A New System of Generalized Nonlinear Mixed Variational Inclusions in Banach Spaces

Abstract: We introduce and study a new system of generalized nonlinear mixed variational inclusions in real -uniformly smooth Banach spaces. We prove the existence and uniqueness of solution and the convergence of some new -step iterative algorithms with or without mixed errors for this system of generalized nonlinear mixed variational inclusions. The results in this paper unify, extend, and improve some known results in literature.

Abstract: We introduce a new model of the system of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems with upper semicontinuous set-valued maps and present several existence results of a solution for this system of generalized vector quasi-equilibrium problems and its special cases. The results in this paper extend and improve some results in the literature.
Effect of short-range interaction for collision of ultracold dipoles

Abstract: We consider the low-energy scattering of two ultracold polarized dipoles with both a short-range interaction (SRI) and a weak dipole-dipole interaction (DDI) which is far away from shape-resonances. In previous analytical studies, the scattering amplitude in this system was often calculated via the first-order Born approximation (FBA). Our results show that significant derivations from this approximation can arise in some cases. In these cases, the SRI can significantly modify the inter-dipole scattering amplitudes even if the scattering amplitudes for the SRI alone are much smaller than the dipolar length of the DDI. We further obtain approximate analytical expressions for these inter-dipole scattering amplitudes.

Abstract: Power cable joint is the weak link of power system’s safe operation, it is important significance to real-time master the operating temperature of power cable joint for the safety of the power system. This paper adopts wireless technology to design the temperature monitoring system of power cable joint. Monitoring terminal collection temperature data located in each power cable joint collects the measured data in the cable branch boxthrough the near distance micro-consumption electronic wireless technology to data concentrators located at the bottom of the cable branch box, then transmits to the monitoring center through CAN bus network. The system realizes the low cost and on-line reliable monitoring of power cable point temperature of the urban cable branch box.
Suppression of two-body collisional loss in an ultracold gas via the Fano effect

Abstract: The Fano effect (U. Fano, Phys. Rev. \textbf{15},1866 (1961) shows that an inelastic scattering process can be suppressed when the output channel (OC) is coupled to an isolated bound state. In this paper we investigate the application of this effect for the suppression of two-body collisional losses of ultracold atoms. The Fano effect is originally derived via a first-order perturbation treatment for coupling between the incident channel (IC) and the OC. We generalize the Fano effect to systems with arbitrarily strong IC--OC couplings. We analytically prove that, in a system with one IC and one OC, when the inter-atomic interaction potentials are real functions of the inter-atomic distance, the exact s-wave inelastic scattering amplitude can always be suppressed to \emph{zero} by coupling between the IC or the OC (or both of them) and an extra isolated bound state. We further show that when the low-energy inelastic collision between two ultracold atoms is suppressed by this effect, the real part of the elastic scattering length between the atoms is still possible to be much larger than the range of inter-atomic interaction.In addition, when open scattering channels are coupled to two bound states, with the help of the Fano effect, independent control of the elastic and inelastic scattering amplitudes of two ultracold atoms can be achieved. Possible experimental realizations of our scheme are also discussed.

The application of some MVS operations (each dimension of which corresponds to a capability indicator) in system capability analysis and design, including capability indicator requirement analysis, effectiveness analysis, sensibility analysis, fuzzy analysis, stability analysis, capability optimization design, etc., is discussed in the second paper of this series of papers. And some MVS-based models and algorithms for capability analysis and design are put forward. Finally, an example of capability analysis and optimization design is given for explaining the usages of related models and algorithms.

Monotonic vector space (MVS), as a novel model in which there exist some monotonic mappings, is proposed. MVS model is an abstract of many practical problems (such as image processing, system capability engineering, etc.) and includes many useful important operations. This paper, as the first one of series papers, discusses the MVS framework, relative important concepts and important operations including partition, synthesis, screening, sampling, etc. And algorithms for these operations are the focus of this paper. The application of these operations in system capability engineering will be dealt with in the second part of this series of papers.

Abstract: Recently, more and more people born in the 1980s and 1990s have stepped out of the ivory tower and entered the workplace. This group becomes more and more important in today’s workplace; they bring new energy to the society. However, due to the differences in their growing background, some of their characteristics are increasingly recognized by managers. Complaining, job-hopping, emphasizing ego and lack of sense of responsibility are marked on this young group, which have created obstacles for managers to carry out their works. Aiming at such a young group, the limitation of the traditional system management has already appeared. In this paper, by analyzing on characteristics of new generation employees, author proposes a new idea of human resource management for the new generation employees, which is from the perspective of resource based view, not only to help enterprises to obtain sustainable competitive advantage, but also to provide a new direction for the management of new generation employees.

A Microcontroller Interface for Embedded Non-volatile Memory on Micro Mirror Projector ASIC Calibration

Abstract: This paper presents a digital controller interface for an non-volatile memory (NVM) IP [1] which is part of an embedded 8051 microprocessor system. The embedded microprocessor system is targeted to be integrated as part of a micro mirror projection ASIC for MEMS scanner control and sensing [2]. The NVM memory controller interface with the storage of NVM is used to calibrate the position of micro mirror MEMS on the fly during the projection scanning mode, and store and load the configuration parameters for ASIC module initialization during power up stage. The design has been fabricated with 0.18 μm CMOS process and measurement result proves the full function of the design concept.
