Abstract: 根据1989年赵宗慈用美国大气环流模式输出结果计算出的当CO2倍增时我国地面温度和降水量变化情况2],得出CO2倍增时河北省温度和降水的输出结果,分析了CO2倍增时河北省棉花生长季内气候变化的可能性及其对棉花分布、种植结构、产量、品质和对病虫害的影响。结果表明,CO2倍增后河北省棉花种植区域扩大,复种指数增加,产量质量有不同程度的提高,有些病虫害的发生将趋于严重,而有些病虫害则可能趋于缓解。

Visualizing molecular unidirectional rotation

Abstract: A molecule can be optically accelerated to rotate unidirectionally at a frequency of a few terahertzes which is many orders higher than the classical mechanical rotor. Such a photon-induced ultrafast molecular unidirectional rotation has been well explored as a controllable spin of the molecular nuclear wave packet. Although it has been observed for more than 10 years, a complete imaging of the unidirectional rotating nuclear wave packet is still missing, which is essentially the cornerstone of all the exploring applications. Here, for the first time, we experimentally visualize the time-dependent evolution of the double-pulse excited molecular unidirectional rotation by Coulomb explosion imaging the rotational nuclear wave packet. Our results reveal comprehensive details undiscovered in pioneering measurements, which exhibits as a joint of the quantum revival of the impulsively aligned rotational wave packet and its unidirectional rotation following the angular momentum conservation. The numerical simulations well reproduce the experimental observations and intuitively revivify the thoroughgoing evolution of the rotational wave packet.
An Uncertainty-Aware Approach for Exploratory Microblog Retrieval

Abstract: Although there has been a great deal of interest in analyzing customer opinions and breaking news in microblogs, progress has been hampered by the lack of an effective mechanism to discover and retrieve data of interest from microblogs. To address this problem, we have developed an uncertainty-aware visual analytics approach to retrieve salient posts, users, and hashtags. We extend an existing ranking technique to compute a multifaceted retrieval result: the mutual reinforcement rank of a graph node, the uncertainty of each rank, and the propagation of uncertainty among different graph nodes. To illustrate the three facets, we have also designed a composite visualization with three visual components: a graph visualization, an uncertainty glyph, and a flow map. The graph visualization with glyphs, the flow map, and the uncertainty analysis together enable analysts to effectively find the most uncertain results and interactively refine them. We have applied our approach to several Twitter datasets. Qualitative evaluation and two real-world case studies demonstrate the promise of our approach for retrieving high-quality microblog data.
Automics: an integrated platform for NMR-based metabonomics spectral processing and data analysis

Abstract: In this paper, we report an open source software tool, Automics, which is specifically designed for NMR-based metabonomics studies. Automics is a highly integrated platform that provides functions covering almost all the stages of NMR-based metabonomics studies. Automics provides high throughput automatic modules with most recently proposed algorithms and powerful manual modules for 1D NMR spectral processing. In addition to spectral processing functions, powerful features for data organization, data pre-processing, and data analysis have been implemented. Nine statistical methods can be applied to analyses including: feature selection (Fisher's criterion), data reduction (PCA, LDA, ULDA), unsupervised clustering (K-Mean) and supervised regression and classification (PLS/PLS-DA, KNN, SIMCA, SVM). Moreover, Automics has a user-friendly graphical interface for visualizing NMR spectra and data analysis results. The functional ability of Automics is demonstrated with an analysis of a type 2 diabetes metabolic profile.Automics facilitates high throughput 1D NMR spectral processing and high dimensional data analysis for NMR-based metabonomics applications. Using Automics, users can complete spectral processing and data analysis within one software package in most cases. Moreover, with its open source architecture, interested researchers can further develop and extend this software based on the existing infrastructure.Since Nicholson et al. introduced the terminology [1], metabonomics evolved into a rapid development period. Metabonomics is now widely applied in research areas such as drug toxicology, biomarker discovery, gene function study, functional genomics, natural products research, and molecular pathology etc. [2-5]. Resolution of Racemic 1,1′-Bi-2-Naphthol and Its Derivatives by Molecularly Imprinted Polymers

Abstract: 1, 1'-Bi-2-naphthol is one of the most popular analytes in chiral separation since optically active 1,1'-bi-2-naphthol and its derivatives are frequently used as chiral auxiliaries and ligands in asymmetric synthesis. Therefore, it was employed as template for the preparation of molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) which was used as liquid chromatographic stationary phase. In this study, the MIP was prepared by bulk polymerization using (R)-(+)-1 , 1'-bi-2-naphthol as template molecule, 4-vinyl pyridine, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate and acetonitrile as functional monomer, cross-linker and porogen respectively. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was employed to study the chiral recognition properties of the resulting MIP. The effect of chromatographic conditions, such as the composition of mobile phase, flow rate and column temperature, on the enantioseparation were systematically investigated. It was experimentally shown that the MIP had specific interactions and high affinity with the template molecule. The MIP could effectively resolve the rac-1, 1'-bi-2-naphthol, and the separation factor was found to be 12.25 under the following conditions: mobile phase, acetonitrile-acetic acid (99: 1, v/v); flow rate, 1.2 mL/min; column temperature, 30 degrees C. The addition of acetic acid to the mobile phase can improve the peak shape, and the lower flow rate and lower column temperature is better for the separation. Further, other substrates which have the similar structure with 1, 1'-bi-2-naphthol, i. e, 5, 6, 7, 8, 5', 6', 7', 8'-octahydro-1, 1'-bi-2-naphthol and 1, 1'-binaphthalenyl-2-amino-2'-ol were also resolved partly by optimizing the HPLC conditions, with separation factors of 1.51 and 2.40, respectively.

