Abstract: Objective: To observe the effects of Yiqi Kaimi Recipe (YQKMR), a traditional Chinese compound medicine, on gastrointestinal motility and neuropeptides in rats with colonic slow transit constipation.Methods: Eighty specific pathogen free rats were included, and there were sixty rats with slow transit constipation (STC) and twenty normal rats. Sixty rats with STC were randomly divided into untreated group, cisapride-treated group and YQKMR-treated group, and twenty normal rats were allocated to normal control group. Percentage of carbon propelling, contraction frequency and amplitude of the muscle segments in vitro, and expressions of nitric oxide synthase-1 (NOS1) and substance P proteins were observed.Results: Compared with the normal control group, the percentage of carbon propelling, and the contraction frequency and amplitude of the muscle segments in the untreated group decreased obviously (P<0.05). The percentage of carbon propelling, and the contraction frequency and amplitude of the muscle segments in the YQKMR-treated group and cisapride-treated group were higher than those in the untreated group (P<0.05). The expression of NOS1 protein in the untreated group was higher than that in the normal control group, YQKMR-treated group and cisapride-treated group. However, there were no significant differences between the YQKMR-treated group and the normal control group (P>0.05). The expression of substance P protein in the untreated group was lower than that in the normal control group, and there was no significant difference between the YQKMR-treated group and the normal control group too (P>0.05).Conclusion: Yiqi Kaimi Recipe could promote colon motility by increasing the contraction frequency and amplitude of the smooth muscle, and this may be due to its effect of regulating the expressions of NOS1 and substance P proteins in the enteric plexus.
Design characteristics of clinical surgery trial based on treatment program of tunnel thread-drawing method for anal fistula: a prospective randomized controlled multicenter trial

Abstract: Background: Basic principles of clinical trials of nonpharmacologic treatment are similar to those of pharmacologic treatment, but its some special characteristics should be discussed.Objective: To explore the design characteristics of clinical surgery trial through the example of tunnel thread-drawing therapy for simple anal fistula.Design, setting, participants and interventions: The clinical trial was designed as a prospective, controlled, randomized multicenter trial. The patients came from Longhua Hospital, Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and Affiliated Hospital of Jianxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Stratified random was performed according to the subtype of anal fistula including low and high anal fistula. Full analysis set was applied to analyze the baseline data, and per protocol set was used in efficacy and safety analysis. The intervention was tunnel thread-drawing method. Classical therapy of thread-drawing method was employed as positive control.Main outcome measures: The primary outcomes were course of recovery and cure rate. Quality of life score was used as secondary outcome and anal maximum constriction pressure was considered as safety outcome.Results: Optimal efficiency testing method was used to estimate sample size. A total of 244 subjects were recruited and 236 subjects completed the trial. There was no significant difference in the cure rate of the low and high anal fistula between the treatment group and control group. There was a significant difference in the course of recovery in the patients with low and high anal fistula between treatment group and control group (P<0.01). To the patients with low anal fistula, the course of recovery in the treatment group was (22.26±8.67) d, and the course of recovery in the control group was (31.41±11.39) d. To the patients with high anal fistula, the course of recovery in the treatment group was (24.73±8.15) d, and the course of recovery in the control group was (32.20±12.60) d. There was no significant difference in the scores of quality of life in the patients with low anal fistula between the treatment group and control group (P>0.05). The trial showed that the tunnel thread-drawing therapy was significantly more effective than classical method for improving the anal sphincter function and patient satisfaction with treatment in the patients with high anal fistula. Abstract: The mangrove endophytic fungus Aspergillus terreus (No. GX7-3B) was cultivated in potato dextrose liquid medium, and one rare thiophene compound ( 1), together with anhydrojavanicin ( 2), 8- O-methylbostrycoidin ( 3), 8- O-methyljavanicin ( 4), botryosphaerone D ( 5), 6-ethyl-5-hydroxy-3,7-dimethoxynaphthoquinone ( 6), 3β,5α-dihydroxy-(22 E,24 R)-ergosta-7,22-dien-6-one ( 7), 3β,5α,14α-trihydroxy-(22 E,24 R)-ergosta-7, 22-dien-6-one ( 8), NGA0187 ( 9) and beauvericin ( 10), were isolated. Their structures were elucidated by analysis of spectroscopic data. This is the first report of a natural origin for compound 6. Moreover, compounds 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 10 were obtained from marine microorganism for the first time. In the bioactive assays in vitro, compounds 2, 3, 9 and 10 displayed remarkable inhibiting actions against α-acetylcholinesterase (AChE) with IC 50 values 2.01, 6.71, 1.89, and 3.09 μM, respectively. Furthermore, in the cytotoxicity assays, compounds 7 and 10 exhibited strong or moderate cytotoxic activities against MCF-7, A549, Hela and KB cell lines with IC 50 values 4.98 and 2.02 (MCF-7), 1.95 and 0.82 (A549), 0.68 and 1.14 (Hela), and 1.50 and 1.10 μM (KB), respectively; compound 8 had weak inhibitory activities against these tumor cell lines; compounds 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 9 exhibited no inhibitory activities against them.
Cultivation of Students’ Self-Study Ability in Computer and Classroom Teaching Mode

