EMPIRICAL STUDY ON FOOD CONSUMPTION IN WESTERN-TRANSDANUBIAN REGION – CHANGES IN HUNGARY

Abstract: Our research concentrates on the dairy, meat and bakery products’ consumption in the Western-Transdanubian Region and its consumers’ motivations. The liquid milk consumption is above the average of the product group. It is followed by the butter, ripened cheeses and fruit yoghurts which take precedence over traditionally Hungarian sour cream. Poultry and pork consumption are above the beef consumption in the region. It can be stated that white bread is the most preferred bakeries product; its consumption surpasses the consumption of all other products of the product group. The most important point of view is the taste, the quality and the price of the product. Consumers lay almost the same stress on wholesomeness which is ranked on the fourth position. The producer and its national character are among the last motivations.

Abstract: Let S be a fixed symmetric finite subset of SL_d(O_K) that generates a Zariski dense subgroup of SL_d(O_K) when we consider it as an algebraic group over Q by restriction of scalars. We prove that the Cayley graphs of SL_d(O_K/I) with respect to the projections of S is an expander family if I ranges over square-free ideals of O_K if d=2 and K is an arbitrary numberfield, or if d=3 and K=Q.
The Veldkamp space of multiple qubits

Abstract: We introduce a point-line incidence geometry in which the commutation relations of the real Pauli group of multiple qubits are fully encoded. Its points are pairs of Pauli operators differing in sign and each line contains three pairwise commuting operators any of which is the product of the other two (up to sign). We study the properties of its Veldkamp space enabling us to identify subsets of operators which are distinguished from the geometric point of view. These are geometric hyperplanes and pairwise intersections thereof. Among the geometric hyperplanes one can find the set of self-dual operators with respect to the Wootters spin-flip operation well-known from studies concerning multiqubit entanglement measures. In the two- and three-qubit cases a class of hyperplanes gives rise to Mermin squares and other generalized quadrangles. In the three-qubit case the hyperplane with points corresponding to the 27 Wootters self-dual operators is just the underlying geometry of the E6(6) symmetric entropy formula describing black holes and strings in five dimensions.
Three fermions with six single particle states can be entangled in two inequivalent ways

Abstract: Using a generalization of Cayley's hyperdeterminant as a new measure of tripartite fermionic entanglement we obtain the SLOCC classification of three-fermion systems with six single particle states. A special subclass of such three-fermion systems is shown to have the same properties as the well-known three-qubit ones. Our results can be presented in a unified way using Freudenthal triple systems based on cubic Jordan algebras. For systems with an arbitrary number of fermions and single particle states we propose the Pl\"ucker relations as a sufficient and necessary condition of separability.
Special entangled quantum systems and the Freudenthal construction

Abstract: We consider special quantum systems containing both distinguishable and identical constituents. It is shown that for these systems the Freudenthal construction based on cubic Jordan algebras naturally defines entanglement measures invariant under the group of stochastic local operations and classical communication (SLOCC). For this type of multipartite entanglement the SLOCC classes can be explicitly given. These results enable further explicit constructions of multiqubit entanglement measures for distinguishable constituents by embedding them into identical fermionic ones. We also prove that the Plucker relations for the embedding system provide a sufficient and necessary condition for the separability of the embedded one. We argue that this embedding procedure can be regarded as a convenient representation for quantum systems of particles which are really indistinguishable but for some reason they are not in the same state of some inner degree of freedom.

Abstract: in a series of articles i reflect on the use of various expressions which are connected to what we call the political in the inscriptions of the classic maya western region. these words express ideas and concepts which help to understand the intricate details of the interactions between the political entities and their internal organisations in the classic maya lowlands. in this article i investigate the meaning of emblem glyphs. i suggest that originally they were toponyms but later on they became titles of origin which indicated descendance from a common origin place.

Abstract: The present paper investigates the methodological relation between psycholinguistic experiments and conceptual metaphor theory. By analysing metaphor experiments I argue that narrowing down psycholinguistic experiments to a corroborative, that is, verifying function induces many problems in conceptual metaphor theory. The paper presents the emerging problems through sample analyses and suggests the introduction of methodological principles through the observance of which these problems could be eliminated from research. By applying the suggested principles the paper finally argues for the integrative use of experimental and linguistic devices.
