Rebeca Maldonado Rodriguera
Revista Observaciones Filosóficas , 2011,
Abstract: The following essay has as fundamental sense to advise the transformations whose take place when the subjectivity to forme oneself from the nothing transforming to oneself then in one “between”. In a place where would occurs the struggle world and earth (Heidegger) or as in the case Shizuteru Ueda, in a “berween” where forms one self as “nature” and “you” at the same time. The text from which I am thinking is Heidegger`s Nietzsche. Thinking to the representational subjectivity, its disruption and its possibilities as a posthumanist way of being is the attempt of this essay.
Rebeca Maldonado Rodriguera
Revista Observaciones Filosóficas , 2008,
Abstract: This article shows, through the analysis of "The Secret Life of Words", a film by Isabel Coixet, interdependence and mutual influence between being and language, that is how the language changes lead to changes being and specifically that there is a way of being in the world. Thus the evolution of language has its correlative ontological, that is, there is a way to be language in which those who talk are in the absolute state of open disclosure of which is heideggeriano the meaning of truth.
""Zaratustra spoke this way: A subversión of the temporality" In The gay science, Nietzsche had already perceived the hole on which settles the human existence with the death of God. In Zaratustra spoke this way he discovers that the sense native of the existence is not the pain neither the suffering but the pleasure and the laugh. This way, Zaratustra opens the man's abyss, its place without God, to discover in the joy the synthesis possibility between the will and the "it was ". The time is not more understood as three-dimensional but like something extrinsic to the individual, because only from an affirmative will the eternity of the things is wanted and in that moment, it liberates them to him of (he expiration and of the death.
Abstract: The article reflects on the opposition between utility and beauty within the Romantic works, which permeates Heideggerian thought about technique. My proposal tries to establish a compromise between utility and beauty by way of the concept of non-utilization. Non-utilization is the transition from utility to beauty, which reduces to zero the opposition between utility and beauty. The aesthetical experience is an antiutilitarian movement and this does not happen only in nature or art, but also with objects. According to the author, the aesthetic experience of objects is one way of describing the ontological difference between being and entity. And only because of this, the aesthetic experience of the world is in fact one and the same ontological experience within the realm of thought, a realm which goes beyond art and also beyond technique.

Abstract: It is accepted that the Umbilical Cord Blood (UCB) units can be cryopreserved to 48 h after their harvest and the delay in this procedure influences the final quality. The aim of this study was to determine the influence on time to cryopreservation in Umbilical Cord Blood Units. A selection of the 2134 samples arrived to the UCB Bank from 36 Andalusian linked hospitals was analyzed for a period of six months. The date and hour of collection, hospital of origin, time in the hospital, time of transport, time of arrival to the bank to cryopreservation, viability and CD34+ cells were determined. Our results showed that the median time from harvest to cryopreservation was 27.9 h. However, a great variability was found (range: 5.3 to 47.6 h), which was dependent on transport variables: time from collection to leave the hospital (median 12.6 h, range: 0.1 - 28.8), time of transport from hospital to UCB Bank (median 1.8 h, range: 0.1 - 20.6) and time kept in the bank before freezing. Viability of cells were reduced directly proportional in samples that took longer to be cryopreserved (93.9 vs 96.6%, p = 0.001), by contrast, CD34+ count did not differ significant at shorter or longer times of cryopreservation. In conclusion, the delay in transport time and in processing reduce the umbilical cord units quality, consequently, the time of transport and storage previous to cryopreservation must be reduced less than 36 h.

