Magazine of Civil Engineering , 2013, DOI: 10.5862/mce.40.5
Abstract: Nowadays there is steady rising demand for thin-walled light-weight steel structures. But the shortage of relevant standards on their design and use taking into account Russian conditions leads to the current situation when thin-walled light-weight steel structures are used according to the recommended guidelines of thin-walled structures’ producers. The author performed numerical and experimental investigations on general stability and bearing capacity of members of different length which are made of C-shaped profile and C-shaped perforated profile. The main aim of the investigations was to receive a reliable engineering methodology of their calculation. The author developed the testing methodology and designed two test beds С-12 (1200mm/20t) and В-50 (2200mm/50t) to perform the experimental investigation. Numerical solution for stability of thin-walled member made of C-shaped profile was received during the numerical simulation done in PLM Femap 10.1 Nastran. Subsequently the processing of research results will be continued in order to get the corresponding dependences for development of method for calculating thin-walled members under compression.

Abstract: Muscle tissue to examine was taken from 31 Black-and-White bull-calves of West Siberia, aged 18 months. The concentration of 11 trace elements in the samples of the muscle tissue was determined with the method of atomic emission spectrometry with inductively associated plasma. The concentration of heavy metals (mg/kg) in the muscle tissue was equal to: Pb – 0.070; Cd – 0.015; As – 0.305; Sr – 0.255; Rb – 1.458; Cu – 1.571; Fe – 50.884; Zn – 52.99; Hg – 0.007; Ni – 0.069. Different correlations were revealed between the concentration of Cd in muscles and the level of Cu and Cr in hair (r = 0.349 and r = 0.374, respectively); Cu in muscles and Cd in hair (r = 0.377), Zn in muscles and Zn, Cd in hair (r = 0.558 and r = 0.470, respectively); Pb in muscles and Si in hair (r = 0.415); Hg in muscles and Cu, Cd in hair (r = 0.449 and r = 0.386). Correlations were revealed between the level of Cd in muscles and the concentration of Ba, Zn and P in blood serum (r = 0.574, r = 0.469 and r = 0.493 respectively); between Pb in muscles and Fe in serum blood (r = 0.535).
Pigmental form of the lichen planus: clinical-morphological parallels

Морфолог?я , 2008,
Abstract: In article are described results of own supervision over patients pigmental by the form lichen ruber planus (LP) which is the atypical form of defeat of a skin and mucous membranes. Modern methods of research have allowed the author to approach from new positions to studying pigmental LP and to define a role tissue changes in pathogenesis of dermatosis. By the author it is studied clinical, pathomorphology and immunohistochemical features pigmental forms LP. Under supervision was 10 patients with pigmental form LP. The analysis of results of the lead morphological researches the amazed skin has revealed infringement of processes keratinisation, dystrophic and proliferation changes in epidermis, inflammatory changes in derma, presence except lymphohistiocytes elements, and numerous melanophags with the considerable maintenance of a pigment in cytoplasm. At carrying out immunohistochemical researches by the author it is obtained following data: Significant amount CD68 + cages macrophagals a number in a zone expressed infiltrations of derma, typical granularical cytoplasmatic character of colouring. On the basis of the lead researches it is possible to approve, that diagnostics pigmental forms LP which differs clinical polymorphism, that should be based on complex studying macro-and microscopic picture of defeat in view of specific features dermatosis, that will allow different to approach to questions of purpose of treatment.
The bullous form of the lichen planus: clinical-morphological parallels.
Svyatenko T.V.
Морфолог?я , 2007,
Abstract: The results of observation of clinical cases of bullous type of lichen ruber planus (LP) which is an atypical form of skin and mucous membranes lesions are described in the article. The clinical, pathomorphology and immunohistochemical features bullous type of LP were studied. 6 patients with bullous type of LP were observed. The clinical symptoms had such features: bullosis rash, filled by the serous, were located on the surface of the typical papule or independently, having the red or pink color, were often revealed on the skin of plantar surface of foot, in one case - on the skin of the back. The analysis of skin byopsies has revealed the alteration of processes of keratinisation and proliferation in epidermis, the oedema of the superior layer of derma, the dystrophic changes, and in some cases the full lysis of separate cellular groups leading to the destruction of epidermis with formation of subepidermal cracks and bullas. The immunohistochemical study showed the infiltrate in derma which presented mainly by T-lymphocytes with prevalence CD8+ T-suppressors that probably caused the damage basal layer of epidermis and lysis. The B-lymphocytes did not observe in infiltrate. Our data allows to prove that diagnostic of bullous type of LP which has the clinical polymorphism should be based on a complex of macro- and microscopic picture of lesion.

PELLETS IN PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGY: A BRIEF REVIEW
T.V. Yuvaraj
International Journal of Pharmaceutical Research and Development , 2010,
Abstract: Our Present Study was to review and explore the current use of pellets in Pharmaceutical field. The most important factor responsible for the proliferation of pelletized products is the popularity of controlled release technology in the delivery of drugs. In case of oral products these pellets solve difficult taste-masking problems, disperse freely in the gastro intestinal tract, invariably maximize drug absorption, reduce peak plasma fluctuations and minimize potential side effects without appreciably lowering drug bioavailability, and also reduce variations in gastric emptying rate and overall transit time, thus, intra and inter subject variability of plasma profiles, which are common with single unit regimens, are minimized. Therefore, we review the importance and rationale of pharmaceutical development and production of drug pellets, possible formulation variables and aids during the pellets formulation, technologies involved in the fabrication of pellets, various mechanisms involved in the formation of pellets, characterization and application of the pellets and also discussed the results of recent researches on the pharmaceutical drug pellets.
