From Dynamic Linear Evaluation Rule to Dynamic CAPM in a Fractional Brownian Motion Environment  [PDF]
Qing Zhou, Chao Li
Journal of Mathematical Finance (JMF) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/jmf.2012.24034
Abstract: In this paper, we present the fundamental framework of the evaluation problem under which the evaluation operator satisfying some axioms is linear. Based on the dynamic linear evaluation mechanism of contingent claims, studying this evaluation rule in the market driven by fractional Brownian motions has led to a dynamic capital asset pricing model. It is deduced here mainly with the fractional Girsanov theorem and the Clark-Haussmann-Ocone theorem.

American Journal of Industrial and Business Management (AJIBM) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/ajibm.2013.38081

The incentive problems of the employees of the new generation are increasingly becoming the focus of managers, because they go to work and gradually become the main force in the labor market. However, special social-economic background has given the crowd a few generational features, which require us to explore the incentive work of the new generation with a whole new perspective. In addition, our country is a country which attaches great importance to the cultural inheritance and the traditional national culture deeply affects every generation in different degree. The social structure of the structure of grade as an important part of traditional Chinese culture is bound to be a unique impact on the employees of the new generation. So, this paper will elaborate the incentive problems of the new generation mainly from the perspective of the China’s social structure (the structure of grade) and theory of cognitive dissonance.

Open Journal of Social Sciences (JSS) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/jss.2016.42026
Abstract: The aim of the paper is to describe the basic information of new staffs in the top-three hospital in Chongqing, analyze their needs and evaluation for pre-job training, and establish curriculums and training methods which are combined with social role theory. Questionnaire is used to survey new staffs who participated in pre-job training in the first half year in 2014. This questionnaire is anonymous and collected immediately. Excel is used to enter and analyze data. First, the majority of new staffs are doctors and masters who belong to clinical department. What is more, most are females. Second, most of staffs are satisfied with this training in overall management, time management, and training content. However, a small number of staffs think training methods are monotonous. Curriculums contents should be designed according to the characteristic of jobs, education, and major. Training methods should be interactive. Moreover, hospitals need to intensify information feedback to improve pre-job training from multi-aspects.
Study on the Spillover Effects of Overseas Brand Crises  [PDF]
Qing Li, Zheng Jiang
Journal of Service Science and Management (JSSM) , 2017, DOI: 10.4236/jssm.2017.104031
Abstract: Innocent domestic brands are always infected by some overseas brand crises. In this article, we examined the factors that can inhibit the spillover effects of overseas brand crises. The results revealed that high level of mental construal and national identity can help domestic brands defend the negative spillover effects of overseas brand crises. For consumers with low level of national identity, they evaluate domestic brands more favorably when they are at the high level of construal than assigned at the low level of construal.

International Journal of Geosciences (IJG) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/ijg.2012.32042
Abstract: The climate change in Shandong Peninsula, China was analyzed in this paper by the non-parametric Mann-Kendall test, Accumulated Difference Curve and Order Cluster Analysis methods, based upon the datas of annual mean, maximum and minimum temperature and annual precipitation, precipitation from June to September over the past 50 years. Results obtained showed a number of observations: 1) The annual mean temperature of Shandong Peninsula showed a significant increasing trend, with a distinct abrupt change point detected around 1990, during the past 5 decades. The warming of the Peninsula over the last 50 years was due mainly to the significant increase of annual minimum temperature. The annual maximum temperature demonstrated a mixed trend of decreasing and increasing, but was statistically insignificant, and no abrupt change was detected; 2) The annual precipitation exhibited a decreasing trend during the past 5 decades, with an abrupt change detected around 1980 at most stations; but there was an earlier transition point at 1966, at a few stations. The reduction in precipitation, from June to September, was responsible mainly for the decrease of annual precipitation. Besides, the proportion of the June-September precipitation in the year declined slightly over the last 50 years; 3) In comparison, the temperature evolution in Shandong Peninsula was basically consistent with most parts of China, but warmed at a faster rate over the same period; the decreasing trend of precipitation was more significant compared with the other climate zones of China. Within the Peninsula, the abrupt change of temperature and precipitation in the Southeast was earlier than that in the Northwest; the reduction of precipitation was larger in the Southeast while the increase of temperature was more significant in the Northwest. This research was of great importance to understand the climate change and its environmental effects in the coastal zone.
Analysis of the Influential Factors of Manufactured Products Intra-Industry Trade between China-South Korea and China’ Policy  [PDF]
Yan Li, Qing-Ling Dai, Qing-Bo Huang
Theoretical Economics Letters (TEL) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/tel.2015.51016
Abstract: In recent years, the trading contact between China and South Korea has become more and more close. In the 21st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea 2013, China has become South Korea’s largest export market and largest import market. At the same time, South Korea has become China’s fourth largest exporter and second largest importer of foreign trade, which contributes to the rapid development of?manufactured products intra-industry trade between China and South Korea. This paper summarizes the development status of industrial manufactured products intra-industry trade between China and South Korea since 1992, and uses empirical analysis, then drawing a conclusion that the direct investment from South Korea to China, total merchandise trade between China and South Korea, and the economic development level of China have great influences on the level of intra-industry trade between China and South Korea, but the degree of the influence is different for different types of manufactured goods. Finally, this article proposes policy recommendations to promote the further development of manufactured products intra-industry trade between China and South Korea.

Data Discrimination in Fault-Prone Sensor Networks  [PDF]
Xiaoning Cui, Qing Li, Baohua Zhao
Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) , 2010, DOI: 10.4236/wsn.2010.24039
Abstract: While sensor networks have been used in various applications because of the automatic sensing capability and ad-hoc organization of sensor nodes, the fault-prone characteristic of sensor networks has challenged the event detection and the anomaly detection which, to some extent, have neglected the importance of discriminating events and errors. Considering data uncertainty, in this article, we present the problem of data discrimination in fault-prone sensor networks, analyze the similarities and the differences between events and errors, and design a multi-level systematic discrimination framework. In each step, the framework filters erroneous data from the raw data and marks potential event samples for the next-step processing. The raw data set D is finally partitioned into three subsets, Devent, Derror and Dordinary. Both the scenario-based simulations and the experiments on real-sensed data are carried out. The statistical results of various discrimination metrics demonstrate high distinction ratio as well as the robustness in different cases of the network.
Segmentation and texture analysis with multimodel inference for the automatic detection of exudates in early diabetic retinopathy  [PDF]

Journal of Biomedical Science and Engineering (JBiSE) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/jbise.2013.63038

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is an eye disease caused by the increase of insulin in blood and may cause blindness if not treated at an early stage. Exudates are the primary sign of DR. Currently there is no fully automated method to detect exudates in the literature and it would be useful in large scale screening if fully automatic method is available. In this paper we developed a novel method to detect exudates that based on interactions between texture analysis and segmentation with mathematical morphological technique by using multimodel inference. The texture analysis involves three components: they are statistical texture analysis, high order spectra analysis, and fractal analysis. The performance of the proposed method is assessed by the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy using the public data DIARETDB1. Our results show that the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy are 95.7%, 97.6% and 98.7% (SE = 0.01), respectively. It is shown that the proposed method can be run automatically and also improve the accuracy of exudates detection significantly over most of the previous methods.
