Visualization Analysis of Multi-Domain Access Control Policy Integration Based on Tree-Maps and Semantic Substrates  [PDF]

Abstract: The complexity of multi-domain access control policy integration makes it difficult to understand and manage the policy conflict information. The policy information visualization technology can express the logical relation of the complex information intuitively which can effectively improve the management ability of the multi-domain policy integration. Based on the role-based access control model, this paper proposed two policy analyzing methods on the separated domain statistical information of multi-domain policy integration conflicts and the policy element levels of inter-domain and element mapping of cross-domain respectively. In addition, the corresponding visualization tool is developed. We use the tree-maps algorithm to statistically analyze quantity and type of the policy integration conflicts. On that basis, the semantic substrates algorithm is applied to concretely analyze the policy element levels of inter-domain and role and permission mapping of cross-domain. Experimental result shows tree-maps and semantic substrates can effectively analyze the conflicts of multi-domain policy integration and have a good application value.
Controlling Unstable Discrete Chaos and Hyperchaos Systems  [PDF]

A method is introduced to stabilize unstable discrete systems, which does not require any adjustable control parameters of the system. 2-dimension discrete Fold system and 3-dimension discrete hyperchaotic system are stabilized to fixed points respectively. Numerical simulations are then provided to show the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed chaos and hyperchaos controlling scheme.

The Effects of Institutional Difference and Resource Seeking Intent on Location Choice of Chinese Outward FDI  [PDF]

Abstract: This study seeks to explain how differences in political risk and economic freedom between host and home countries interact with investing firms’ resource-seeking intent to influence the firms’ outward foreign direct investment (FDI) location choice. Using panel data covering Chinese outward FDI in 62 host countries during the period of 2003-2014, we performed panel data regression analysis. The results show that when firms’ resource seeking intention is high, the FDI location choice is negatively associated with the differences in political risk, but positively associated with the differences in economic freedom between China and the host countries. The results also show that there is a substituting effect between political risk and economic freedom in their interactions with resource-seeking intent to influence FDI location choice. The findings suggest that the Chinese firms’ outward FDI location choice is a result of the interplay and the fit between the firms’ external legitimacy in the host countries and the firms’ internal legitimacy within the multinational organization.
The Impact of Economic Growth and Tax Reform on Tax Revenue and Structure: Evidence from China Experience  [PDF]

This paper aims to study the mechanism of how economic growth and tax reform affect total tax revenue and structure over the period (1950-2011). On the basis of the introduction of China’s previous main measures in tax reform, this paper uses methods as descriptive statistics, multi-segment linear regression model and principal component analysis to analyze how economic growth and tax reform affect the total tax revenue and structure mainly from three aspects as the total amount of the tax, the value-added tax and the corporate income tax, which are under the background of tax reform. The empirical results show that economic growth not only has a significant impact on the total tax revenue and structure changes, but also has a long-term stability relationship with total tax revenue. And in a long term, there is no extraordinary growth of tax revenue. In addition, every tax reform shows a clear impact on the tax structure, while the impact of changes in the total tax revenue is diminishing over time.

As ITU-R Recommendations is widely implemented for countries all over the world, the role and status of ITU-R Recommendations are increasingly prominent in the field of radio engineering. ITU and ITU-R Study Groups are summarized. Furthermore, the operating mode of the third study group, and the input documents are interpreted in detail. Lastly, from both wireless system design and electromagnetic compatibility analysis perspective, all of 79 P-series Recommendations are analyzed and classified, and the main contents of each Recommendation are summarized. The above research promote P-series Recommendations are widely used in China.

Optimization Design of Fracturing Parameters for Coalbed Methane Wells in Dafosi Mine Field  [PDF]

Abstract: Being controlled by the gas content of the reservoir, the productivity of CBM well is also mainly determined by its engineering quality and the physical property of the reservoir. In Dafosi mine field, 22 vertical wells from the “26 + 1” CBM wells project that was implemented since 2014 showed great difference in productivity after fracturing construction. With the consistent geological condition of coal reservoirs, fracturing construction parameters are suggested as the priority factor that controlling the well productivity. In this study, being combined with historical production and geological data, an optimized designation of fracturing construction parameters was established based on systematically comparative analysis of construction parameters such as discharge, the total volume of fracturing fluid, the quality of sand, sand ratio, which provides engineering basis for further fracturing construction of CBM wells.
Pore Characteristics of Vitrain and Durain in Low Rank Coal Area  [PDF]

Abstract: The low rank coalbed methane (CBM) has great potential for exploration and development in China, but its exploitation level is low at present stage. The pores are the storage space of CBM, so recognizing its structural characteristics has very important practical significance for the development of CBM. The samples of No. 4 and upper No. 4 coalbed in Dafosi were selected to carry out the analysis of mercury injection test, nitrogen adsorption test and scanning electron microscopy to study the different lithotypes of the pore structure, pore throat distribution and fracture character of low rank coal reservoir. The results showed that micropore of low rank coal in Dafosi relatively developed and the pore volume of vitrain was equivalent to durain. The pore throat of durain was larger than vitrain, the connectivity was better and the fissures were more developed. The percolation capacity and reservoir performance of upper No. 4 coal was better than No. 4 coal. Generally, the potential of exploration and development of upper No. 4 coal in the study area was better than that of No. 4, and the developed area of durain was more beneficial for the development of CBM.

Abstract: Translation activities, in the context of globalization, promote communication between people from different countries with different languages, and enhance the fusion of the two cultures behind these two languages concerned. This paper, focusing on the ostensive-inferential communication in translation process of the medicine-health text named Your Medical Mind: How to Decide What Is Right for You, aims at achieving successful communication between the authors of this paper and their target readers. By concrete analysis of the target text from the lexical level, syntactic level and cultural level, this study finds that it is the translators who take the most active and key role to bridge the two languages and cultures for communication, and only under the target readers’ good comprehension of the meaning conveyed by the source text can the translators succeed in transmitting the informative intention and communicative intention through ostensive stimulus to their target readers.
miR-24 Regulates Intrinsic Apoptosis Pathway in Mouse Cardiomyocytes

Abstract: Numerous cardiac diseases, including myocardial infarction (MI) and chronic heart failure, have been associated with cardiomyocyte apoptosis. Promoting cell survival by inhibiting apoptosis is one of the effective strategies to attenuate cardiac dysfunction caused by cardiomyocyte loss. miR-24 has been shown as an anti-apoptotic microRNA in various animal models. In vivo delivery of miR-24 into a mouse MI model suppressed cardiac cell death, attenuated infarct size, and rescued cardiac dysfunction. However, the molecular pathway by which miR-24 inhibits cardiomyocyte apoptosis is not known. Here we found that miR-24 negatively regulates mouse primary cadiomyocyte cell death through functioning in the intrinsic apoptotic pathways. In ER-mediated intrinsic pathway, miR-24 genetically interacts with the CEBP homologous gene CHOP as knocking down of CHOP partially attenuated the induced apoptosis by miR-24 inhibition. In mitochondria–involved intrinsic pathway, miR-24 inhibits the initiation of apoptosis through suppression of Cytochrome C release and Bax translocation from cytosol to mitochondria. These results provide mechanistic insights into the miR-24 mediated anti-apoptotic effects in murine cardiomyocytes.
