Analysis of Modernization GNSS Navigation Message''s Designing

Abstract: Navigation message is an important component of satellite signal. Its design will not only influence the system’s performances including timeliness, integrality, flexibility, reliability, extendibility, etc., but also user’s use-cost. The design of various navigation messages is analyzed and compared, especially in aspects of data content, coding performance, layout structure and broadcast style of modernization Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). It is indicated that the improvements in the design of navigation message will bring improvement of system performance and make the user easy to use. The navigation message design scheme of China COMPASS system is put forward by consulting the message design schemes of modernization GNSS, which are: multi-coding scheme basing error correcting code, checking code and interleaving code; message layout structure of frame and data block together; intercrossed broadcasting style between or among satellites and frequencies.
The stability margin on EAST tokamak

Abstract: The experimental advanced superconducting tokamak (EAST) is the first full superconducting tokamak with a D-shaped cross-sectional plasma presently in operation. Its poloidal coils are relatively far from the plasma due to the necessary thermal isolation from the superconducting magnets, which leads to relatively weaker coupling between plasma and poloidal field. This may cause more difficulties in controlling the vertical instability by using the poloidal coils. The measured growth rates of vertical stability are compared with theoretical calculations, based on a rigid plasma model. Poloidal beta and internal inductance are varied to investigate their effects on the stability margin by changing the values of parameters $\alpha _n$ and $\gamma _n$(Howl {\it et al} 1992 \wx{Phys. Fluids {\rm B}}{4} 1724), with plasma shape fixed to be a configuration with $k = 1.9$ and $\delta = 0.5$. A number of ways of studying the stability margin are investigated. Among them, changing the values of parameters $\kappa$ and $l_i$ is shown to be the most effective way to increase the stability margin. Finally, a guideline of stability margin $M_s (\kappa ,l_i ,A)$ to a new discharge scenario showing whether plasmas can be stabilized is also presented in this paper.
Techno-Economic Study on an Energy System in Northwest China  [PDF]

Abstract: A combined system of heating, power and biogas (CHPB) system has been developed and tested in a single building in MinQin County, Gansu Province, China. The proposed system satisfies the user’s demand of power, heat, and gas. The CHPB system can effectively overcome seasonal, climate and many other factors which affect the production of the renewable energy. For this purpose, experiments were conducted extensively during the winter period from November 2014 to March 2015. Compared with conventional energy supply systems meets the test household indoor temperature level, the system can reduce the consumption of standard coal 5819.30 kg/year, and save energy costs 11,046.20 yuan/year, the system’s payback period of 4.37 years, also can save 27.03 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. As a result, the CHPB system have been successfully tested for single building, use solar energy and biomass as input and produce power, heat, and gas steadily. These results contributed to the construction of energy supply systems.

Abstract: A host-guest assembly, [(C40H44N24O12)·(C6H5NO3)8·13(H2O)] (1), based on a partial substituted cucurbituril, α,δ-tetramethylcucurbit[6]uril (TMeQ[6]), and 4-nitrophenol was synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. A combination of hydrogen-bonding between the latticed water molecule and the hydroxyl group of 4-nitrophenol, the hydroxyl group of 4-nitrophenol and the carbonyl groups lining the portals in additon, the C-H···π interactions between the 4-nitrophenol molecules could be the driving forces of formation such an exclusion host-guest assembly.
Development of Direct Competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay for the Determination of Domoic Acid

Abstract: To develop a direct competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for rapid detection of domoic acid concentrations, HRP (horse radish peroxidase) was successfully linked to DA using EDC. The concentration of DA was quantitatively analyzed on the basic of the specific immune responses between the DA- HRP and the monoclonal antibodies made in advance. Calibration curve were established after the optimization of reaction conditions such as the type of blocking solution, the blocking time and the incubation temperature. The results show that, the best reaction condition of the direct competitive ELISA is 1% gelatin, blocking 1 h at 37 degrees C, incubating 1 h at 37 degrees C after the monoclonal antibodies added. The detect limit is 3.58 ng x mL(-1), the coefficient of variation between the holes is below 15%, and the recovery is 80% - 120%. The whole analysis process could be completed within 1.5 h. It meets the requirements of rapid and batch detection of domoic acid. The method will have broad development prospects.
Genotoxic and Biological Evaluation of a Nano Silica Cross Linked Composite Specifically Used for Intra-Vas Device  [PDF]

Abstract: The Context: Aims: To evaluate the biocompatibility and in vitro genotoxicity of a non-copper nano silica polymer modified composite for filtering-type intra-vas devices. Settings and Design: Academic research laboratory, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Prospective experimental study. Methods and Material: Non-copper nano silica polymer modified composite rods were implanted into the back muscle of rabbits for biocompatibility evaluation. Comet assay was applied to the determination of DNA damage, while, Mutagenic activity was tested by means of Ames test using Salmonella typhimurium TA98 and TA 100 tester strains with and without metabolic activation. Statistical analysis used: qualitative and quantitative data were tested using the Chi-square test and Student’s test. Results: Only mild inflammatory reaction was observed in the surrounding tissues of the implanted nano-silica modified polymer composite in the early implantation stage, which was similar to that of the sham-operated group. The inflammatory reaction was completely disappeared after 12 weeks. No significant DNA damage (P > 0.05) were tested on the nano-silica modified polymer composite in Comet assay. In Ames test, the extracts from non-copper composite did not exert mutagenic effect on the bacterial. Conclusions: The non-copper nano silica modified composite did not exhibit in vitro genotoxicity and obvious inflammation in tissue, it would be a safe biomaterial for further clinical trial.

Abstract: Plasmas with vertically elongated cross-sections tend to be unstable to an axis-symmetric instability. This paper studies the magnetohydrodynamic equilibria in elongated plasmas after failure of vertical feedback control by using magnetic data for EAST device. Vertical forces on the vessel due to the induced polodial and toroidal currents are evaluated. The maximum force of the Fzpol in vertical displacement events for EAST designed parameters is given.
Development of colloidal gold immunochromatographic strip for rapid detection of domoic acid

Abstract: The colloidal gold immunochromatographic test strip was developed in order to establish a rapid detection assay of Domoic acid (DA) content in marine shellfish. The colloidal gold with particle diameter 20 nm was obtained by reducing gold chloride with sodium citrate. After identification by electron micrograph, optimum conditions for labeling were determined and colloidal gold was labeled by DA monoclonal antibody. The gold-labeled antibody was coated on some chosen glass fiber and dried. The coating antigen (DA-BSA) and Goat anti Mouse IgG were spotted respectively on a piece of nitrate fiber membrane as test line and control line. Finally the test strips were constructed and the detection sensitivity was measured. The results showed that, the detection limit of colloidal gold immunochromatographic test strip was 20 ng/mL and the whole analysis process could be completed within 15 min. The method established is sensitive and the procedure of determination is simple and quick without special equipment. The colloidal gold immunochromatographic test strip could be widely used for batch detection of domoic acid in shellfish on site and has great prospect for commercial development.
