Pertille, José Pinheiro
Veritas , 2011,
This paper aims to present the meaning of the Hegelian conception of rational State, based on a comparative reading of the Science of Logic and the Philosophy of Right. In this way, the specificity of the State’s rational aspect appears through the comprehension of the concepts of reality, actuality, understanding, dialectical reason and speculative reason, from its logical meanings to its enlargement toward the extent of objective spirit. The systematic comprehension of this central aspect of Hegel’s ethical State may contribute with the researches in political philosophy and philosophy of right, since it highlights the role of institutions in the mediation between individual consciousness and legal, social and political instances, which is proper of Hegel’s concept of reason.

Brazilian Journal of Physical Therapy , 2012,
Abstract: BACKGROUND: The aging process and its associated morphophysiological changes trigger a reduction in the regenerative ability of the satellite cells, a reduction of vascular tissue and an increase in the production of fibroblasts, developing a cellular environment unfavorable for muscle regeneration. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of low-level laser therapy on the muscle regeneration of old experimental rat models after contusion. METHOD: A total of 25 old rats,18 months old, were divided into three groups: control group (CT) without treatment; injury group (IN) with muscle contusion and without treatment and laser group (LA) with contusion and low-level laser therapy, 830 nm, 30 mW e 4 J/cm2. The no invasive contusion was induced in the Tibialis Anterior muscle and the samples were collected after 7 and 21 treatment sessions. The muscle was evaluated by Light Microscopy and Immunoblotting. RESULTS: After 21 days of treatment there was a significant reduction in the areas of inflammation/regeneration of the LA 21 group compared to IN 21 group. The cross-sectional area of the fibers in regeneration was not statistically different between the groups. Molecular analysis showed that the content of MyoD was statistically reduced in the IN 21 group compared to the CT group. The Myogenin content was increased in the IN 21 group compared to the CT group. Ultimately, the content of TGF-β1 on the IN 21 group was higher when compared to the CT group. CONCLUSION: Considering the parameters used, the laser therapy demonstrated to be effective for muscle regeneration in old rats, however only through its anti-inflammatory effect.

Abstract: The aim of this study was to evaluate the development of technical and tactical skills resulting from the methodological approaches used for the teaching-learning-training process of male infant volleyball players. Thirty athletes and their coaches, responsible for two teams from Santa Catarina (Brazil) experienced in the formation of athletes, participated in the study. The groups analyzed were submitted to pre- and post-tests for the evaluation of technical and tactical skills. The procedures used were the evaluation of technical-tactical actions of the players in the games and systematic observation of typical weeks of technical-tactical training. Descriptive statistics (mean, percentage, frequency and standard deviation) was used applying the Mann-Whitney U test and Wilcoxon test, with the level of significance set at p<0.05. The methodological approaches used by the coaches were similar in terms of notion of refinement and appliance, and differed in terms of notion of progressions. The results indicate that the development of technical-tactical skills of the athletes seems to depend more on the time spent for training of actions than on the concepts and methodologies implemented in the training. The process of teaching-learning-training used by the teams was able to improve the level of technical-tactical skills of the athletes. However, no significant differences in the development of technical-tactical skills of the athletes were observed between the methodological approaches adopted by the coa ches during this process. Future studies are necessary to analyze the verbal behavior and specific strategies adopted by the coaches for the development of tactical skills in volleyball.

Abstract: background: gastrointestinal stromal tumors (gists) are an uncommon mesenchymal neoplasm affecting the gi tract. the synchronous occurrence of mesenchymal tumors and other primary gastrointestinal malignancies have been rarely reported in the literature. case report: a 61 year-old female patient came to our department complaining of diffuse abdominal pain, which had begun 2 years ago. at physical examination a mass with approximately 10 cm, located in the upper abdomen, was palpable. a ct scan demonstrated a mass in contact with the greater gastric curvature without lymphnodal enlargement. at endoscopy, no lesions were seen in the greater curvature, but a 2,0 cm mucosal lesion was visualized in the upper portion of the lesser curvature. the biopsy of the lesion in the lesser curvature was positive for adenocarcinoma. an endoscopic ultrasound was performed and demonstrated that the lesion in the lesser curvature was restricted to the gastric muscular layer and the mass in the greater curvature was originated from the gastric fourth ultrasonographic layer (muscular). the patient was submitted to a total gastrectomy with d2 lymphadenectomy and a y of roux esophago-jejunal anastomosis. the pathological exam demonstrated that the lesion in the lesser curvature was a microtubular adenocarcinoma restricted to the muscular layer. the lesion in the greater curvature was a high grade gist. the final tnm stage was t2n1m0. the patient recovery was uneventful being discharged from the hospital after 11 days. conclusion: the synchronous occurrence of gists and other gastrointestinal malignanies is more common than has been considered. although the synchronous occurrence of gist and other abdominal malignancies seems to be just a coincidence, the development of these tumors may involve common carcinogenic agents.
