Analysis of syndrome discipline of generalized anxiety disorder using data mining techniques

Abstract: OBJECTIVE: To study the use of data mining techniques in analyzing the syndrome discipline of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). METHODS: From August 1, 2009 to July 31, 2010, 705 patients with GAD in 10 hospitals of Beijing were investigated over one year. Data mining techniques, such as Bayes net and cluster analysis, were used to analyze the syndrome discipline of GAD.RESULTS: A total of 61 symptoms of GAD were screened out. By using Bayes net, nine syndromes of GAD were abstracted based on the symptoms. Eight syndromes were abstracted by cluster analysis. After screening for duplicate syndromes and combining the experts’ experience and traditional Chinese medicine theory, six syndromes of GAD were defined. These included depressed liver qi transforming into fire, phlegm-heat harassing the heart, liver depression and spleen deficiency, heart-kidney non-interaction, dual deficiency of the heart and spleen, and kidney deficiency and liver yang hyperactivity. Based on the results, the draft of Syndrome Diagnostic Criteria for Generalized Anxiety Disorder was developed. CONCLUSION: Data mining techniques such as Bayes net and cluster analysis have certain future potential for establishing syndrome models and analyzing syndrome discipline, thus they are suitable for the research of syndrome differentiation.

Abstract: 通过对2006年6、8和10月在长江口及邻近海域3次调查采集样品的分析,对该水域的高营养层次生物群落的功能群组成及其变化进行了研究.结果表明:长江口及邻近海域高营养层次生物群落包括鱼食性、蟹食性、虾食性、底栖动物食性、浮游生物食性和广食性6个功能群.由于受海洋环境变化以及鱼类洄游活动的影响,各月份长江口及邻近海域高营养层次生物群落的组成及营养级都有较大的变化.6月高营养层次以鱼类、毛虾类和蟹类为主,以浮游生物食性功能群为主要功能群,营养级最低,为3.06;8月高营养层次以鱼类为主,虾食性功能群为主要功能群,营养级达到最高,为3.78;10月高营养层次虽仍以鱼类为主,虾蟹类比例增大,功能群以浮游动物食性和底栖动物食性功能群为主,营养级为3.58.

Abstract: Based on data from survey carried out in spring 2005, the biomass size spectra of net plankton were explored in the adjacent sea of Yangtze River Estuary. Results revealed an approximately continuous size distribution of plankton individuals, from phytoplankton (5–250 μm cell 1 in equivalent sphere diameter (ESD), 15 pg–146 ng C cell 1) to zooplankton (120 μm–2 cm ESD, 115 ng–7.5 mg C ind 1). The normalized spectra (carbon scale) were linear with slope ranged from –0.889 to –0.445, and intercept ranged from 12.866 to 16.863 (all stations together, slope = –0.606, intercept = 19.448), indicating strong deviations from the ideal value (slope = –1.22) of a steady pelagic ecosystem. Correlation analysis presented that intercept and regression coefficient of net plankton size spectra had significant relationship with plankton biomass size diversity.

Abstract: By calculating the vibrational entropy change during hole transition for Fe-center, it is shown that the acceptor state of Fe-center is antibonding; The enthalpy and Gibbs free energy change and their temperature dependence caused by hole transition are calculated and compared with experimental data. From the results, it is reasonably well understood that activation energy obtained by thermal emission rate for Fe-center is always larger than that from optical measurement.

Abstract: Ge-doped GaAs single crystals have been grown by liquid-encapsulated Czochralski method in absence and presence of a magnetic field of 4000Gauss. By means of high op-tical efficiency photoluminescence, spectra of the grown crystals at room temperature were obtained, which consist of two emission bands A and B at 1.39-1.42eV and 0.97-1.05eV, respectively. Comparing the photoluminescence mappings with microphotographs of etched wafers, Hall effect results and electron probe microanalyses of the n- and p-type crystals with different Ge concentrations, we considered that the emission bands A and B originate from Ge-related acceptor and donor complexes, respectively. The complexes were formed during crystal growth, mainly due to temperature fluctuations in molten Ge-doped GaAs. The concentrations and homogeneities of the defects can be improved by the application of a magnetic field during crystal growth to suppress the temperature fluctuation.

Abstract: 20-hydroxyecdysone (20E) and juvenile hormone (JH) signaling pathways interact to mediate insect development, but the mechanism of this interaction is poorly understood. Here, a calponin homologue domain (Chd) containing protein (HaCal) is reported to play a key role in the cross talk between 20E and JH signaling by varying its phosphorylation. Chd is known as an actin binding domain present in many proteins including some signaling proteins. Using an epidermal cell line (HaEpi), HaCal was found to be up-regulated by either 20E or the JH analog methoprene (JHA). 20E induced rapid phosphorylation of HaCal whereas no phosphorylation occurred with JHA. HaCal could be quickly translocated into the nuclei through 20E or JH signaling but interacted with USP1 only under the mediation of JHA. Knockdown of HaCal by RNAi blocked the 20E inducibility of USP1, PKC and HR3, and also blocked the JHA inducibility of USP1, PKC and JHi. After gene silencing of HaCal by ingestion of dsHaCal expressed by Escherichia coli, the larval development was arrested and the gene expression of USP1, PKC, HR3 and JHi were blocked. These composite data suggest that HaCal plays roles in hormonal signaling by quickly transferring into nucleus to function as a phosphorylated form in the 20E pathway and as a non-phosphorylated form interacting with USP1 in the JH pathway to facilitate 20E or JH signaling cascade, in short, by switching its phosphorylation status to regulate insect development.

Abstract: 在分离式霍普金森压杆实验装置上进行了花岗岩破坏的动静组合加载实验.通过对受载后岩样破碎块度进行筛分统计,得到了该加载条件下岩石破碎的粒度分布.在此基础上,通过理论计算公式,进一步得到了相应的破碎分形维数,分别探讨了静载荷和冲击载荷对分维数的影响.结果表明,动静组合加载作用下花岗岩破碎分维值在2.0~2.8之间;相同静载不同动载下,花岗岩的破碎分维值与试样的应变率有关,随应变率增大而增大;而在相同冲击动载下,静载荷变化对分形维数的影响不大.