Abstract: obesity in mexico is alarmingly increasing in prevalence in adults and children, and it is a risk factor for the development of insulin resistance, as well as, of other metabolic alterations. the discovery of the expression of the toll-like receptors (tlrs) in adipocytes, suggests an important role in innate immunity. in different models of obesity, there has been observed an increase of tlrs expression in the fat tissue, therefore tlrs could be involved in systemic inflammation in this disease, and in the development of insulin resistance. tlr activation is mediated by fatty acids and their expression is regulated by leptin, adiponectin and ppars. knowledge of the role of tlrs in inflammation and adipocyte differentiation and their regulation, then it is important to try to develop new therapeutic anti-inflammatory targets that contribute in the treatment of obesity.
Sustainable and Economic Alternative for the Electric Supply of Isolated Communities in the Brazilian Off-Grid Systems  [PDF]

Journal of Power and Energy Engineering (JPEE) , 2017, DOI: 10.4236/jpee.2017.59012
Abstract: Roughly 99% of the demand for electricity in Brazil is supplied by a national interconnected grid. The remaining 1% is spread in several “isolated systems” of the Amazon region—mini-grids that rely on expensive diesel gensets due to high commodity and transportation costs. The isolated systems also have remote communities disconnected altogether from the mini-grids with inadequate health, education and leisure services. These communities are precariously supplied by small inefficient diesel gensets that run for a few hours per day. In this article, we propose a sustainable and economic alternative for the electric supply of the remote communities of isolated systems through a combination of photovoltaic solar generation and storage. The objective is to improve access to electricity with savings for the communities. The present paper outlines a public policy to meet this objective.
Staphylococcus epidermidis: A differential trait of the fecal microbiota of breast-fed infants

BMC Microbiology , 2008, DOI: 10.1186/1471-2180-8-143
Abstract: The feeding practice had a significant effect on bacterial counts. A total of 1,210 isolates (489 from milk, 531 from breast-fed and 190 from formula-fed infants) were identified. Staphylococcus epidermidis was the predominant species in milk and feces of breast-fed infants while it was less prevalent in those of formula fed-infants. Enterococcus faecalis was the second predominant bacterial species among the fecal samples provided by the breast-fed infants but it was also present in all the samples from the formula-fed ones. The biofilm-related icaD gene and the mecA gene were only detected in a low number of the S. epidermidis strains. Several enterococcal isolates were also characterized and none of them contained the cylA or the vanABDEG antibiotic-resistance genes. All were sensitive to vancomycin. The presence of S. epidermidis is a differential trait of the fecal microbiota of breast-fed infants. Globally, the staphyloccal isolates obtained from milk and feces of breast-fed infants contain a low number of virulence determinants and are sensitive to most of the antibiotics tested.Although the composition of the human intestinal microbiota is a major factor in the health status of both adults and infants, the process of initial colonization of the neonatal gut and the origin of the first colonizers are aspects that remain unclear.Although the colonization pattern seems to be host-specific, this is generally accepted that, initially, the infant gut would contain facultative anaerobes which would create a reduced environment favourable to the establishment of obligate anaerobes, such as Bacteroides, Clostridium and Bifidobacterium species [1].Traditionally, it has been widely accepted that the development of the gut microbiota starts at birth and is greatly influenced by the type of feeding [1-4]. The bacterial spectrum of breast-fed infants feces is narrower than that of formula-fed ones although, in the formers, the counts of fecal bifidobacteria and lactic acid

Abstract: population dinamic of haematobia irritans on cattle in the mexican tropic. abstract the population fluctuation of haematobia irritans was evaluated in this study from february 2004 to february 2005 at martínez de la torre, veracruz, méxico. distribution of horn fly throughout a year was monitored in 15 heifers f1 (holstein x brahman) of 11±2 months of age and 170±19 kg of weight. in addition, horn fly population was correlated with five weather variables and evaluated by weekly counts with direct observation on grazing cattle. h. irritans was present year round (35.1±35.2 flies/cattle); however, higher infestations of this pest were registered during the months of september and october. population peak of h. irritans was of 121 flies/cattle. the grade of infestation was mainly associated with accumulated rainfall (r = 0.70, p<0.05); nevertheless, other factors as temperature and relative humidity were also important to determine the incidence and severity of the attack of this ecto-parasite. it may be concluded that in this region, h. irritans control must be carried out at the end of the rainy season and at the beginning of windy winter season.
