On the Solution of One-Dimensional Ising Models  [PDF]
Yu. N. Kharchenko
Journal of Applied Mathematics and Physics (JAMP) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/jamp.2018.65082
Abstract: In this paper it is shown that the thermodynamic limit of the partition function of the statistical models under consideration on a one-dimensional lattice with an arbitrary finite number of interacting neighbors is expressed in terms of the principal eigenvalue of a matrix of finite size. The high sparseness of these matrices for any number of interactions makes it possible to perform an effective numerical analysis of the macro characteristics of these models.
What random variable generates a bounded potential?
N. Kartashov,Yu. Mishura
International Journal of Stochastic Analysis , 2004, DOI: 10.1155/s104895330420301x
Abstract: It is known that if a predictable nondecreasing process generates a bounded potential, then its final value satisfies the Garsia inequality. We prove the converse, that is, a random variable satisfying the Garsia inequality generates a bounded potential. We also propose some useful relations between the Garsia inequality and the Cramer conditions, and different ways how to construct a potential.
Scaling behaviour of exclusive reactions with the deuteron and 3He at high p_T in the Gev region
Uzikov, Yu. N.
High Energy Physics - Phenomenology , 2007,
Abstract: The scaling behaviour s^{-11} of the cross section of the reaction \gamma d-> pn observed at SLAC and Jlab at energies E_{\gamma}=1-4 GeV and large p_T most likely displays quark degrees of freedom in the deuteron. We show that the cross sections of the dd->3Hp and pd-> 3Hen reactions measured at SATURNE follow the scaling regime s{-22} at T_d= 0.5 -1.2 GeV and $\theta_{cm}=50^\circ-60^\circ$. A necessity to get new data on this and other exclusive reactions is argued.
Modern View of a Myocardium Restimulation in Patients with a Stable Stenocardia Combined with a Chronic Obstructive Disease of Lungs
N.Yu. Grigorieva
Sovremennye Tehnologii v Medicine , 2010,
Abstract: Aim of investigation is a study of the heart right and left department state as well as a central intracardiac hemodynamics in patients with a chronic ischemic heart disease (IHD) with attendant chronic obstructive disease of lungs (ChODL) according to the echodoplercardiography data.Materials and methods. 389 patients are examined. The 1st group is presented by patients with a stable stenocardia (SS) combined with a ChODL. The patients with a SS and ChODL were included into the 2nd and 3d groups respectively.Results. The heart left department sizes in patients of the 1st group were trustworthy greater than in the 2nd and 3d groups. The trustworthy signs of the left ventricle and interventricular septum hypertrophy are revealed in them. A statistically significant difference of the right auricle size in these patients compared to the 2nd group (p=0.003) and 3d group (p=0.005) is established. The left ventricle diastolic dysfunction signs were in patients of all the investigated groups. A pulmonary artery average pressure level in the 1st group was trustworthy higher than in the 2nd group (p<0.001) and 3d group (p=0.009).Conclusion. A more complicated reconstruction of the heart chambers, directed to their hypertrophy and dilatation, takes place at a stable stenocardia combined with a ChODL compared to isolated flow of these diseases; the more expressed alterations of the heart diastolic function appear, a pressure in a pulmonary artery system is increased.
Why are Most Filipino Workers in Japan Entertainers?: Perspectives from History and Law
Lydia N. Yu Jose
Kasarinlan : Philippine Journal of Third World Studies , 2007,
Abstract: This article traces the development of overseas Filipinos’ occupation in Japan from musician to “entertainer.” As it establishes the not so well-known fact that music has been the occupation of most Filipinos in Japan way back in the late nineteenth century, it elucidates the factors that brought about the phenomenon. Demand-supply and push-pull factors explain a great deal, but not all. Immigration laws of Japan do not provide a key to the phenomenon, but, as this article argues, they provide a large window toward understanding it. American influence on the Philippines and Japan is another factor that has impacted on the job configuration of Filipino workers in Japan. The United States introduced jazz into the Philippines and Japan. The Filipino musicians who entered Japan before World War II were trained by Americans in the Philippines. They were hired and brought to Japan by American recruiters and were appreciated by the Westernized Japanese. Again, in the 1950s and 1960s, Filipino musicians entered Japan—usually accompanied by their American recruiters—and entertained the Japanese who had embraced a second Americanization.
Method of a Cataract Tunnel Extraction at an Expressed Corticocapsular Adhesion
N.Yu. Belousova
Sovremennye Tehnologii v Medicine , 2010,
Abstract: Aim of investigation is an increase of the cataract tunnel extraction effectiveness by elaboration of the lens nucleus extraction new method at an expressed corticocapsular adhesion.Materials and methods. An extraction of the lens nucleus was made according to elaborated method, including a low diameter nucleus turning over to 180° with a subsequent extraction through a tunnel incision of a 6—8 mm fibrous capsule with a use of elaborated loop-cannula, in 50 patients with an age cataract, in which an expressed corticocapsular adhesion was intraoperationally diagnosed. The control group patients (also 50 humans) were operated according to a standard method of a cataract extracapsular extraction through a lumbar incision of 10—12 mm.Results. The significantly lower functional results are revealed in a control group of patients, than in experimental group: the average values of a visual acuity were 0.14±0.07 and 0.46±0.03, respectively, the average values of iatrogenic astigmatism were 1.73±0.06 and 0.82±0.08.
A regional level of integration processes: the opportunities for public-private partnership (the case of entrepresneurship)
Borodavkina N. Yu.
Vestnik Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University , 2013,
Abstract: This article explores the possibility of using the methods of public-private partnership (PPP) in integration processes, including those at a regional level. The author offers a typology of PPP projects and models of cooperation between business and authorities with regard to integration. The article describes specific practices of implementing PPP projects within foreign economic activity and attraction of foreign investors. The author formulates the priority tasks of developing interaction between public structures and business community.
Morphological changes in the membranogenic pulmonary edema after replacement surfactant therapy administration
Novikov N.Yu.
Морфолог?я , 2012,
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to establish the morphologic changes in development of membranogenic pulmo-nary edema without and after administration of replacement surfactant therapy. The object of study are morphologic changes in the respiratory part of lungs after administra tion of replacement surfactant therapy by medication "Suzakrin." Study of hematoxylin and eosin stained sections revealed that the administration of re-placed surfactant therapy had led to reducing the manifestations of the inflammation’s vascular component, to decreasing the frequency of hyaline membranes’ formation and also to proliferation of pneumocyte. In additi on it was found that 30% of patients with syndrome of an acute lung injury, who died after 14 days of disease, had morphologic signs of exudative phase of an acute respiratory distress syndrome. The administration of replacement surfactant therapy in patients with an acute lung injury syndrome can influence on the regeneration processes in the lungs’ respiratory part and morphogenesis of pneumofi-brosis.