Abstract: Since the innovation of college English teaching, the cultivation of students’ self-study ability has become a target of the New Requirements for College English Teaching. As one of the country’s 180 experimental academies chosen by National Education Commission, our college adopts the teaching mode of combing classroom teaching and computer-based self-study system. Through the practice of students of grades 2004 and 2005, we can see that the comprehensive application ability of the students does not improve largely. Most students do not satisfy the oral English requirements of common standard. Their self-study ability is insufficient. In this paper, my opinion on how to cultivate students’ English self-study ability in the computer and classroom teaching mode will be given. Key words: computer and classroom teaching mode, self-study, metacognition, constructivism Résumé: Depuis la réforme de l’enseignement de l’anglais universitaire, la formation de la capacité d’apprendre par soi-même est déjà devenue un des objectifs du Programme. En tant qu’une des 180 écoles-pilotes élus par la Commission d’Etat de l’Education, notre école adopte le modèle d’enseignement combinant l’enseignement en classe et le système d’auto-apprentissage assité par l’ordinateur. La réalité des deux promotions 2004 et 2005 montre que l’élévation de la capacité d’application générale des élèves n’est pas sensible et que le niveau oral de la plupart des élèves ne répond pas à la demande générale. Les élèves sont peu aptes à apprendre par eux-mêmes. Dans l’article présent, l’auteur va présenter ses points de vue personnels sur la formation de la capacité d’auto-apprentissage de l’anglais des élèves, avec l’aide de l’ordinateur et le modèle d’enseignement en classe. Abstract: This study aims to probe into the core competencies, as should be possessed by the managerial work forces of firms, from the perspective of employers’ in small and medium enterprises. The findings can serve as references for planning core courses of employee training and labor employment. Based on the research purposes, this study adopted revised DACUM, conducted literature review, and applied a questionnaire survey. The subjects were the members of SMEs Honor Instructor Association of Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan, and the Society of Management Science. Random sampling was used, with the number of employees as the units. The valid return rate was 24.2%. After testing goodness of fit of K-S single samples, this study found that a corporate management work force should have 11 items of core competencies, and 35 items of secondary competency.
3D Geology Modeling from 2D Prospecting Line Profile Map  [PDF]

Abstract: Using prospecting line profile map in combination with drilling and other information for 3D reconstruction of geological model is an important method of 3D geological modeling.This paperdiscusses the theory and implementation method of 2D prospecting line map into 3D prospecting line map and then into 3D model. The authors propose that it needs twice upgrading dimension to reconstruction 3D geology model from prospecting line profile map. The first upgrading dimension is to convert profile from 2D into 3D profile,i.e.the 2D points in the 2D profile map upgrading dimensional transformation to 3D points in a 3D profile. The second upgrading dimension is that transform 0D point 1D curve and 2D polygon feature into 1D curve, 2D surface and 3D solid feature. The paper reexamines contents and forms in prospecting line map from the two different viewpoints of geology and geographic information science. The process of 3D geology modeling from 2D prospecting map is summarized as follows. Firstly, profile is divided into several sections by beginning, end and drill point of the prospecting line. Next, a 3D folded upright profile frame is built by 2D folded prospecting line on the plan map. Then, 2D points of features on 2D profile are converted into 3D points on 3D profile section by section. And then, adding switch control points for the long line crossover two segments. Lastly, 1D curve features are upgraded to 2D surface.

Abstract: Structural chromosome aberrations are known hallmarks of many solid tumors. In the papillary form of thyroid cancer (PTC), for example, activation of the receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) genes, RET and neurotrophic tyrosine kinase receptor type I (NTRK1) by intra- and interchromosomal rearrangements has been suggested as a cause of the disease. However, many phenotypically similar tumors do not carry an activated RET or NTRK-1 gene or express abnormal ret or NTRK-1 transcripts. Thus, we hypothesize that other cellular RTK-type genes are aberrantly expressed in these tumors. Using fluorescence in situ hybridization-based methods, we are studying karyotype changes in a relatively rare subgroup of PTCs, i.e., tumors that arose in children following the 1986 nuclear accident in Chernobyl, Ukraine. Here, we report our technical developments and progress in deciphering complex chromosome aberrations in case S48TK, an aggressively growing PTC cell line, which shows an unusual high number of unbalanced translocations.

It furnished the mathematic model of transect of wood cell, put forward the signification and method of the simulation software of wood cell.