Abstract: Partition-and-Recur (PAR) method is a simple and useful formal method. It can be used to design and testify algo-rithmic programs. In this paper, we propose that PAR method is an effective formal method on solving combinatorics problems. Furthermore, we formally derive combinatorics problems by PAR method, which cannot only simplify the process of algorithmic program's designing, but also improve its automatization, standardization and correctness. We develop algorithms for two typical combinatorics problems, the number of string scheme and the number of error per-mutation scheme. Lastly, we obtain accurate C++ programs which are transformed by automatic transforming system of PAR platform.

First-principles calculation of the electronic band of ZnO doped with C

Abstract: Using the first-principles approach based upon the density functional theory (DFT), we have studied the electronic structure of wurtzite ZnO systems doped with C at different sites. When Zn is substituted by C, the system turns from a direct band gap semiconductor into an indirect band gap semiconductor, and donor levels are formed. When O is substituted by C, acceptor levels are formed near the top of the valence band, and thus a p-type transformation of the system is achieved. When the two kinds of substitution coexist, the acceptor levels are compensated for all cases, which is unfavorable for the p-type transformation of the system.
Toxicity of Bacillus thuringiensis toxin proteins against Athetis lepigone larvae and histopathology of the midgut of the larvae

Abstract: 为更好地了解苏云金芽胞杆菌Bacillus thuringiensis毒素蛋白对二点委夜蛾Athetis lepigone的毒力以及作用机理,通过饲喂含有Cry1Ac、Cry1Ab、Cry2Ab和Vip3Aa四种不同Bt毒素蛋白饲料,测定Bt毒素蛋白对二点委夜蛾幼虫的毒力,并观察取食4种毒素蛋白后幼虫中肠组织的病理学变化。结果显示,二点委夜蛾幼虫取食毒素蛋白后72 h,Cry1Ab和Cry1Ac毒素蛋白对二点委夜蛾幼虫的杀虫活性较高,校正死亡率为84.7%和76.4%;Vip3Aa和Cry2Ab毒素蛋白的毒力较弱。二点委夜蛾幼虫取食4种Bt毒素蛋白后,中肠柱状细胞微绒毛脱落,杂乱地分散在肠腔内,杯状细胞变形和腔内微绒毛脱落,线粒体和内质网等变形破裂,细胞核的核膜消失、核质凝聚和形状发生变化,经Cry1Ab和Cry1Ac毒素蛋白处理后中肠细胞的病变症状和速度明显高于Cry2Ab和Vip3Aa毒素蛋白处理。表明Cry1Ab和Cry1Ac毒素蛋白对二点委夜蛾幼虫杀虫活性较高,显著高于Cry2Ab和Vip3Aa毒素蛋白,且对其中肠细胞的破坏作用也较强。
In order to examine the action mechanism of Bacillus thuringiensis toxin against Athetis lepigone larvae, A. lepigone larvae were fed on Cry1Ac, Cry1Ab, Cry2Ab and Vip3A toxins, and the toxicity of Bt toxin proteins to A. lepigone larvae was detected, and the cellular morphological change in the midgut of larvae was observed by transmission electron microscope (TEM). The results showed that Cry1Ab and Cry1Ac toxins had higher toxicity against the larvae of A. lepigone than Cry2Ab and Vip3Aa toxins, and the corrected mortality were 84.7% and 76.4%, respectively. Obvious histopathological changes were observed in the midgut cells after the larvae were fed on Bt toxins. Microvillis of column cells and goblet cells dropped off. Mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum were dissolved and mixed disorderly. Wiredraw of nucleus, condensation of nuclear, and disappearance of nuclear membrane were also observed. The pathological changes of column cells and goblet cells in the midgut of A. lepigone larvae induced by Vip3Aa and Cry2Ab were slower than that by Cry1Ab and Cry1Ac. The results indicated that Cry1Ab and Cry1Ac toxins had higher toxicity against the larvae of A. lepigone than Vip3Aa and Cry2Ab toxins. Similar to the changes of histopathology, Cry1Ab and Cry1Ac toxins disrupted the midgut epithelium cells faster than Vip3Aa and Cry2Ab toxins. Lysis of gut epithelium cells resulting in larval death might be the mode of action of Cry toxin and Vip toxin.
