EVALUATION OF PHARMACOKINETIC PARAMETERS OF SOLID DISPERSIONS OF PIROXICAM

Abstract: Dissolution rate and dissolution efficiency of poorly soluble non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs) could be markedly enhanced by solid dispersion technologies. Solid dispersions ofpiroxicam (PRX) are subjected to in vivo pharmacokinetic evaluation to evaluate whether these systems improve oral bioavailability of the piroxicam. All the pharmacokinetic parameters of absorption, namely Ka, Cmax, Tmax, percent absorbed to various times and AUC indicated rapid absorption and higher bioavailability of piroxicam when administered as solid dispersion. The absorption rate constant (Ka) was found to be 1.56 hr-1 in the case of piroxicam-CC-PVP soliddispersion. Where as in the case of piroxicam Ka was only 0.87 hr-1. An increase of 2.16 fold in Ka was observed with piroxicam-Croscarmellose-Polyvenyl pyrollidine (PRX-CC-PVP) solid dispersion. AUC (extent of absorption) was also much higher in the case of piroxicam solid dispersion when compared to piroxicam. [AUC]0-12h was increased from 55.58 μg-hr/ml for piroxicam to 56.21 μg-hr/ml for piroxicam solid dispersion . Both Ka and AUC were markedlyincreased by solid dispersion. Thus, the results of pharmacokinetic studies indicated rapid and higher oral absorption of piroxicam when administered as CC-PVP solid dispersion.
IN-VIVO PHARMACOKINETIC STUDIES OF SOLID DISPERSIONS OF CELECOXIB

The absorption rateconstant (Ka) was found to be 3.5526hr-1 in the case of celecoxib-Croscarmellose-Poly venyl pyrrolidine (C-CC-PVP) solid dispersion. Where as in the case of celecoxib Ka was only 0.412 hr-1.An increase of 8.6 fold in Ka was observed with celecoxib-CC-PVP solid dispersion. AUC (extent of absorption) was also much higher in the case of celecoxib -CC-PVP solid dispersion when compared to celecoxib. [AUC]0-12h was increased from 91.54 ng-hr/ml for celecoxib to 587.13 nghr/ml for celecoxib-CC-PVP solid dispersion . Both Ka and AUC were markedly increased by CCPVP solid dispersion . Thus, the results of pharmacokinetic studies indicated rapid and higher oralabsorption of celecoxib when administered as CC-PVP solid dispersion.
A NOVEL DESIGN OF LOW COST REAL TIME VEHICLE NAVIGATION SYSTEM

Abstract: A low cost GPRS based vehicle navigation system is developed using ARM processor for real time application. The main core of the system is an embedded hardware along with Java/J2EE. The embedded device communicates with GSM network which is accessible from anywhere .This system eliminates large maintenance. In PC, Java programming is used for getting the data from serial port and given to the database (SQLSERVER).In the front end, programming code is written in J2EE.The latitudes and longitudes are received through GSM network and stored in the data base .With the help of these values the vehicle avigation can be seen on google map.

Abstract: The presently developed paper deals with the concepts of web based online expert systems and machine learning Algorithms in the field of Artificial Intelligence. An expert system follows the methodology of task-based specification and it is independent in case of problem solving. Where as, the machine learning technique is used to find the good optimal solution. This paper mainly focuses on the investigations on the diseases and treatment to the diseases which were effected to the chilli plants by using the mechanism of Rule based system and Artificial Bee Colony1 (ABC) algorithm. The rules in the database is processed by the rule based system and if the required rules are not present in the database, then the system goes to the Machine learning algorithm technique used expert system. Thus, by applying machine learning techniques, resulting to best global optimized solution for recognizing the diseases in chilli plants. This expert system is a web based online application for online users with java as front end and MySQL as backend.
Improved Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm based Expert System on Nephrology

Abstract: Expert system Nephrology is a computer program that exhibits, within a specific domain, a degree of expertise in problem solving that is comparable to that of a human expert. The knowledge base consistsof information about a particular problem area. This information is collected from domain experts (doctors). This system mainly contains two modules one is Information System and the other is Expert Advisory system. The Information System contains the static information about different diseases and drugs in the field of Nephrology. This information system helps the patients /users to know about the problems related to kidneys. The Nephrology Advisory system helps the Patients /users to get the required and suitable advice depending on their queries. This medical expert system is developedusing Java Server Pages (JSP) as front-end and MYSQL database as Backend in such a way that all the activities are carried out in a user-friendly manner. Improved Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm (ACO) along with RETE algorithm is also used for better results.

