Abstract: The observed experimental parameters such as density (ρ), viscosity (η) and ultrasonic velocity (U) of ternaryliquid mixtures of substituted benzenes such as chlorobenzene, bromobenzene, nitrobenzene, ethylbenzene and tolueneadded in the fixed binary solvent mixtures of (ratio 4:2) acetophenone and 1-heptanol at 303.15, 308.15 and 313.15K weredetermined. The observed experimental data have been utilized to evaluate some of the excess thermo acousticalparameters such as adiabatic compressibility (βE), intermolecular free length (LfE), free volume (VfE), internal pressure (πiE),Gibb’s energy (ΔGE), viscosity (ηE) molar volume (VmE)and Grunberg’s Nissan interaction parameter (d). It is eventuallyobserved that weak molecular association between acetophenone and 1-heptanol is through hydrogen bonding andsubstituted benzenes through weak dipole-dipole interactions. The existence of formation of donor – acceptor complexes inthe present study has been identified and promptly discussed. Further, the impact due to the elevation of temperature onthese liquid systems has also been interpreted.

N. Kirubanandasarathy,K. Karthikeyan
Journal of Applied Sciences , 2013,
Abstract: In this study, an area-efficient low power FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) processor is proposed for MIMO-OFDM (Multi Input Multi Output-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) that consists of a modified architecture of radix-2 algorithm which is described as Radix-2 Multipath Delay Commutation (R2MDC). Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing is a popular method for high-data-rate wireless transmission. OFDM may be combined with multiple antennas at both the access point and mobile terminal to increase diversity gain and/or Enhance system capacity on a time-varying multi path fading channel, resulting in a multiple-input multiple-output OFDM system. This study described the VLSI design of R2MDC FFT for high throughput MIMO OFDM transceivers targeted to future wireless LAN systems. The proposed system is pipelined Radix 2 multipath delay commutation FFT has been designed for MIMO OFDM. The MIMO OFDM transceivers have been designed according to the proposed OFDM parameters. A low-power efficient and full-pipelined architecture enables the real-time operations of MIMO OFDM transceivers. The FPGA board has been developed to verify their circuit behavior and implementation of MIMO OFDM Transceivers.

Journal of Ceramics , 2013, DOI: 10.1155/2013/485317
Abstract: Quantitative analysis has been carried out in order to obtain more information about the structure of two glass systems, namely, (B2O3-MnO2-PbO) (BML glass system) and (B2O3-Na2CO3-P2O5) (BSP glass system). Their structural elucidation has been carried out by studying the ultrasonic velocities (longitudinal velocities and shear velocities ) and density of these glass samples. The present investigation has been interpreted by focusing more on elastic and mechanical properties of glass specimen through ultrasonic study and the elemental analysis study through spectroscopic studies. The scanning electron microscopic (SEM) study was also carried out with a view to throwing more light on their morphological aspects. The results are corroborated in the light of the role of borate (B2O3) glasses in the formation of glassy structural network. 1. Introduction The acoustical properties are particularly suitable for describing glasses as a function of composition because they give some information about both the microstructure and the dynamics of the glasses. The elastic properties are related to microscopic properties through the behavior of the network and the modifier. Attempts have been made to measure and interpret the acoustical properties of borate glasses in terms of structural changes [1–3]. Bahatti and Singh [4] discussed the composition dependence of ultrasonic velocity. The ultrasonic nondestructive testing has been found to be one of the best techniques to study the microstructure, characterization, mechanical properties, and phase changes as well as to evaluate elastic constants. One can also characterize the materials such as semiconducting glasses, superconducting glasses, glass ceramics and bioactive glasses by this nondestructive testing technique. The propagation of ultrasonic wave in solids such as glass provides valuable information regarding the solid state motion in the material. Interest in glasses has rapidly increased in recent years because of diverse applications in electronic, nuclear, solar energy and acoustooptic devices. The acoustic wave propagation in bulk glasses has been of considerable interest to understand the mechanical properties [5]. The velocity of sound is particularly suitable for characterising glasses as function of composition because it gives information about the microstructure and dynamics of glasses [6]. The study of elastic properties of the glasses has inspired many researches [7, 8] and significant information about the same has been obtained. The elastic moduli of glasses are influenced by the many physical

Int'l J. of Communications, Network and System Sciences (IJCNS) , 2010, DOI: 10.4236/ijcns.2010.37081
Abstract: Based on IEEE 802.15.4 Low Rate-Wireless Personal Area Network (LR-WPAN) standard, the Zigbee standard has been proposed to interconnect simple, low rate and battery powered wireless devices. The deployment of Zigbee network is expected to facilitate numerous applications such as Home-appliance networks, home healthcare, medical monitoring and environmental sensors. An effective routing scheme is more important for Zigbee mesh networks. In order to achieve effective routing in Zigbee Mesh networks, a Zigbee protocol module is realized using NS-2. The suitable routing for different data services in the Zigbee application layer and a best routing strategy for Zigbee mesh network are proposed. The simulation shows the selection of suitable routing for continuous data services and for bursting data services in the Zigbee application layer and the comparison of three routing strategies namely ERD (All packets Enable Route Discovery), SRD (All packets Suppress Route Discovery) and BOS (routing Based on Data Services) in the aspects of Efficiency and Overhead.

