Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Research of Goal Attainment of Green Transportation Development Policy —Take Dongguan “Motorcycle Ban” Policy as an Example  [PDF]

Abstract: Launching the evaluation research of green transportation can grasp the green transportation implementation accurately and diagnose the existing problems. From the perspective of green transportation, this research chose Dongguan “motorcycle ban” policy as the research object, and constructed secondary evaluation index system in transportation and environmental harmony, transportation and future harmony, transportation and society harmony, transportation and resource harmony, four dimensions. Then it used fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model to do the evaluation and found that the policy’s positive effect on the Dongguan green transportation development was average. Finally, based on the evaluation results, measures and advices were proposed.

Abstract: A new method of establishing the dynamic equations of the multi-rigid-body system with tree-structure and the ball-joints is proposed. With the help of the dynamics of constrained system and the differential geometry, the concept of "generalized body" is put forward to replace the sub-system of the multi-rigid body system. By the extension of the generalized body, the recursive algorithm of the establishment of the dynamic equations of the constrained system is derived.

Abstract: The unstructured logistic models were applied to simulate the kinetic process of the SCP batch culture with two species of yeast,in which glucose,xylose or a mixture of glucose and xylose were used as carbon sources. A modified logistic growth model was used to describe the fed-batch process by using of mixed carbon sources. The model parameters were simulated with the experimental data. The simulated curves by the models were in good agreement with the experimental data.

Abstract: The batch and fed-batch processes of single cell protein (SCP) cultivation were studied with double carbon sources (glucose xylose). The effects of various operation conditions, such as temperature, ratio of carbon and nitrogen, initial total reduced sugars and aeration mode, on batch SCP cultivation were'examined. Based on the results of batch process, a fed-batch process was proposed. The maximum dried cell density in the broth can reach as high as 48. 0g/L.

Abstract: In terms of reel-lay installation in deep water, studies on the pipeline during the process of tensioning have been completed based on theories of risk and reliability analysis and Ergonomics. Qualitative risk results, including minimum cut sets, structural importance and probability expression of system failure, are obtained from fault tree analysis. Also, quantitative risk results, mainly consisting of failure probability and reliability index of pipeline plastic deformation, are worked out through Monte Carlo simulation. Simultaneously, scientific suggestions based on Ergonomics are provided. Conclusions drawn from this paper can, to some extent, provide certain references for reel-lay installation in deep water.
Dynamical Models for Infectious Diseases with Varying Population Size and Vaccinations

Abstract: We formulate and discuss models for the spread of infectious diseases with variable population sizes and vaccinations on the susceptible individuals. First, we assume that the susceptible individuals are vaccinated continuously. We establish the threshold-like results for the existence and global stability of the disease-free and the endemic equilibriums for these systems. Especially, we prove the global stability of the endemic equilibriums by converting the systems into integrodifferential equations. Second, we suppose that vaccinations occur once per time period. We obtain the existence and global stability of the disease-free periodic solutions for such systems with impulsive effects. By a useful bifurcation theorem, we acquire the existence of the endemic periodic solutions when the disease-related deaths do not occur. At last, we compare the results with vaccinations and without vaccinations and illustrate our results by numerical simulations.
Personalized Pathway Enrichment Map of Putative Cancer Genes from Next Generation Sequencing Data

Abstract: Background Pathway analysis of a set of genes represents an important area in large-scale omic data analysis. However, the application of traditional pathway enrichment methods to next-generation sequencing (NGS) data is prone to several potential biases, including genomic/genetic factors (e.g., the particular disease and gene length) and environmental factors (e.g., personal life-style and frequency and dosage of exposure to mutagens). Therefore, novel methods are urgently needed for these new data types, especially for individual-specific genome data. Methodology In this study, we proposed a novel method for the pathway analysis of NGS mutation data by explicitly taking into account the gene-wise mutation rate. We estimated the gene-wise mutation rate based on the individual-specific background mutation rate along with the gene length. Taking the mutation rate as a weight for each gene, our weighted resampling strategy builds the null distribution for each pathway while matching the gene length patterns. The empirical P value obtained then provides an adjusted statistical evaluation. Principal Findings/Conclusions We demonstrated our weighted resampling method to a lung adenocarcinomas dataset and a glioblastoma dataset, and compared it to other widely applied methods. By explicitly adjusting gene-length, the weighted resampling method performs as well as the standard methods for significant pathways with strong evidence. Importantly, our method could effectively reject many marginally significant pathways detected by standard methods, including several long-gene-based, cancer-unrelated pathways. We further demonstrated that by reducing such biases, pathway crosstalk for each individual and pathway co-mutation map across multiple individuals can be objectively explored and evaluated. This method performs pathway analysis in a sample-centered fashion, and provides an alternative way for accurate analysis of cancer-personalized genomes. It can be extended to other types of genomic data (genotyping and methylation) that have similar bias problems.

Abstract: IBM所得出之SSME(Services Sciences, Management, and Engineering)實為圖書情報機構的創新服務。服務是一種創造與獲取價值的人與人之間的互動。服務科學與服務創新是兩個不同的概念,卻具有緊密的聯繫。服務科學包含了服務創新,而服務創新是「服務科學」的一個重要內容,也是實現「服務科學」的一個重要途徑。因此,在「服務科學」的背景下,傳統的服務創新方式已難以滿足用戶的需求。圖書情報機構要實現「以人為中心」,就要實現體驗型服務和專業化服務;而要實現「創造價值」,則需要實現創新型服務。最後,文章以上海圖書館為實例,對圖書情報機構實現服務創新進行了解釋說明。 SSME (Service Sciences, Management, and Engineering), a concept created by IBM, is essentially the same as service innovation for library and information institutions. When service is provided, it brings interaction between people, in which value is created and acquired. “Service science” and “service innovation” are two different concepts, but are closely related to each other. Service science includes service innovation; on the other hand, service innovation is one of the important concepts of service science and it also is an important way of realizing service science. Under the notion of service science, the old methods of traditional service can no longer meet the needs of the user. Therefore, library and information institutions should provide experience service and professional service to realize the people-centered service and implement innovation service to create value. In the end of this paper, the example of Shanghai Library is given to illustrate the viewpoints of the authors.
