Abstract: The topic was chosen due to the fact that, although agricultural insurance is particularly needed in agriculture to achieve performance, its achievements are still modest. The importance of this research is in that it tackles a very important sector of the economy, agriculture, and puts forward an immediate viable solution that meets the current needs of farmers. The contribution of the authors is their innovative solution, namely the proposition to implement expert systems in agricultural insurance, as a means of promoting insurance products which, although they are not currently granted the due importance, have started to be acknowledged increasingly in recent times. The interest in this type of insurance is due to the recent climate changes whose effects are extremely damaging, and to the need to improve agricultural competitiveness on the common market as a result of trade liberalization in agricultural products. The scientific literature in the field of expert systems highlights the benefits of implementing systems in all areas of economic and social activity, including insurance and agriculture, but it does not deal separately with the issue of agricultural insurance, despite its importance in the development of agriculture. This confirms the topicality of the study. Regarding the scientific methodology, in order to easily understand how expert systems work also by those who are not familiar with the field, we opted to present the stages of preparation of the system, namely: (a) preparing the knowledge database, (2) preparing the charts and (3) system encoding and assessment. The research results, at the conceptual level, confirm the need for agricultural insurance expert systems because of the benefits it would create (ease of use, informing farmers about the existence and importance of agricultural insurance, increasing demand for such type of insurance, which would also lead to the development of agriculture, to the creation of insurance products tailored to farmers needs) and refers to the authorities that should be appointed to implement these systems.

Annals of the University of Oradea : Economic Science , 2010,
Abstract: The experience of the developed countries has shown that it is completely delusional to try and create a modern agriculture without the powerful development of agricultural insurances. Agriculture has always been one of the most important economic branches in Romania, as it has the highest value of all European countries by GDP (8-12%). This field represents an important direction in the economic development, especially due to the high potential of the agricultural development in the E.U. countries. The present paper tries to illustrate the potential of agricultural insurances, their necessity, the general presentation of the domestic agricultural insurance market and that of the European Unions as well as the search for viable solutions of development in agriculture by the aid of insurances.

Abstract: Dichlorvos (DDVP), is a toxic pesticide which contaminates the surface and even the ground waters. In this paper was studied the photosensitized degradation of dichlorvos (DDVP) in presence of H2Oe under UV irradiation. It was established a pseudo-first order kinetics in respect to DDVP degradation, Cl- release and PO4-3 liberation and calculated their rate constants. It was also showed the role of H2O2 concentration.

Revista Romana de Economie , 2011,
Abstract: In Romania, employment is a priority, significant efforts being made to adapt the Romanian system to the European Employment Strategy for labor force distribution. In this respect, in order to harmonize several aspects of employment in Romania with those from the EU, the Romanian Government has launched a series of programs designed to improve the labor market in this period of economic crisis. These programs aim to promote and increase access of human resources to education and to quality initial and continuous professional training, seeking thus to develop a knowledge-based economy.
Directing RF Terminals using TELNET Applications
Georgiana Petruta Fintineanu
Annals. Computer Science Series , 2008,
Abstract: The present study aims to emphasize the way in which the TELNET protocol for directing the mobile terminals is used and works. The paper is structured in three parts: the first two parts are a theoretic presentation of the TELNET protocol, respectively of the mobile terminals. The third part contains an application of the way in which a mobile terminal can be programmed using the TELNET protocol.

Revista de Turism : Studii si Cercetari in Turism , 2011,
Abstract: There are few regions in Romania where ancestral traditions, costumes and ancient art are still preserved. Maramure is indeed the zone where they have managed to stay unaltered by modern influences. Thus, the tourism in Maramure is centred on the village and its folklore, exploited through rural tourism. The development of rural tourism in Maramure is mainly based on its diversified potential, but it is directly dependent on the accommodation offer available and on the methods of promoting it. Under these circumstances, our study aims at undertaking a comprehensive analysis of the existing accommodation units, of their distribution, and of the various ways of promoting tourist offers. The online tourist market in Maramure is rather developed and diversified in its product and service offer, due to the listing of accommodation units on many online portals. In order to help and guide users towards a well-defined goal through the chaos on the Internet, we suggest the implementation of expert systems within sites. Expert systems can bring many benefits to both consumers and tourist service providers.

Using Continuations to Account for Plural Quantification and Anaphora Binding
Dinu, Anca;
Polibits , 2012,
Abstract: we give in this paper an explicit formal account of plural semantics in the framework of continuation semantics introduced in [1]; and extended in [4]. we deal with aspects of plural dynamic semantics such as plural quantification, plural anaphora, conjunction and disjunction, distributivity and maximality conditions. those phenomena need no extra stipulations to be accounted for in this framework, because continuation semantics provides a unified account of scope-taking.