Circuits and Systems (CS) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/cs.2016.710253
Abstract: In large inter connected power systems, inter-area oscillations are turned to be a severe problem. Hence inter-area oscillations cause severe problems like damage to generators, reduce the power transfer capability of transmission lines, increase wear and tear on network components, increase line losses etc. This paper is to maintain the stability of system by damping inter-area oscillations. Implementation of new equipment consists of high power electronics based technologies such as FACTs and proper controller design has become an essential to provide better damping performance than Power System Stabilizer (PSS). With development of Wide Area Measurement System (WAMS), remote signals have become as feedback signals to design Wide Area Damping Controller (WADC) for FACTs devices. In this work, POD is applied to both SVC and SSSC. Simulation studies are carried out in Power System Analysis Toolbox (PSAT) environment to evaluate the effectiveness of the FACTs controller in a large area power system. Results show that extensive analysis of FACTs controller for improving stability of system.

Asian Journal of Information Technology , 2012,
Abstract: The security of any cryptographic algorithm is based on the key size and secure key transmission. The key size depends on algorithm and firmware. The secure key transmission is very important. The aim of this study to illustrate the key distribution analysis in two scenarios. In the first scenario, to analyze how to distribute the key between sender and receiver with the presence of online Certificate Authority (CA) and also discuss some security features used in Virtual Private Network using CA. In the second scenario, to consider a fully self-organized key management for key distribution without any centralized server. Then show the comparative study in key distribution between Certificate Authority and self-organized key management.

Abstract: The Internet has changed information handling and escalation of digital contents in recent years, but appropriate storage technology is needed for effective management of information which is critical to businesses today. The rapid growth of digital contents requires a technology that delivers high availability, scalability, and reliability. Storage Area Network (SAN) is one promising solution providing high speed data transfer with many other storage services, backboned with a high speed Fibre Channel (FC). SAN design and implementation requires careful analysis before SAN can be used as an enterprise storage solution. This research paper discuss information growth, information handling, and various storage technologies available today, in addition to financial justifications, backup procedures, disaster management and security measures. This paper also recommends an efficient design analysis considering various factors for SAN implementations to meet the customer demands of organizations.
An Evaluation Of Fingerprint Security Using Noninvertible Biohash
International Journal of Network Security & Its Applications , 2011,
Abstract: Biometric analysis for identifying verification is becoming a widespread reality. It is a very challenging and tedious task to develop a biometric template protection scheme which is anonymous, revocable and noninvertible while maintaining decent performance. Cancellable biometrics is one of the best methods used to resolve this problem. In this paper, a new method called as BioHashing which follows the technique of cancellable biometrics in the fingerprint domain is proposed. This proposed method does not require the re-alignment of fingerprints as all the minutiae are translated into a pre-defined two dimensional space based on a reference minutia. After that, the proposed Biohashing method is used to enforce the one-way property (non-invertibility) of the biometric template. The proposed approach is very much resistant to minor translation error and rotation distortion. An Equal Error Rates (EER) of less than 1% is achieved in this approach and performance of the approach is also significant.

Journal of Advances in Information Technology , 2011, DOI: 10.4304/jait.2.2.80-86
Abstract: Biometric plays important role in person recognition and identification. It is more secure than the traditional systems like password and token based systems. The traditional systems can be stolen, misplaced or destroyed. But the biometric systems are based on the physiological or behavioral traits of the individual human being. It cannot be altered or misused by the unauthorized persons. It is more reliable than the traditional systems. Although it is powerful, immutable to vulnerable attacks So it is necessary to secure the biometric template using more efficient techniques. Crytography is the most powerful technique to avoid vulnerable attacks. Recently it was found that The non-associative property of quasigroup helps achieving better security by having a randomly generated key for encr[1]yption. The operations involved in Quasigroup are computationally simple and can be efficiently used for protection of voluminous media like images, audio, video and different forms of multimedia In this paper the Quasigroup technique is used to provide better security to Retina Template.
