Research on Community Evolution Discovery Based on Clique Percolation

Abstract: Clique percolation method has been used in many cases for discovering overlapping communities. However, its result is largely affected by parameters; as community size or cohesion changes the parameters needed shift accordingly. To overcome the dependency on parameters, in this paper we propose an approach for community evolution discovery based on community tree constructed by clique percolation. A community tree provides a hierarchical structure of communities discovered under a range of parameters in a given network; related community states can be found by searching a series of community trees thus the life span of a community can be discovered. We apply it to the word association network from DBLP data set and analyze how each community evolves. The outcome shows that this approach can effectively discover the community evolution process and identify the changes in size, membership and intensity. It's also observed that communities of different size have different evolving characteristic features.
Trust Computing Based on Probability Theory in Unstructured P2P Network

Abstract: Trust plays an important role in determining who and how to interact in open and dynamic P2P network.To this end,a trust mechanism for unstructured P2P network was proposed in which peers evaluate the trust based on beta probability distribution and aggregate the reputation with Gossip algorithm.The experimental data shows that our way can autonomously deal with the biased information and identify trust belief with low overhead and better efficiency.
A computational trust model based on MAS in E-commerce

Abstract: Some trust problems come into being due to the dynamic and uncertain characteristics of E-commerce. Therefore, a computational trust model based on multi-Agent (MAS) was proposed to deal with the trust relationship in E-commerce. Compared with the present available trust model, this proposed one can deal with the fraud information independently. Meanwhile, aging factor was introduced to evaluate the trust relationship between agents. Simulation experiments demonstrate that the introduction of aging factor and trust precision can help evaluate the trust relationship more efficiently. What's more, the ontological property of trust was also considered in this model.
An E-Book Recommender System with Collaborative Filtering

Abstract: Collaborative filtering and content-based filtering are the most common information filtering technology in recommender system. Collaborative filtering is becoming the popular one and has been used widely because of its good quality. But traditional collaborative filtering algorithm has the shortcomings of sparsity,scalability and synonymy. In this paper,we present a new collaborative filtering algorithm base on the column-vector of the evaluations matrix for an e-book recommender system in the digital library. The algorithm computes the similarity of books instead of the shailarity of users,which can remarkably alleviate the workload. Our experiments suggest that the algorithm provides better performance than user-based algorithm.
A Model for Automated Trade Negotiation in Retail Electronic Market

Abstract: This paper develops a bilateral multi-issue negotiation model for trade negotiation in retail electronic market.In particular,based on the notion of principled negotiation approach,the model uses prioritized fuzzy constraints to re- present the trade-offs between different possible values of the negotiation issues about performance,and adopts multi- attribute utility theory to represent the trade-off between price and performance.The formal definitions of both buyer Agent and seller Agent are put forward,and the algorithms of their behaviors and strategies are illuminated.At last, the possible results of negotiation are analyzed.

Abstract: With the development of Internet, real-time and fast IP address classifications have been applied to more and more services. After analyzing the binary-Trie tree, an algorithm of IP address classification bases on 256-branch search tree is introduced. The analysis shows that this algorithm is prior in time and is acceptable in space.
