groups to get the change taken place in their level of job satisfactions. Then statistical analysis was performed using SPSS.Results: The analysis of data showed that before and after intervention there was significant differences in scores of health (P<0.001) and motivation factors (P<0.001) and also in global scores of occupation satisfaction in quality circle group (P<0.001), but there was no significant differences before and after intervention in scores of health (P=0.069) and motivation factors (P=0.094) and also in global scores of occupation satisfaction in control group (P=0.495). After intervention, the analysis of data showed significant differences in scores motivation factors (P=0.001) and global scores of occupation satisfaction (P=0.003) whereas there was no significant differences in scores of health factors between two groups (P=0.089).Conclusion: This study confirmed the effectiveness of training and applying quality circle in improving EMS nurses job satisfaction and offered as management method for use by EMS managers.
The Comparison of Religious Orientation, Psychological Well-Being and Forgiveness in Teachers and Clergymen  [PDF]

Abstract: The present study tries to compare religious orientation, psychological well-being and forgiveness in teachers and clergymen. The statistical population includes all teachers of district 2, Qazvin Education Organization and all clergymen in Qazvin Seminary (Hawzeh Elmeyyeh) in the academic year 2013-2014. Among them, 260 individuals (150 teachers and 150 clergymen) were selected by random sampling and completed the psychological well-being questionnaire, forgiveness questionnaire and religious orientation questionnaire. The results show that there is no significant difference between two groups in the psychological well-being, but there are significant differences in forgiveness and religious orientation so that in the forgiveness variable, the clergymen have higher mean than teachers and in religious orientation variable, teachers have higher mean than clergymen. Also, there are significant differences between forgiveness and psychological well-being, forgiveness and religious orientation, and psychological well-being and religious orientation in the two groups so that the rate of these relationships in teachers is significantly higher than that of clergymen. The job status (teacher or clergy) has the role of mediator. Evaluation and recognition of psychological health and well-being and the relationship of these psychological structures with forgiveness and religious orientation can present worthwhile recommendations in the field of providing psychological health for individuals of the society that requires more consideration in the field of clinical researches.
Structural and Spin Polarization Effects of Cr, Fe and Ti Elements on Electronical Properties of α –Al2O3 by First Principle Calculations  [PDF]

Abstract: Structural and spin polarization effects of Cr, Fe and Ti elements on electronical properties of alumina have been studied by using of Local spin density approximation within density functional theory. The calculated results indicated that substituting aluminium atoms by these dopants have a significant influence on the structural and electronic properties of α –Al2O3 crystals. Band gap of alumina decreases with the substitution of these impurities. Results show that band gap is different for spin-up and down (spin splitting effect). Among these impurities the effect of Ti on size of the energy gap is small in comparison with Cr and Fe. It is suggested that the origin of electrons spin splitting is appeared from exchange energy of d-states. These results may be useful to obtain a physical beheviour of transition metals for electrons spin polarization in d-states.

Abstract: Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have many potential applications [1,2] and unique challenges. They usually consist of hundreds or thousands of small sensor nodes such as MICA2, which operate autonomously; conditions such as cost, invisible deployment and many application domains, lead to small size and resource limited sensors [3]. WSNs are susceptible to many types of link layer attacks [1] and most of traditional network security techniques are unusable on WSNs [3]; This is due to wireless and shared nature of communication channel, untrusted transmissions, deployment in open environments, unattended nature and limited resources [1]. Therefore security is a vital requirement for these networks; but we have to design a proper security mechanism that attends to WSN’s constraints and requirements. In this paper, we focus on security of WSNs, divide it (the WSNs security) into four categories and will consider them, include: an overview of WSNs, security in WSNs, the threat model on WSNs, a wide variety of WSNs’ link layer attacks and a comparison of them. This work enables us to identify the purpose and capabilities of the attackers; furthermore, the goal and effects of the link layer attacks on WSNs are introduced. Also, this paper discusses known approaches of security detection and defensive mechanisms against the link layer attacks; this would enable IT security managers to manage the link layer attacks of WSNs more effectively.

