A busca da coerência: reflex?es sobre a produ??o do GT Educa??o Popular
Garcia, Regina Leite;
Revista Brasileira de Educa??o , 2001, DOI: 10.1590/S1413-24782001000300006
Abstract: this texts sets out to problematise recurrent questions in the production of the working group on popular education: amorosity, 'autopoiesis', process of auto-eco-organisation; new organisation based on chaos - time/clock and time/collective interest; in defence of slow men; a sociology of slow history - the relation practice/theory/practice; the epistemological reflection on who, how and where knowledge is produced; the second epistemological rupture which brings science and common sense closer together again; the auto-reflexive dimension of the epistemological question - the arrival of outsiders in research in popular education - the doubt which leads to the discovery of the new - the crisis of understanding is ours - those who do not see because they do not understand; the acceptance of the other as a condition for self-acceptance; understanding understanding - rewriting history from the point of view of the subordinate; narratives lost in official history; oral discourse; the hegemony of a logic which silences the logics of daily life; popular religiosity - shared responsibility; solidarity of concerns. and the challenge which remains is if the working group on popular education repudiates the ranking of knowledge as a means of exercising power, if it recognises plural forms of culture giving rise to visions of the world which contain different logics, how do the group members begin to construct a curriculum in their pedagogical actions, either inside or outside the school, or rather, how do their political-pedagogical practices change?

A necessidade da orienta o coletiva nos estudos sobre cotidiano duas experiências
Nilda Alves,Regina Garcia Leite
Revista Portuguesa de Educa??o , 2001,
Abstract: The several years we have been publishing together gave us the opportunity to discuss our work in the different research groups we co-ordinate. Despite of our different professional concerns, we both stand for a theoretical and methodological perspective which allows us to characterise the way we envision the process of scientific production in order to better understand the school daily life as a space/time of all the research we develop. In this text, some of our experiences will be the framework for the discussion of the way we understand the need for a collective orientation in the studies about daily life.
ELABORA O DE SALSICHAS UTILIZANDO GOMA GUAR E GOMA XANTANA EM SUBSTITUI O AO AMIDO DE MANDIOCA (MANIHOT ESCULENTA)

Alimentos e Nutri??o , 2009,

Abstract: the use of educational technology, as a facilitating resource for pediatric and neonatal nursing teaching and practice, is pointed out. technological resources in educational materials have been used in a progressively motivating and interactive pedagogical relationship, aiming to offer a more motivating learning for students, nursing teams, children and their families. this report describes the experience of a research and study group in the development of materials targeting permanent training and education in the area of pediatric and neonatal nursing. health education for children and their relatives on different themes that permeates this care was also targeted. the developed educational materials permit students, health professionals and clients to experience the teaching and learning process in a stimulating way, facilitating the clarification of doubts and transforming learning through attractive, innovative and illustrative situations.

Abstract: objective: the present study has as objective to analyze the production of knowledge about the thematic "quality in the health services". methods: they were going analyzed the published jobs abstract center on latin american and caribbean center on health sciences information - bireme, quoting the years of 1988 to 2006, research accomplished in the months of may, june and july 2006. results: from the period of 1988-2006 were found 43 references in the research quality and health services. in the search in the database of literature latin american and caribbean health sciences - lilacs, were found 110 references using again the words quality health services, quality and nursing and hospital accreditation from 1980 to 2006, these 98 were selected for further analysis. conclusions: despite the limitations, we believe that this work will stimulate the discussion on the production and scientific dissemination of nursing in this area.

Abstract: this study reports on a literature review about child postoperative pain management by nursing professionals, in the period from 1993 to 2005. three themes were identified: factors influencing nurses' management of child pain, interventions to relieve child pain, and nurses' assessment and response to children's pain experience. child pain management is a complex act that involves elements of the dimensions related to the children themselves, health professionals and family members. the lack of studies in this area reveals the need for research, with a view to (re)considering pediatric nursing care.

Revista do Instituto de Medicina Tropical de S?o Paulo , 2009, DOI: 10.1590/S0036-46652009000100007
Abstract: the microbiological monitoring of the water used for hemodialysis is extremely important, especially because of the debilitated immune system of patients suffering from chronic renal insufficiency. to investigate the occurrence and species diversity of bacteria in waters, water samples were collected monthly from a hemodialysis center in upstate s?o paulo and tap water samples at the terminal sites of the distribution system was sampled repeatedly (22 times) at each of five points in the distribution system; a further 36 samples were taken from cannulae in 19 hemodialysis machines that were ready for the next patient, four samples from the reuse system and 13 from the water storage system. to identify bacteria, samples were filtered through 0.22 μm-pore membranes; for mycobacteria, 0.45 μm pores were used. conventional microbiological and molecular methods were used in the analysis. bacteria were isolated from the distribution system (128 isolates), kidney machine water (43) and reuse system (3). among these isolates, 32 were gram-positive rods, 120 gram-negative rods, 20 gram-positive cocci and 11 mycobacteria. we propose the continual monitoring of the water supplies in hemodialysis centers and the adoption of effective prophylactic measures that minimize the exposure of these immunodeficient patients to contaminated sources of water.
