Abstract: The legal principles (species of rule of law) on the theory Robert Alex optimization commandments are legal. This is of interest, since fundamental rights are, as a rule, the nature of principles. In this vein, the doctrine came to discuss about the linking of individuals to fundamental rights. Under German, were studied mainly theories mediate and immediate effectiveness, whereas under United States, it was discussed about the state action. In this century, these theories began to be studied in Brazil, with scientific literature on the subject. In this vein, this paper aims to engage with these theories, with aim of reaching finally a logical systematization satisfactory with creating parameters in view of the existence of prior legislative mediation the essentiality of the legal relationship (economic or existential) or its verticality.
Pop III GRBs: an estimative of the event rate for future surveys

Physics , 2012,
Abstract: We discuss the theoretical event rate of gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) from the collapse of massive primordial stars. We construct a theoretical model to calculate the rate and detectability of these GRBs taking into account all important feedback and recent results from numerical simulations of pristine gas. We expect to observe a maximum of N $\lesssim$ 0.2 GRBs per year integrated over at z > 6 with \textit{Swift} and N $\lesssim$ 10 GRBs per year integrated over at z > 6 with EXIST.

História, Ciências, Saúde-Manguinhos , 2012, DOI: 10.1590/S0104-59702012000400003
Abstract: the article examines brazilian refined earthenwares known as faian?a fina (fine faience) and relates ideas about its production to the contextual backdrop of hygienist discourses in the city of s?o paulo in the early twentieth century. based on an analysis of glaze components, moisture expansion processes, and technological aspects of the production of earthenware recovered from the petybon archeological site, it is suggested that the establishment of factories and the production and consumption of white ceramics in the city of s?o paulo were partially a consequence of the vigorous hygienization policies and modernity projects then advocated by s?o paulo's elites.

We are publishing a document sent to the Emperor of Brazil, D. Pedro II, in 1861, denouncing, under a catholic clergyman's point of view, the interferences practiced by James Newell Gordon, superintendent of Saint John d'el Rey Mining Company, Limited (Morro Velho), in the slaves' religious practices and the attritions which happened between Catholicism and Protestantism in this company. Between the lines, however, we can observe that it ends for revealing other important aspects of the world of the work in the English auriferous mining in Minas Gerais, in the second half of the century XIX, as for instance, punishments, prisons, Sunday rest, religious attendance to patients, begging, hierarchy relationships, among others.

Abstract: This article aims to present ideas about the forms and volumes of the refined earthenwares produced, and consumed, in S o Paulo city, during 1913 and 1937. For such, we analyze the Petybon archaeological collection, recovered from an urban archaeological site at the neighborhood of Lapa, água Branca/Vila Romana region. We assume that the diversity of the refined earthenwares forms dialogue with the modernity projects thought to S o Paulo, and the consumers demand whose many cultural practices had influenced the ceramic production by the Santa Catharina Pottery Factory and Matarazzo Factories United Industries.

Abstract: Treatment of severe compromised tooth in the maxillary anterior area still poses great challenge to the clinicians. Several treatment modalities have been proposed to restore the function and aesthetics in teeth with advanced periodontal disease. The present study aims to report a case of traumatic injury of a left-maxillary central incisor with ridge preservation, orthodontic movement, and implant therapy. A 45-year-old woman underwent the proposed treatment for her left central incisor: basic periodontal therapy, xenogenous bone graft, and guided bone regeneration (GBR). Six months after the graft procedure, orthodontic movement by means of alignment and leveling was made and a coronal displacement of the gingival margin and vertical bone apposition could be observed after 13 months of active movement. Afterwards, a dental implant was placed followed by a connective tissue graft and immediate provisionalization of the crown. In conclusion, orthodontic movement was effective to improve the gingival tissue and alveolar bone prior to implant placement favoring the aesthetic results. Six years postoperatively, the results revealed height and width alveolar bone gain indicating that the treatment proposed was able to restore all the functional and aesthetic parameters. 1. Introduction Single implant therapy is a predictable treatment and has high success rates, at least when adequate bone volume is present. However, severe compromised tooth in the maxillary aesthetic region poses a great challenge to implant therapy. A correct diagnosis, absence of systemic conditions such as diabetes mellitus [1], an adequate treatment plan, improvement of surgical techniques, and multidisciplinary team planning play an important role in the success of complex cases [2]. According to Savi et al. [3] to achieve an adequate aesthetic result in anterior upper regions with dental implants, favorable periodontal tissue and bone conditions should be present. There are several treatment options to restore the aesthetic and function of a compromised anterior tooth. Different treatment modalities to hard and soft tissue formation at the site of tooth extraction are used, including forced orthodontic eruption [4, 5], ridge augmentation by means of bone and connective tissue graft [2], guided bone regeneration (GBR), immediate or delayed implant placement, and a combination of those [6]. Implant therapy can be complex due to numerous local anatomic or traumatic factors resulting in aesthetic commitment in the maxilla. These factors involve thin gingival biotype, thin buccal bone

Abstract: the input-output matrix is a framework widely used to analyze the productivity structure and the industry interdependence both in national and regional terms. thus, it is an important feature in the planning process. however, the construction is costly and the publication, sometimes, is made with a lag. therefore, this paper upgrades the input-output matrix for minas gerais state and the rest of brazil (bdmg and fipe, 2002) for the period between 1997 and 2003. based on those matrices, it will be possible to analyze the changes occurred on minas gerais and in the rest of brazil. in order to verify the characteristics of minas gerais state we will use the production multiplier and the idea of backward and forward linkages.
Spectrophotometric determination of diclofenac in pharmaceutical preparations
Souza, Rafael Leandro de;Tubino, Matthieu;
Journal of the Brazilian Chemical Society , 2005, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-50532005000600026
Abstract: a modified procedure for the visible spectrophotometric determination of diclofenac, in pharmaceutical preparations using as reagent an aqueous solution of copper (ii), is proposed. a green color complex is formed between copper(ii) and diclofenac with a maximum light absorption at 680 nm. the influences of ph, of copper(ii) concentration, of the use of acetic acid in copper(ii) solution, of the ionic strength and of the number of extractions with chloroform were studied. the optimal conditions were found to be 5.3 (ph of the solution to be extracted), 50.0 mg ml-1 (copper (ii) acetate in 0.01 mol l-1 acetic acid solution) and three extractions with chloroform using a total volume of 5.0 ml. it was also observed that the addition of a salt in order to increase the ionic strength does not introduce important gain in complex extraction. the method was applied to commercial pharmaceutical preparations. the results were compared with those obtained with the method recommended by the pharmacopoeia (usp) using the statistical student's t-test procedure. complete agreement was found between the results obtained with the two methods. the intrinsic rsd of the proposed method was about 2.3% for sodium diclofenac and 2.7% for potassium diclofenac. when applied to tablets or liquid preparations the rsd is necessarily affected by the deviation in the masses of the individual doses. the linear correlation coefficient, r, was 0.9984 for sodium diclofenac salt and 0.9993 for potassium diclofenac salt. the linear range goes from 1.0 to 25.0 mg ml-1 in the working solution. the detection limit is 0.2 mg ml-1 and the determination limit is 0.7 mg ml-1.
