Perceived Organizational Support, Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance: An Chinese Empirical Study  [PDF]
Rentao Miao, Heung-Gil Kim
Journal of Service Science and Management (JSSM) , 2010, DOI: 10.4236/jssm.2010.32032
Abstract: The study investigated the generalizability of perceived organizational support and job satisfaction as positive correlations of employee performance in China. In a study conducted, 130 matched cases of 130 employees and their 34 immediate supervisors from two large-scale state-owned enterprises (SOE) were selected as participants. Well-established psychological scales measuring perceived organizational support (POS), job satisfaction, and four facets of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) were administered. Data analyzed using zero-order correlation and hierarchical regression analysis showed positive correlations of POS and job satisfaction with work performance, and also showed independent and joint positive associations of POS and job satisfaction with OCB and each of its four dimensions.
Application of Hierarchical Model in Non-Life Insurance Actuarial Science  [PDF]
Guiming Miao
Modern Economy (ME) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/me.2018.93025
Abstract: Loss data structures in non-life insurance businesses are increasingly complex, and the tendency of correlation and heterogeneity is gradually presented. Hierarchical model can breakthrough limitation that the traditional rate determination method only analyzes the loss data of the same insurance policy; meanwhile, the accuracy of complex structure data prediction is improved. This paper, using a hierarchical generalized linear model, studies the non-life rate determination of multi-year loss data and takes auto insurance data for empirical analysis. The research results show that GLMM’s fitting degree is greatly improved compared with GLM, considering the random effects. It can more effectively reflect different risk individual differences and also reveal the heterogeneity and correlation of risk individual loss during multiple insurance periods.
Study on Regional Efficiency and Productivity of Guangdong Province
—Based on Hicks-Moorsteen TFP Index

Jia Miao
Modern Economy (ME) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/me.2018.912134
Abstract: In this paper, Hicks-Moorsteen TFP index is employed to investigate regional efficiency and productivity of 21 cities in Guangdong province during 2000-2015. The findings demonstrate that the efficiency of the whole province first rises and then falls, and has rebounded in recent years. Technical efficiency and scope efficiency have increased, while regional scale efficiency has declined. The Pearl River Delta region has obvious competitive advantages, and scope efficiency alleviates the decline in the efficiency of the non PRD. Secondly, the results indicate that Shenzhen has strong regional development competitiveness, and the economic development efficiency which leads Guangdong province. Thirdly, although the total factor productivity of 21 cities in Guangdong province has increase 0.38 percent with an average level of 1.0165 during this period with a comparatively large fluctuation, the slow growth of technological progress hindered the progress of TFP to some extent. In addition, the TFP level in the PRD region has some advantages over the non PRD region. Finally, as the most efficient city, Shenzhen’s TFP level is in the middle and upper reaches and has great potential.
Literature Review of the Research on Real Estate Financial Risk  [PDF]
Yemin Miao
Open Journal of Business and Management (OJBM) , 2019, DOI: 10.4236/ojbm.2019.72060
Abstract: After a brief conceptual explanation and background introduction of real estate finance and its risks, this paper mainly focuses on the relationship between real estate price fluctuation and financial risk, real estate bubble, the formation and transmission of real estate financial risk, and the control of real estate financial risk. Several research categories were classified and related research was reviewed. In the end, it summarizes and puts forward that China’s research on real estate financial risk also has the following problems and development direction: the research on the connotation of real estate financial risk needs to be improved; the research on real estate bubble needs to be quantified; the research on risk formation needs to be deepened from the mechanism; the research on risk transmission needs to be combined with the reality of China; and the empirical research on real estate financial risk needs to be improved.
An Induced Hypersensitive-Like Response Limits Expression of Foreign Peptides via a Recombinant TMV-Based Vector in a Susceptible Tobacco
Mangmang Li,Ping Li,Rentao Song,Zhengkai Xu
PLOS ONE , 2012, DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0015087
Abstract: By using tobacco mosaic virus (TMV)-based vectors, foreign epitopes of the VP1 protein from food-and-month disease virus (FMDV) could be fused near to the C-terminus of the TMV coat protein (CP) and expressed at high levels in susceptible tobacco plants. Previously, we have shown that the recombinant TMV vaccines displaying FMDV VP1 epitopes could generate protection in guinea pigs and swine against the FMDV challenge. Recently, some recombinant TMV, such as TMVFN20 that contains an epitope FN20 from the FMDV VP1, were found to induce local necrotic lesions (LNL) on the inoculated leaves of a susceptible tobacco, Nicotiana tabacum Samsun nn. This hypersensitive-like response (HLR) blocked amplification of recombinant TMVFN20 in tobacco and limited the utility of recombinant TMV vaccines against FMDV.

Abstract: In the title complex, [Cd(C2F3O2)(NO3)(C10H8N2)2], the Cd(II) ion is heptacoordinated by two chelating 2,2′-bipyridyl ligands [Cd...N 2.370 (6)–2.416 (6) ], one carboxylate O atom [Cd...O 2.290 (6) ] from the trifluoroacetate ligand and two O atoms [Cd...O 2.386 (6), 2.633 (6) ] from a chelating nitrate anion. The trifluoromethyl fragment is rotationally disordered between two orientations in a 0.640 (7):0.360 (7) ratio. In the crystal, weak intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds contribute to the crystal packing stability.

Abstract: In the title molecule, C11H18N4S, an intramolecular N—H...N hydrogen bond [N...N = 2.558 (3) ] is observed. The two cyclopentyl rings are disordered between two conformations in 1:1 and 2:1 ratios. In the crystal structure, weak intermolecular N—H...S hydrogen bonds [N...S = 3.547 (3) ] link pairs of molecules into centrosymmetric dimers.

Abstract: The title compound, [Mn(C5H2N2O4)(C12H8N2)(H2O)2], was synthesized by the reaction of manganese(II) acetate and orotic acid in the presence of 1,10-phenanthroline. The crystal structure exhibits intermolecular N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds . The Mn coordination environment consists of an N3O3 donor set in an octahedral geometry.

Abstract: The title compound [systematic name: 12-amino-42-(1-naphthyl)-1,4(1,4)-dibenzenacyclohexaphane], C26H23N, was synthesized from 4-amino-13-bromo-[2,2]paracyclophane and 1-naphthaleneboronic acid in the presence of 1,4-dioxane. It is a new cyclophane-derived compound which can be regarded as a prospective ligand for asymmetric synthesis and catalysis. The benzene rings of the paracyclophane units are very slightly deformed from planarity as shallow boats.
[2,6-Dioxo-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyrimidine-4-carboxylato(2 )]bis(pyrazino[2,3-f][1,10]phenanthroline)cobalt(II) dihydrate
Rentao Wu,Jikun Li,Zebao Zheng,Wenzeng Duan
Acta Crystallographica Section E , 2008, DOI: 10.1107/s1600536807064495
Abstract: The title complex, [Co(C5H2N2O4)(C14H8N4)2]·2H2O, features a slightly distorted octahedral geometry for Co due to the sterical requirements of the orotic acid and pyrazino[2,3-f][1,10]phenanthroline ligands. Intermolecular hydrogen bonding between the uncoordinated water molecules and the ligand stablizes the structure of the complex.