Abstract: A/D conversion at an early stage plays an important role for achieving such flexibility at the receiver. Analogto-Digital-Converter (ADC) constitutes a necessary component for the implementation of Software Defined- Radio (SDR) receiver. The goal of this paper is to present the behavioral models, implemented in the Matlab/Simulink environment. The SDR toolbox allows us to simulate at behavioral level most of the switched-capacitor (SC) sigma-delta (∑ ) Modulator non-idealities, such as sampling jitter, kT/C noise and operational amplifier limitations (finite bandwidth, finite DC gain, slew rate and saturation). Although very effective in simulating wide-band, medium-resolution !" converters the lack of a model for flicker noise and multi-bit quantizers makes this toolbox less attractive for simulating narrow band high resolution converters. The proposed extension not only fixes this limitation, but introduces a predictive model of the effect of capacitor mismatch in the internal multi-bit D/A converter.
A Web Based Sweet Orange Crop Expert System using Rule Based System and Artificial Bee Colony Optimization Algorithm

Abstract: Citrus fruits have a prominent place among popular and exclusively grown tropical and sub-tropical fruits. Their nature ,multifold nutritional and medicinal values have made them so important. Sweet Orange Crop expert advisory system is aimed at a collaborative venture with eminent Agriculture Scientist and Experts in the area of Sweet Orange Plantation with an excellent team of computer Engineers, Programmers and designers. This Expert System contains two main parts one is Sweet Orange Information System and the other is Sweet Orange Crop Expert System where information system, the user can get all the static information about different species, Diseases, Symptoms, chemical controls, Preventions, Pests, Virus of Sweet Orange fruits and plants. In Advisory System , the user is having an interaction with the expert system online; the user has to answer the questions asked by the Expert System. Depends on the response by the user the expert system decides the disease and displays its control measureof disease. This Sweet Orange Crop Information Expert System deals with different varieties of Sweet Crop, Identification of various diseases generally occurs to Sweet Orange crop based on the symptoms.
FORMULATION STUDIES ON CYCLODEXTRIN COMPLEXES OF MELOXICAM

Abstract: b-Cyclodextrin (b-CD) and HP-b-Cyclodextrin (HP-b-CD) inclusion complexes of meloxicam (M)exhibited higher dissolution rates and dissolution efficiency values than the corresponding uncomplexeddrug. The feasibility of formulating the b-cyclodextrin and HP-b-cyclodextrin complexes of meloxicam (1:3) into tablet dosage forms is evaluated. Solid inclusion complexes of meloxicam prepared by kneading method were formulated into tablets by wet granulation anddirect compression methods. All the tablets formulated employing b-cyclodextrin and HP-b-cyclodextrin complexes of meloxicam gave rapid and higher dissolution rates of when compared tothat of meloxicam plain tablets. All the prepared tablets fulfilled the official (I.P.) disintegration time specification of uncoated tablets. Overall, tablets prepared by direct compression methoddisintegrate rapidly when compared to those prepared by wet granulation method. Analysis of dissolution data as per zero-order and first – order kinetic models indicated that the dissolution ofmeloxicam from all the tablets followed first-order kinetics. In both direct compression and wet granulation methods, tablets formulated employing cyclodextrin complexes (MT2, MT3, MT5,MT6) gave higher rates of dissolution (K1) and dissolution efficiency (DE30) values when compared to the corresponding tablets formulated with meloxicam as such (MT1, MT4). Among all the meloxicam tablets formulated, formulation MT2, which is based on M- βCD (1:3) kneadedcomplex, gave highest dissolution. A 25.66 fold increase in the dissolution rate of meloxicam was observed with MT2 when compared to its plain tablets ( MT1).
PLC BASED RATIO CONTROLLER AND MATERIAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

Abstract: Automation in an industry using programmable logic controller (PLC) can be enumerated by optimizing the use of process control equipment, decreases the response time for process and equipment contingencies, provides information about process status, manages process logic at the plant floor level and increases overall productivity and plant efficiency. The primary reason for designing such a system is to eliminate large cost involved in replacing complicated relay based machine control system & to reduce process time. Ratio control system is feed forward system where one variable is controlled in ratio to another to satisfy some higher level objectives. Two difference chemicals are supplied from different tanks in proper ratio by maintaining the flow of quantity. Then desired mixture is obtained &checks the ratio of composition if any unbalanced, controlled by controlled values of supply tanks. Then this mixture is distributed as per requirements. In Industries for ten machines, total cycle time with existing PLC based system is 75 sec. But our modified PLC based system total cycle time is improved as 45 sec. Hence total reach time of distribution system is improved.
