Abstract: In the present paper, the theoretical frame work of magneto hydrodynamics (MHD) is used to give a solution of the problem about the origin, persistence and disappearance of the Sunspots; as well as their tendency to appear as bipolar magnetic couples. According to the results obtained, a possible explanation about the change of polarity in both solar hemispheres is given. Heuristic but logical arguments about the periodicity of the phenomenon of the observed magnetic polarity and the tendency of couples of Sunspots to appear solely in certain latitudes that can be called tropical regions of the Sun are presented. Finally, an indirect experimental test is proposed to show the possible process that produces the polarity of the Sunspots in a given cycle, as well as the invertion of that polarity in the next solar cycle.

Abstract: The theoretical frame developed by A. S. Eddington is used in this paper in order to study the problem of internal structure and stars stability. A new hypothesis is developed that consists of assuming that at early stage of their evolution, all gaseous stars generate an intense magnetic field whose mission is to contribute to their stability. A simple methodology is shown to calculate the magnitude of the self-generated magnetic field at any point of the star, and diagrams are built for two specific cases, where the way in which this field varies from the center to the surface can be seen. Finally, the problem of the Cepheid type variables is studied obtaining an expression for the oscillation period carried out from the differential equation of the simple harmonic movement in terms of the appropriate parameters of the star.

Abstract: In the general theory of relativity, the fundamental metric tensor plays a special role, which has its physical basis in the peculiar aspects of gravitation. The fundamental property of gravitational fields provides the possibility of establishing an analogy between the motion in a gravitational field and the motion in any external field considered as a noninertial system of reference. Thus, the properties of the motion in a noninertial frame are the same as those in an inertial system in the presence of a gravitational field. In other words, a noninertial frame of reference is equivalent to a certain gravitational field. This is known as the principle of equivalence. From the mathematical viewpoint, the same special role can be played by the small deformation strain tensor, which describes the geometrical properties of any region deformed because of the effect of some external agent. It can be proved that, from that tensor, all the mathematical structures needed in the general theory of relativity can be constructed.

Abstract: In this paper a solution to the problem of the self-generated magnetic field of the Earth is pro-posed. The solution is based on the existence of a steady-state current distribution localized in some region inside the convective zone of the planet, constituted by the fluid Outer Core. The magnitude of the self-generated magnetic field is obtained and it is shown to be a dipolar field.

Abstract: The theoretical framework developed by A.S. Eddington for the study of the inner structure and stability of the stars has been modified by the author and used in this work to show that knowing the effective temperature and the absolute magnitude, the basic parameters of any gaseous star can be calculated. On the other hand, a possible theoretical explanation of the Hertzsprung-Russel Diagram is presented.

Abstract: The differences in age at initiation and the duration of HRT are key points. HRT appears to decrease coronary disease in younger women, near menopause; yet, in older women, HRT increases risk of a coronary event. Although HRT is a recognized method in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, it is not licensed for the prevention of osteoporosis as a first-line treatment. The effectiveness of low and ultra-low estrogen doses has been demonstrated for the treatment of vasomotor symptoms, genital atrophy and the prevention of bone loss, with fewer side-effects than the standard dose therapy. Further research, however, is needed to determine the effect both on fractures, as well as on cardiovascular and breast diseases. Newer progestins show effects that are remarkably different from those of other assays. The effectiveness of testosterone at improving both sexual desire and response in surgically and naturally postmenopausal women is shown by the testosterone patch.The intention, dose and regimen of HRT need to be individualized, based on the principle of choosing the lowest appropriate dose in relation to the severity of symptoms and the time and menopause age.By 2030, an estimated 47 million women will be undergoing menopause each year [1]. The loss of circulating estrogens that occurs during the menopausal transition manifests itself through a variety of symptoms (hot flushes, night sweats and vaginal atrophy). Approximately 75–80% of women experience menopausal symptoms, almost half of whom find the symptoms distressing, while 20–30% have severe symptoms [2,3].For decades, estrogen, either alone or in combination with progestins, has been the therapy of choice for the relief of menopausal symptoms, as well as for the longer-term prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis [3]. Abstract: i think about ethiopia and i am not clear how to start, a mixture of feelings and a lot of information is surrounding me? the life and death can stay so close that any experience has a special tone. named abissinia as well, ethiopia is still today a mythic land. due to "lucy" australopithecus afarensis finding, it is acknowledged like the starting point of human being. in addition, it is one of the developing countries with core health indicators under world′ standard line and a "fresh health system" which still doesn?t cover properly the population?s needs. like another country in this situation, the ethiopian look for a mixture of traditional medicine vs western one, meanwhile the national policies are trying of reach the aims and outlines fixed in the world. like a result, there is an interesting landscape to any public health specialist and/or someone who can be interested in abroad sanitarian status.

Abstract: calcium is a key nutrient in bone health and for the prevention of osteoporosis, a serious public health problem. it is estimated that 200 million people have osteoporosis. calcium is necessary throughout all the stages in life. in childhood, calcium is needed to avoid deficiency and establish healthy habits for the future. in adolescence, calcium is key for the development of peak bone mass, the maximum point for accumulation within the genetic potential. failure to reach this peak significantly increases the risk of osteoporosis later in life. in the reproductive stage, calcium is still important to maintain bone mass and avoid loss. around menopause, the rapid bone loss stage, calcium is still important to replace the lost calcium, although bone mass does not respond well to calcium supplementation. after approximately 5 years of menopause, calcium supplementation favors bone mass and moderately decreases fracture risk, as in the elderly. calcium requirement is affected by various factors such as age, sex, physical activity, race, genetics and several dietetic factors. therefore, establishing its requirement is not an easy task. conventionally, three methods have been used to establish calcium requirement, factorial, balance or functional methods. since they have their limitations, all three methods should be considered when establishing calcium requirements, as well as considering other nutrients important in bone health. calcium recommendations vary considerably among different countries and by age group. as in other countries, calcium recommendations in venezuela were revised and increased based on the dietary recommendations of united states. it is urgent that epidemiological and clinical studies be done in venezuelans to determine if these levels are adequate.
