NURE Investigación , 2012,
Abstract: Introduction: The nursing diagnostic "Fatigue in the performance of the roll of caregiver "have thirty and three definitories characteristics. The test of Zarit is not including between these definitories characteristics but an indicating faithful of the fatigue of the caretaker has demonstrate To analyze as they are the characteristics definitorias, including the Zarit, that better they predict the diagnostic "Fatigue in the performance roll del caregiver" in primary attention. Material and methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study Population: the total of the 57 caregivers of the immobilized patients. The collection of data was made by means of interview structured to the caretakers with the Zarit and the definitories characteristics of I diagnose fatigue roll of the caregiver. Descriptive, unvaried and multivariate statistical analysis was made with the statistical package Spss.10.0. Results: The final model of the logistic regression to value the variable predictors of the fatigue caregiver roll was the made up of positive the Zarit variables and the distintive characteristic preocupation by the cares with exactitude of 95.6% with one p> =0,001. Conclusions: These results could suggest the implantation of the Zarit like distintive characteristic as well as reduce to the number of characteristics definitorias.

Abstract: This article presents the results of the analysis of 103 alcohol-related texts published from January to June, 2009, by four Spanish newspapers: El País (22), El Mundo (35), Abc (24), and La Razón (22). Two methods were used to examine the representation of alcohol: structural analysis based on Kayser’s model (1982) and content analysis based on framing theory. The latter method has been used to examine the journalistic treatment of biotechnology (Durant, Bauer, and Gaskell, 1998; Nisbet, M.C., Brossard, and Kroepsch, 2003; Rodríguez-Luque, 2009), which has been adapted to examine the subject of drugs (Paricio, 2010). A reliability of 90% was achieved in the Cohen’s Kappa coefficient test for the 67 variables examined in this study. The genre most dedicated to the subject of alcohol was news articles (66.9%), whose main theme was related conflict (19 texts), particularly the consequences of drunk driving (9 texts). The most used frames by journalists were, in decreasing order, crime (identified in 62 texts), new research results (in 11 texts), and epidemiology (in 15 texts). However, only few texts were dedicated to the prevention of alcohol consumption (a theme in only 4.85% of the sample) and the legal institutions dedicated to this activity (2.91%).

Abstract: invasive fungal infections are an increasingly common problem in patients with cancer and other vulnerable groups. we report a case of hepatosplenic hialohifomycosis probably by aspergillus sp. in a patient with acute leukemia, and prolonged neutropenia, treated with corticosteroids and broad spectrum antibiotics. a review concerning diagnosis, clinical course and treatment of this condition is presented. Abstract: Background Sperm cryopreservation has become an indispensable tool in biology. Initially, studies were aimed towards the development of efficient freezing protocols in different species that would allow for an efficient storage of semen samples for long periods of time, ensuring its viability. Nowadays, it is widely known that an important individual component exists in the cryoresistance of semen, and efforts are aimed at identifying those sperm characteristics that may allow us to predict this cryoresistance. This knowledge would lead, ultimately, to the design of optimized freezing protocols for the sperm characteristics of each male. Methodology/Principal Findings We have evaluated the changes that occur in the sperm head dimensions throughout the cryopreservation process. We have found three different patterns of response, each of one related to a different sperm quality at thawing. We have been able to characterize males based on these patterns. For each male, its pattern remained constant among different ejaculates. This latter would imply that males always respond in the same way to freezing, giving even more importance to this sperm feature. Conclusions/Significance Changes in the sperm head during cryopreservation process have resulted useful to identify the ability of semen of males for freezing. We suggest that analyses of these response patterns would represent an important tool to characterize the cryoresistance of males when implemented within breeding programs. We also propose follow-up experiments to examine the outcomes of the use of different freezing protocols depending on the pattern of response of males.
