European Researcher , 2013,
Abstract: The goal of this paper is the tourist evaluation of the “Summer3p” festival in order to show the current state of the festival, level of development, as well as its cultural values and promotional activities. The possible directions for the further development of the festival, as well as proposals for more successful promotional activities are also pointed out in this work. One of the aims is also to emphasize the importance and significance of the festival in the development of the cultural awareness among the visitors and for the enhancement of the Lake Palic tourism offer
The use of Geothermal Energy Resources in the Tourism Industry of Vojvodina (Northern Serbia)
Nemanja Tomi?,Rastislav Stojsavljevi,Igor Stamenkovi?,Dejan Beri?
European Researcher , 2013,
Abstract: Exploitation of geothermal energy in Vojvodina is still at an unjustly low level taking into account the abundance of resource locations, some of which are ranked among the most affluent in Europe. Moreover, development of geothermal exploitation started in Serbia at about the same time as in other countries whose geothermal energy facilities are now at the highest technological level and which are leaders in this field. The largest use of geothermal energy in Vojvodina is present in the non-energetic area, especially in spas and sports–recreational centers. Other, seasonal consumers of geothermal energy are from the field of industry and agricultural production where the energy is used for heating of cattle and poultry farms, greenhouses and other facilities. However these consumers use only a small portion of available geothermal resources. The main users are those from the tourism industry. The goal of this paper is to give an overview and an analysis of the use of geothermal energy resources, mainly geothermal waters, in the tourism industry of Vojvodina. It shows how these resources are used and also for what are they used by the tourism industry. The paper covers only geothermal resources that are currently being used by the tourism industry. The potential for future usage in this area is also briefly discussed
Etnographic Characteristics of Serbian Orthodox Peasants at the Beginning of the 20th Century from Vrlica Region, North Dalmatia, Croatia

European Researcher , 2013,
Abstract: There is a very small number of Serbs in Dalmatia today. The wars which took place in this area influenced their emigration, mostly to Serbia. They brought along their customs and culture which are slowly being forgotten by their descendants under the influence of modern values. This paper should provide the reader with a glimpse of the most significant ethnological characteristics of Orthodox peasants from the area of Vrlika in North Dalmatia at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century which were passed on to their descendants. The greatest value of this paper lies in the fact that the major source of literature is oral tradition passed on by people born in the rough Dalmatian region
Sequence stratigraphic dictionary
Rastislav Synak
Acta Geologica Slovaca , 2010,
Abstract: Sequence stratigraphy represents the study of cyclic sedimentary patterns within the stratigraphic succession, as they form in response to various factors, such as fluctuations in sea level (fall or rise), tectonics, and variations in sediment supply or space available for sediment to accumulate. Depositional sequence is the fundamental stratal unit of sequence stratigraphy, bounded by subaerial unconformities. It represents the final depositional unit of one full cycle of sea level changes and it consists of subdivisions called systems tracts, which are defined on the basis of internal stratal stacking patterns, position within the sequence and types of bounding surfaces.
Modelling of sedimentary architecture using the SedPak software – a case study of the Upper Badenian sediments (Vienna Basin)
Rastislav Synak
Acta Geologica Slovaca , 2009,
Abstract: SedPak software provides a conceptual framework for modeling the sedimentary fill of basins by visualizing stratal geometries as they are produced between sequence boundaries. It is designed to model and reconstruct clastic and carbonate sediment geometries which are produced as a response to changing rates of tectonic movements, eustasy, and sedimentation. The simulation enables the evolution of the sedimentary fill of a basin to be tracked, defines the chronostratigraphic framework for the deposition of these sediments, and illustrates the relationship between sequences and systems. The possibilities of use the SedPak software to simulate infilling of a sedimentary basin and to demonstrate the basics principles of sequence stratigraphy are shown on the example of Upper Badenian deposits in the Vienna Basin.
Automatizations processes influence on organizations structure
Vace? Rastislav
Acta Montanistica Slovaca , 2003,
Abstract: Has been influenced organization structure on processes? If yes, what is the rate? Is approach toward organization structures bordered by aspect of hierarchy? On these and same questions replay that contribution which in detail sight describe uncertainty managing of process in dependence on the type of organization structure.
Analysis of material flow of MECOM, a. s. Humenné, with reference to time, quality and quantity of processed raw material
Vace? Rastislav
Acta Montanistica Slovaca , 2001,
Abstract: If we want that our companies meet criteria of future develepment trends of world economy, we must radically change, we can say, leave old principles of operating and management and acquire absolutely new models. Models BPR (Business Process Reengineering), that is a part of ITQM (Integrated Total Quality Management),in these tendencies are appearing to be very positive. So as to put these changes into practice, we need fully to know structure of organisation and internal progresses in organisation and management in context with external enviroment.Preparation for realization of reengineering processes requires detailed analysis of micrologistics of material flow in food processing company MECOM, a. s., Humenné too. This analysis in primary stage follows movement of basic raw material through particular departmetns of purchase, production and distribution, where it specificaly deals with these processes in looking at time, quality and quantity, based on a need to keep priority order.Logistic coordination and synchronisation of material flow, information flow and flow of finances, have an impact on company and can resolve conflict of partial targets of individual divisions which are very varied and often opposite.Entire synchronisation of these single aims isn′t possible, partial accommodation is achieveable only. The task of logistics in this company is to amend opposite partial aims, in priority order to achieve the one mutual target for all departments of company. This target presents total satisfaction of wants of consumers, achieveable by common fulfilment of performance and economical destination.
The Parametric Model for PLC Reference Chanells and its Verification in Real PLC Environment
Rastislav Roka
Advances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering , 2008,
Abstract: For the expansion of PLC systems, it is necesssary to have a detailed knowledge of the PLC transmission channel properties. This contribution shortly discusses characteristics of the PLC environment and a classification of PLC transmission channels. A main part is focused on the parametric model for PLC reference channels and its verification in the real PLC environment utilizing experimental measurements.
Analysis of Labour Market Indicators in Slovakia
Kotuli? Rastislav
Journal of Competitiveness , 2011,
Abstract: One of the prerequisites for the creation of employment opportunities is the overall conditions of a country’s economy. However, this prerequisite is not the only requirement that guarantees an increase in employment. The factors that influence the rate of employment are connected with the entrepreneurial environment of a country. The entrepreneurial environment is one of the basic factors that contribute to the creation of work opportunities in a market economy. This paper points to the fact that, future growth of the employment rate will be connected to the quality of the workforce as well as the renewed economic-political concept with a priority on the knowledge economy based on learning competences.
The Role of National Identity in Integration Processes
Rastislav Kazanskэ
European Researcher , 2012,
Abstract: At the time of close cooperation between the V4 countries, new ideas for cooperation not only in political, economic and cultural areas, but also in the areas aimed at maintenance and improvement the situation in some counties of Central Europe are emerging. Thus, when the conflict and coexistence situations are mentioned, they can be regarded as an institutional mechanism, an example and a possible inspiration both to Central Europe and Eastern block countries. In the article the Author tries to ruin the ideas of formation the separate nations (not in current relations only), prospects for further cooperation and maintenance of cultural and political diversity in Europe
