Extracting the Prevailed Patterns in Recognizing the Picture by the Human Vision

Abstract: We have tried to present the most matched approaches with which the vision dose through numerous studying the segment fields and recognizing the picture. Here we define external pictures features as the prevailed picture features and then extract the locust point of minus decline and among these points. Of minus decline and among these points we have defined the points which match with the human vision specifications according to the defined factors in this research such as clarification sharpness roundness and adjacency and used them as copied systems. We have reviewed our proposed patterns for truth, correctness and validity through performing two empirical tests.
Tratamento de águas Eutróficas usando o Processo Eletrolítico

Abstract: In eutrophic lakes and reservoirs the green – blue algae bloom contributes to increase the chlorophyll “a” concentration, deteriorates the water quality with anaerobic conditions in the deepest waters and provokes scum formation among other impacts. Due to the occurrence of irregular nitrification events in the waters of the polluted urban lake, A ude Velho which is located in Campina Grande, PB during the dry season, it was analyzed the performance of the electrolytic process in treating these waters. For the electrolysis treatment it was built, in laboratory scale, a 2 liters reactor where it was inserted an electrolytical assemblage made of steel and aluminum sheets. Samples were obtained in eight sampling points in the lake. The following physical, chemical and organic parameters were obtained: color, turbidity, pH, Alkalinity, calcium, chloride, nitrate, total phosphorus and chlorophyll “a”. After 15 minutes of electrolysis, it was applied 45 minutes of sedimentation to the effluent. The results showed that the alumen production by ion pairing with the water sulphate concentration provoked the water impurities flotation. It was also observed a total denitrification (100% nitrate removal) with N2 liberation to the environment. Phosphorus and chlorophyll “a” removal was also significant.

Abstract: 高粱啤酒作为一种营养丰富、口感独特的无麸质酒精饮料,具有广阔的发展前景。为研制品质优良的高粱啤酒,本研究以高粱芽为原料,分别对糖化工艺对高粱汁中总还原糖和α-氨基氮量的影响;发酵工艺对高级醇含量的影响以及发酵后不同澄清剂对高粱啤酒的澄清效果和色度的影响进行了研究。结果表明:高粱汁制备的最佳糖化方法为倾出糖化法,糖化条件为:浸酶温度35 ℃,浸酶时间20 min,糊化温度90 ℃,糊化时间30 min,糖化温度65 ℃,糖化时间1 h,糖化后高粱芽汁的总还原糖含量为83.23 g/L,α-氨基氮含量适中,为180.8 mg/L。高粱啤酒的最佳发酵条件为:高粱芽汁浓度12 °P、酵母菌接种量2.0×107个/mL、发酵温度16 ℃,发酵后啤酒中的高级醇含量为109.09 mg/L,该条件可有效降低高级醇含量。最佳的澄清剂为皂土,当添加比例为0.9%时,透光率达到90%,高粱啤酒的澄清效果最佳。在此工艺条件下,酿造出的上面发酵高粱啤酒澄清透明、色泽鲜亮、口感独特,高级醇含量适宜,是一种风味独特的新型酒精饮品。
Sorghum beer is a nutrient-rich and gluten-free alcoholic drink with unique taste, and has broad prospects for development. To develop good-quality sorghum beer, sorghum malt was used as a raw material to study the effects of the mashing process on the content of total reducing sugars and α-amino nitrogen in sorghum wort, the effects of fermentation conditions on the production of higher alcohols, and the effects of different clarifiers on the clarity and color of sorghum beer after fermentation. The results showed that the optimal mashing method was decantation, and the detailed process condition was as follows: lixiviation at 35?C for 20 min, pasting at 90?C for 30 min, and saccharification at 65?C for one hour. The content of total reducing sugar in sorghum wort produced by the above techniques was 83.23 g/L, while the content of α-amino nitrogen was moderate and the final content was 180.8 mg/L. The optimum fermentation conditions were determined as follows: sorghum wort concentration: 12 °P, the quantity of inoculated yeast: 2.0 × 107 cells/mL, fermentation temperature: 16?C. The content of higher alcohols was 109.09 mg/L in sorghum beer, and these fermentation conditions could effectively reduce the content of higher alcohols. In addition, the best clarifier was bentonite, and when the proportion of added clarifier was 0.9%, the light transmittance was 90% and the best clarification effect of sorghum beer was achieved. Under this brewing condition, the top-fermented sorghum beer obtained was clear, had a bright color, unique taste, and moderate content of higher alcohols, and was a new type of alcoholic beverage with a unique flavor.

