Morte e memória: a necrofilia política da A o Integralista Brasileira (AIB) Death and memory: the politics necrophilia of A o Integralista Brasileira (AIB)
Pedro Ernesto Fagundes
Varia Historia , 2012,
The aim of this work is to analyze the performance of the political party named Brazilian Integalist Action the construction of his gallery of political martyrs. This party came into existence after the unification of innumerable movements and organizations that gathered together in 1932, and became one of the most important political parties during the 1930’s. During the years of 1932-1937, the integralists managed to form groups in almost all the regions of the country, and attract millions of supporters. The article analyzes how political rituals of IBA collaborated in the construction of memory integralist movement. We will use the concept of memory, from Jacques Le Goff, and places of memory, from Pierre Nora.

Pedro Ernesto Fagundes
Revista Espa?o Acadêmico , 2009,
Abstract: A revolu o sandinista na Nicarágua completa 30 anos.
Morphoanatomy and ontogeny of fruit in Bromeliaceae species
Fagundes, Natividad Ferreira;Mariath, Jorge Ernesto de Araujo;
Acta Botanica Brasilica , 2010, DOI: 10.1590/S0102-33062010000300020
Abstract: this study aims to give an overall view of fruit structure in bromeliaceae, since these studies are extremely scarce in this family, showing the morphology, anatomy and ontogeny of fruits of six species belonging to six different genera, representing three subfamilies. all species studied have a tricarpellary and trilocular ovary, with an obturator covering the placental region. dyckia maritima, pitcairnia flammea, tillandsia aeranthos and vriesea carinata have capsular fruits (septicidal or biscidal), characterized mainly by the presence of macrosclereids in the exocarp or endocarp, fibers in the ventral region of the carpels, six dehiscence lines and three vascular bundles in each carpel. aechmea calyculata and billbergia nutans have fruits classified as berries, presenting exocarp and hypodermis as mechanical layers and many vascular bundles in each carpel. many useful characters for taxonomy of bromeliaceae were revealed, so fruits are excellent tools for delimitation of genera and subfamilies. in relation to bromeliaceae capsules, macrosclereids are conspicuous structures of the pericarp and fruit anatomy is greatly related to dehiscence type. the u-shaped cell wall thickenings are a very common character in this family and can be identified as structures also occurring in monocot fruits.
Salem, Pedro;Coelho Junior, Nelson Ernesto;
Estudos de Psicologia (Natal) , 2010, DOI: 10.1590/S1413-294X2010000200008
Abstract: this article is based on the assumption that the processes of the constitution of subjectivity as well as the epistemological thesis on the origins of the self have gone through important changes in the last decades. regarding personal identities, this fact is expressed by the decreasing value of the idea that the mental life corresponds to a private and intimate psychic space. in the epistemological sphere, several disciplines have been challenging the equivalence between mental life and psychological interiority, and have been proposing new descriptions of the origins of the self that have been focusing the concepts of embodiment and action. considering the notions of representation and action as main tools to account for different conceptions of subjectivity, this article examines an internalist model of the psychic life in contrast to another one that describes the self as an embodied agent.
Cariaga Martínez,Ariel Ernesto; Darío Zapata,Pedro;
Educación Médica , 2006, DOI: 10.4321/S1575-18132006000500002
Abstract: the great scientific and technological advances of recent decades have brought biological investigation into the postgenomic age. the ready availability of crucial information for the development of new projects has caused a paradigm shift in biological investigation, in which a solid training in bioinformatics is now a basic requirement. this study presents the results of the incorporation of a self-guided practical program to introduce students of clinical biochemistry to the use of bioinformatic resources. the activities comprised genomic, transcriptomic and proteomic analysis of a gene with biomedical implications. the design of specific primers for the amplification of a fragment of the gene was proposed as a technological application. the rasmol program, version 2.7.2 (" by herbert bernstein 1998-2000) was used to analyses biological functions. in groups of three or four, students studying cellular and molecular biology as part of their degree in biochemistry at the national university of misiones were asked to provide concrete answers to questions using bioinformatic analysis. the results showed that 100% of the students were able to answer all the questions. however, a wider-ranging treatment of molecular visualization programs is needed for future applications.
Dissociation of molecular aggregates under high hydrostatic pressure: the influence of water structure on Benzene cluster solubility
Gon?alves, Arlan S.;Caffarena, Ernesto R.;Pascutti, Pedro G.;
Journal of the Brazilian Chemical Society , 2009, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-50532009000700005
Abstract: in some critical conditions water can solvate hydrophobic molecules, becoming a powerful solvent for nonpolar agents. to discuss the pressure effect on hydrated benzene clusters we carried out six consecutive 5000 ps (pico seconds) molecular dynamics simulations of benzene molecules in water cubic boxes at different pressure conditions, ranging from 1 bar to 5 kbar. radius of gyration, diffusion coefficient, radial atomic pair distribution functions, number of hydrogen bonds between water molecules and the solvent accessible surface were monitored. results showed that above 3 kbar the second hydration layer structure vanishes and the benzene clusters start to break up gradually. up to 2 kbar, the solubility and diffusion of benzene molecules are inversely proportional to the increase of the pressure and above 3 kbar this behavior is inverted.
