Performance Evaluation Model of Engineering Project Management Based on Improved Wavelet Neural Network  [PDF]

Abstract: The scientific and reasonable performance evaluation is advantageous to promote the comprehensive management level of engineering projects. Benefited from constrictive and fluctuant of wavelet transform and self-study, self-adjustment and nonlinear mapping functions of wavelet neural network (WNN), and based on the existing assessment method and the index system, the performance evaluation model of engineering project management is established. One company is taken as the study object for this model. Compared with the conventional method, the influence of human factor is eliminated, thus the objectivity of the measure results is increased. A satisfactory result is concluded, thus a new ap-proach is presented for engineering project management performance evaluation.
An Investigation of Psychological Adjustment Differences among Chinese College Students: From the Perspectives of Their Gender, Major and Grade  [PDF]

Abstract: The goal of the study was to examine levels of psychological adjustment among college students in China; 650 college students took part in Adolescents’ Adaptability Scale (AAS). The results indicated that: 1) there was no significant gender difference in levels of psychological adjustment among college students in China; 2) there were apparent differences in majors. Students who specialized in physical art have the strongest levels of adjustment, while students who majored in arts have the weakest levels of adjustment; 3) significant differences were also existed in Grades, sophomores got the highest levels of adjustment, whereas seniors got the weakest levels of adjustment.

Abstract: This article provides an alternative approach to estimate the functional coefficient ARCH-M model given by Zhang, Wong and Li (2016) [1]. The new method has improvement in both computational and theoretical parts. It is found that the computation cost is saved and certain convergence rate for parameter estimation has been obtained.
Event-Related Potential Effects Associated with Insight Problem Solving in a Chinese Logogriph Task  [PDF]

Abstract: The electrophysiological correlates of insight and non-insight problems solving were studied using event- related potentials (ERPs). Participants were given some time to guess Chinese logogriphs and then presented with an answer to judge whether it matched the logogriph. Results showed that the insight trials elicited a more negative ERP deflection (N300-500) than did the non-insight trials in most scalp regions. In a later time window from 600 ms to 1100 ms, the insight trials elicited a more positive ERP deflection (P600-1100) than the non-insight trials, mostly in central regions. The results indicate that the early N300-500 effect may reflect cognitive conflict resulting from the breaking of mental set and the later P600-1100 effect may be related to the formation of novel associations, both crucial to the occurrence of insight.

Selecting proper operation method according to special condition is the key point of increasing curative effect, decreasing suffering and relapse rate and promoting quality of life of patients. The authors summarized operation methods, including abscess incision drainage, radical incision and thread-drawing, and staging incision and thread-drawing, etc. in treating perianal abscess in clinic.
An Analysis of Causes for Loss of Cultural Rights of Migrant Workers

Abstract: The fact that migrant workers are a vulnerable group not only means that their economic interests are unlikely to be effectively guaranteed, but also means general loss of their cultural rights. This paper makes an analysis of causes for loss of cultural rights of migrant workers mainly from three aspects, namely, insufficient awareness and ineffective security of the government, inadequate social concern and no strong atmosphere and vulnerability and weak aspiration of migrant workers. Namely, the author makes a macro analysis from the three aspects of the government, the society and migrant workers. Only if we analyze both the subjective and objective causes for loss of cultural rights of migrant workers in a correct way, is it likely to find out a proper policy to resolve loss of cultural rights of migrant workers.

Abstract: Let $M$ be a compact connected orientable Seifert manifold with hyperbolic orbifold $B_M$, and $f_{\pi}: \pi_1(M)\rightarrow\pi_1(M)$ be an automorphism induced by an orientation-reversing homeomorphism $f$ of $M$. We give a bound on the rank of the fixed subgroup of $f_{\pi}$, namely, $\rank\fix(f_{\pi})<2\rank \pi_1(M)$, which is similar to the inequalities on surface groups and hyperbolic 3-manifold groups.
Spatio-Temporal Variations of Precipitation Extremes in the Yangtze River Basin (1960-2002), China  [PDF]

Abstract: Daily precipitation data during 1960-2002 from 150 stations in the Yangtze River basin were analyzed with the help of linear trend analysis. Highest 5-day and 10-day precipitation amount (R5D and R10D) and percentile daily precipitation maxima (prec95p for 95th percentile and prec99p for 99th percentile) were accepted as the precipitation extreme index. The frequency of the R5D and R10D was in downward trend, this phenomenon is more obvious in the middle Yangtze River basin; The stations with total precipitation of R5D and R10D are in significant upward trend (> 95% confidence level) are mostly located in the lower Yangtze River basin and the south-western part of the Yangtze River basin; 2) the spatial distribution of the frequency of total precipitation of the percentile daily precipitation maxima is similar to that of R5D and R10D. However the frequency of prec95p and prec99p is in significant upward trend. The upward trend of total precipitation changes of prec95p and prec99p is more obvious than that of frequency of prec95p and prec99p. The regions dominated by upward trend of frequency/total precipitation of prec95p and prec99p are also the lower Yangtze River basin and south-western part of the Yangtze River basin. Therefore the occurrence probability of the flash floods in the lower Yangtze River basin and south-western part of the Yangtze River basin will be greater.

Abstract: Using the data of “A field experiment on landatmosphere interaction over arid region in Northwest China” carried out in Dunhuang of Gansu Province from May to June 2000; Characteristics of the atmospheric humidity over desert and Gobi near oasis in the Northwest China Arid Region are analyzed. According to the difference of the characteristics in different wind directions, the impacts of oasis on atmospheric hydrological cycle over desert and Gobi near it are revealed. The relation of atmosphere inverse humidity and negative water vapor flux to wind direction and atmospheric stability is studied. It shows that distribution of the atmosphere inverse humidity is inconsistent with that of the negative water vapor flux; sometimes 1-hour-average value demonstrates the characteristic of counter-gradient transfer. And the diurnal variation of distribution of the counter-gradient transfer and the effect of atmospheric stability on the counter-gradient transfer are also given.

Abstract: In view of incomplete probability information multi-objective question, it used probabilistic perturbation method and Edgeworth series technique to study reliability optimization design. The first four moments of basic random variables are known under condition. It used the Ant Colony Algorithm to design cutting head roadheader, the optimized result indicated that cutting head load fluctuation and compared energy consumption were reduced obviously at the same time. This result enhanced roadheader operational reliability and energy effectively.