Abstract: this work studied the pretreatment of sugarcane molasses (cm) and corn steep liquor (cs) for the production of carotenoids by sporidiobolus salmonicolor (cbs 2636). the acid pretreatment removed less micronutrients than that with activated carbon and led to high removals of cu and mn. reduction in optical density of the prepared medium and removal of glucose from it were 22% and 7% for cm and 95% and 38% for cs, respectively. total carotenoids obtained with substrates pretreated with acids (541 mg/l) were higher than the results obtained when the medium was treated with activated carbon (208 mg/l).

Abstract: Value clarification: A Trojan horse in South African schools? This article entails an analysis of and a critical reflection on the value clarification approach to value-education. Questions that need to be answered are inter alia: Is value clarification perhaps an approach that offers an answer to the problem of moral pluralism in South Africa? What are the potential dangers of this approach? The origins of this approach are traced back to humanism, humanistic education and the human potential movement. It is suggested that the value clarification approach can lead to moral subjectivism, problem- and process-centredness and an overemphasis of personal emotions. Potential dangers of this approach for South Africa, where a lack of common values exists, are also highlighted. These dangers include individualism, relativism, narcissism, an egocentric “me first” attitude and the overall unacceptability of value neutrality in an educational situation, as well as of the absence of virtues and character and lack of recognition of social and historical concience. From a Biblical-educational point of view the approach of value clarification is unacceptable because of its humanistic basis. This article contains a warning for parents and teachers not to accept the value clarification approach to moral education as an easy solution to the moral threat in South African schools, but rather to see it as a potentially dangerous approach that could in fact contribute to the moral decline and erosion of authentic values.
Chemical Analyses of Palm Kernel Oil-Based Polyurethane Prepolymer  [PDF]

Abstract: Polyurethane (PU) was prepared from palm kernel oil-based monoester polyol (PKO-p) via prepolymerization method at NCO/OH ratio of 200/100, 150/100, 100/100, and 75/100 at ambient temperature under nitrogen gas atmosphere. The structure of the synthesized prepolymerized PKO-p PU was determined using FTIR and 13C NMR. The disapperance of NCO peak in the FTIR spectrum at 2270 cm–1 - 2250 cm–1 cm showed that MDI has completely reacted to form PU. The appearance of C=O peak at 1700 cm–1 indicated that hydrogen bonding was formed between the soft segmented chain of the PKO-p and the hard segmented MDI. Hence, urethane bond was the main polymeric chain in the PU.
A Preliminary Version of an Internet-Based Picture Naming Test  [PDF]

Abstract: The study presents a web-based productive vocabulary assessment tool, the internet Picture Naming Test (iPNT). The iPNT is administered online and takes eight minutes to complete. The iPNT assesses vocabulary knowledge by rating participants’ responses to 120 colored drawings of simple objects. Participants type the names of the objects and the names are saved as a computer file that can be uploaded into statistical software for further processing. The test is rated by comparing participants’ responses against a list of correct labels. High test-retest reliability suggests that iPNT can be considered a reliable measure. The study evaluates convergent validity of the iPNT by comparing its scores with paper-based and oral versions of the same test and concurrent validity by comparing its scores with that of receptive Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test, a language aptitude Cloze test, standard admission Test of English as a Foreign Language, and DIALANG diagnostic tool. Highly significant correlations between the scores on these tests and iPNT scores suggest that the latter is a suitable assessment tool for language proficiency. However, the moderate correlation values ranging from .52 to .68 indicate that the use of this test should be limited to psychometric research assessing an individual’s productive vocabulary knowledge.

Abstract: Simulated signal, produced by digital to analog converter, is important and necessary in many fields, such as electronic experiment, equipment debugging and maintenance, especially, in medical area. In this paper, the design and application of an effective software which may be used to generate simulated signal data by special wave picture obtained by scanner or drawing software are presented. First, we introduce how to realize producing needed data that meet the given conditions including amplitude, samples and resolution by this software. Second, the method and steps of getting the stimulated signal data from wave figure file is given. Third, an example of application about this software to generate simulated physiological signal data is shown. Then, the data are put into use and by digital to analog converter, an idea stimulated signal is produced. Therefore, with full confidence, we could draw a conclusion that it is very convenient and effective to get needed data for digital to analog conversion to generate all kinds simulated signal with a novel method.
