Research on Location-Routing Problem with Empirical Analysis for Regional Logistics Distribution  [PDF]
Qian Zhang
Applied Mathematics (AM) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/am.2014.515224
Abstract:

The location of the distribution facilities and the routing of the vehicles from these facilities are interdependent in many distribution systems. Such a concept recognizes the interdependence; attempts to integrate these two decisions have been limited. Multi-objective location-routing problem (MLRP) is combined with the facility location and the vehicle routing decision and satisfied the different objectives. Due to the problem complexity, simultaneous solution methods are limited, which are given in different objectives with conflicts in functions satisfied. Two kinds of optimal mathematical models are proposed for the solution of MLRP. Three methods have been emphatically developed for MLRP. MGA architecture makes it possible to search the solution space efficiently, which provides a path for searching the solution with two-objective LRP. At last the practical proof is given by random analysis for regional distribution with nine cities.

Abstract:

Supply chain management is an integrated management method for solving these effective problems which were integrated in existing resources with the overall competitiveness and theirs effects. The supply chain integration and innovation models are proposed with the development and current situation for these global Chinese businessmen. The supply chain integration is given in order to optimize for the culture of Chinese business management. It is established that these practice network platform for supply chain management are presented service for Chinese businessmen. And they are realized these integration innovation in the logistics system, financial system, Chinese business culture system, production manufacturing system, and customer service system. These suggestions are provided for the development of Chinese business culture in supply chain theory. These further forward Chinese culture are given some fruitful reference for con- structing a new development for the world Chinese businessmen’s culture management.

A Comparative Study of the Effect of Interlocking Directorates on Merger Target Selection under Different Merger and Acquisition Modes  [PDF]
Qian Zhang
American Journal of Industrial and Business Management (AJIBM) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/ajibm.2016.63023
Abstract: This paper, taking the directors of listed companies as point of penetration, studies the effects of interlocking directorates on the company’s merger decisions. With a focus on interlocking directorates’ influence on the selection of M & A targets, a Probit regression test was conducted by pairing potential M & A targets to real acquisition sample according to the industry of the real sample. The innovation of this paper lies in the study of whether there is a significant difference in the effect of interlocking directorates through differentiating various M & A modes, including horizontal mergers, vertical mergers and mixed mergers. The empirical analysis concludes that when there are interlocking directorates in merger company and potential target company, it is more likely for the potential target to be the object company. What’s more, by comparison, when the acquiring company and the target company are from different industries, there is greater impact of interlocking directorates, and the effects are stronger in vertical mergers than in mixed mergers and horizontal mergers.

The Equivalent Conversion between Regular Grammar and Finite Automata  [PDF]
Jielan Zhang, Zhongsheng Qian
Journal of Software Engineering and Applications (JSEA) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/jsea.2013.61005
Abstract:

The equivalence exists between regular grammar and finite automata in accepting languages. Some complicated conversion algorithms have also been in existence. The simplified forms of the algorithms and their proofs are given. And the construction algorithm 5 of the equivalent conversion from finite automata to left linear grammar is presented as well as its correctness proof. Additionally, a relevant example is expounded.

Jingjin Tian, Zhang Qian
Psychology (PSYCH) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/psych.2014.51006
Abstract:

The study was to examine the gender differences in aggression among Chinese children after playing violent computer games by using emotional STROOP task. 98 children participated in this study, with 49 assigned to violent computer game group and the other 49 assigned to nonviolent computer game group. The results demonstrated that there were significant differences in main affect of game type, and significant Game Type × Gender interaction as well. In particular, boys’ aggression was significantly impacted by violent games, whereas girls’ aggression was not significantly impacted by violent games. The implication of this research is that, the significant difference in aggression to gender is activated, and that boys were more aggressive and sensitive to violent games than girls.

Finally, this paper makes an attempt to provide further suggestions to improve the unbalanced situation of the source allocation in China.
An Analysis of Dee’s Identity Construction from the Perspective of Consumer Culture  [PDF]
Qian Zhang, Haimei Liu
Advances in Literary Study (ALS) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/als.2014.23012
Abstract:

This paper will focus on the role of the consumer culture in Dee’s identity construction in Everyday Use. Dee’s identification with the female image and her aestheticization of the reality and the history of African American reflect consumer culture acts as the “Other” in the Dee’s identity construction. However, consumption culture also serves as the domain where Dee establishes her self-identity as a black female in a white-dominant world. Through the exploration of the double role of consumer culture in Dee’s identity construction, this thesis advocates that in Every Use Walker presents the new black women dilemma in white-male consumer society and her thought on how to construct black female identities under the invasion of consumer culture into the American South, so that to some extent it makes certain contribution to the issue how women construct their own identity in the consumer society full of survival anxiety.

An Empirical Research on Interactive Relationship of Urban Housing Prices in China: Analysis of Six Major Cities  [PDF]
Qian Zhang, Dexiang Mei
Low Carbon Economy (LCE) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/lce.2015.62008
Abstract: This paper applies non-linear granger causality test and impulse response function method to analyze the spillover effect of housing prices fluctuation among six major Chinese cities, namely, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Tianjin and Chongqing. Results indicate that fluctuation of urban housing prices in the short term is a wide range of positive spillover effect, and then the effect will gradually disappear. The spillover effect of housing prices fluctuation and cities’ space distance do not necessarily exist relationship; at the same time, Shanghai housing price fluctuation has a great influence on other cities generally. Accordingly, relevant policy suggestions are put forward.