Abstract:

In this investigation a simple method developed by introducing spin to Schrodinger equation to study the relativistic hydrogen atom. By separating Schrodinger equation to radial and angular parts, we modify these parts to the associated Laguerre and Jacobi differential equations, respectively. Bound state Energy levels and wave functions of relativistic Schrodinger equation for Hydrogen atom have been obtained. Calculated results well matched to the results of Dirac’s relativistic theory. Finally the factorization method and supersymmetry approaches in quantum mechanics, give us some first order raising and lowering operators, which help us to obtain all quantum states and energy levels for different values of the quantum numbers n and m.

An Empirical Investigation of the Level of User's Acceptance of E-Banking among Some Customers of Banks in Iran

Abstract: With the high speed of advances in different aspects of technology, the use of electronic banking as a creative solution for various daily banking affairs has been disseminated around the world, simultaneously. Iran has not been the exception of this stream and the number of e-banking contracts seems to get increased in recent years. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the level of user's acceptance of electronic banking among some customers of banks in Iran. Extended TAM model was conducted as a conceptual framework in this paper. The survey instrument was employed to collect data. 188 questionnaires were analyzed based on correlation and regression analyses and independent sample t-test using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). Result has showed that customers have found e-banking system enjoyable, convenient, and easy to use; however, there is low level of reliability in the security measure of e-banking technology.
Relationship of Workaholism with Stress and Job Burnout of Elementary School Teachers  [PDF]

Abstract: Teachers voluntarily devote a lot of time to their vocational activates. This can lead to workaholism and may result in stress and job burnout. The main objective of the current study is to examine the relationship of workaholism with stress and job burnout of elementary school teachers in Zahedan. This is a descriptive-correlational study. The sample includes 350 elementary school teachers in Zahedan whom are selected through applying stratified random sampling method and are examined using questionnaires on workaholism, occupational stress, and job burnout. To analyze the obtained data, correlation coefficient and simultaneous multiple regression analysis are applied using SPSS21. Teachers’ mean scores on workaholism, stress and job burnout are higher than the considered theoretical mean. Workaholism and its components (feeling of being driven to work, work involvement, and work enjoyment) are significantly and positively related to job burnout and occupational stress (p < 0.01). The results of simultaneous multiple regression analysis indicate that components of workaholism can predict teachers’ occupational stress and job burnout (p < 0.05). Considering the results, holding training courses for teachers to become familiar with the phenomena of workaholism, stress, and job burnout, individual and organizational outcomes, methods of dealing with them and managing them effectively is highly recommended.

Abstract: Wavelets constitute a family of functions that constructed from dilation and translation of a single function. They are suitable tools for solving variational problems. In this study, we want to extremum the Hamiltonian of hydrogen atom using Legendre wavelets. Legendre wavelets are defined on the domain [0,1]. For solving this problem, we represent a generalized Legendre functions and generalized Legendre wavelets on the [-s, s] and [0, s], respectively. We start from the radial equations of hydrogen atom like and represent the wave function in term of generalized Legendre function and then convert the redial equation of hydrogen atom like to a polynomial in term of coefficients of wave function. The eigenstate will be minimize provided that, the derivative of it respect to the all of coefficients of wave function to be equal zero. The last equation is a algebraic equation and the solutions are the energy states of hydrogen atom like.
Symmetric Extended Wavelets and One Dimension Schrodinger Equation

Abstract: In this research, we present a numerical solution for schrodinger equation. This method is based on generalized Legendre wavelets and generalized operational matrices. Generalized Legendre wavelets are a complete orthogonal set on the interval [-s, s] (s is a real large positive number.) The mother function of generalized Legendre wavelets are generalized legendre functions. Generalized Legendre functions are an orthogonal set on the interval [-s, s]. The schrodinger equation is equal to a variational problem and we convert the variational problem to a non linear algebraic equations. From the solving of algebraic equation to get the eigen-states of schrodinger equation. We applied this method to one dimension nonlinear oscillator (V(x) = 1/2kxn, - < x < ) and to get the eigen-states of oscillator for various n. For n = 2, the oscillator is linear and there is an exact solution for its. The results for n = 2 demonstrate the validity of this solution.
