An Accurate Numerical Solution for the Modified Equal Width Wave Equation Using the Fourier Pseudo-Spectral Method  [PDF]

Abstract: In this study, the numerical solution for the Modified Equal Width Wave (MEW) equation is presented using Fourier spectral method that use to discretize the space variable and Leap-frog method scheme for time dependence. Test problems including the single soliton wave motion, interaction of two solitary waves and interaction of three solitary waves will use to validate the proposed method. The three invariants of the motion are evaluated to determine the conservation properties of the generated scheme. Finally, a Maxwellian initial condition pulse is then studied. The L2 and L error norms are computed to study the accuracy and the simplicity of the presented method.

Abstract: We consider the complex specializations of Krammer’s representation of the pure braid group on three strings, namely K(q,t), where q and t are non-zero complex numbers. We then specialize the indeterminate t by one and replace by for simplicity. Then we present our main theorem that gives us sufficient conditions that guarantee the irreducibility of the tensor product of two irreducible complex specializations of Krammer’s repre- sentations .
The Harmonic Oscillator with Random Damping in Non-Markovian Thermal Bath  [PDF]

Abstract: In this paper, we define the harmonic oscillator with random damping in non-Markovian thermal bath. This model represents new version of the random oscillators. In this side, we derive the overdamped harmonic oscillator with multiplicative colored noise and translate it into the additive colored noise by changing the variables. The overdamped harmonic oscillator is stochastic differential equation driving by colored noise. We derive the change in the total entropy production (CTEP) of the model and calculate the mean and variance. We show the fluctuation theorem (FT) which is invalid at any order in the time correlation. The problem of the deriving of the CTEP is studied in two different examples of the harmonic potential. Finally, we give the conclusion and plan for future works.

Abstract: ENGLISH ABSTRACT:Current manufacturing environments do not possess the flexibility required for massproducing custom parts. A solution – forming a hybrid manufacturing system that encapsulates computer-integrated manufacturing (CIM) cells with reconfigurable manufacturing system (RMS) techniques – is proposed to facilitate the production of mass customised parts. The reconfigurable CIM hybrid cell possessed manufacturing conditions such as key RMS characteristics and CIM capabilities, controlled simultaneously by its software and hardware. Through intelligent agent-based architecture, it executed various operations, ranging from intelligent production scheduling and mechanisation of hardware to synchronisation of the cell components. AFRIKAANSE OPSOMMING: Huidige vervaardigingsomgewings besit nie die nodige aanpasbaarheid om doelgemaakte produkte in grootmaat te produseer nie. ’n Oplossing, waarin ’n hibriede vervaardigingstelsel saamgestel uit rekenaarge ntegreerde vervaardigingselle (“CIM cells”) met herkonfigureerbare vervaardigingstelseltegnieke (“RMS techniques”), is voorgestel om die produksie van doelgemaakte produkte op grootmaat te fasiliteer. Die herkonfigureerbare hibriede sel toon vervaardigingstoestande wat tegelykertyd deur beide die programmatuur so wel as die apparatuur beheer word. Die sel het, deur die gebruik van intelligente agentgebaseerde argitektuur, werksaamhede uitgevoer wat wissel van intelligente produksieskedulering, meganisasie van apparatuur, tot sinchronisasie van die selkomponente.
Numerical Solution of the Rotating Shallow Water Flows with Topography Using the Fractional Steps Method  [PDF]

Abstract: The two-dimensional nonlinear shallow water equations in the presence of Coriolis force and bottom topography are solved numerically using the fractional steps method. The fractional steps method consists of splitting the multi-dimensional matrix inversion problem into an equivalent one dimensional problem which is successively integrated in every direction along the characteristics using the Riemann invariant associated with the cubic spline interpolation. The height and the velocity field of the shallow water equations over irregular bottom are discretized on a fixed Eulerian grid and time-stepped using the fractional steps method. Effects of the Coriolis force and the bottom topography for particular initial flows on the velocity components and the free surface elevation have been studied and the results are plotted.

Abstract: The processes of tsunami evolution during its generation in search for possible amplification mechanisms resulting from unilateral spreading of the sea floor uplift is investigated. We study the nature of the tsunami build up and propagation during and after realistic curvilinear source models represented by a slowly uplift faulting and a spreading slip-fault model. The models are used to study the tsunami amplitude amplification as a function of the spreading velocity and rise time. Tsunami waveforms within the frame of the linearized shallow water theory for constant water depth are analyzed analytically by transform methods (Laplace in time and Fourier in space) for the movable source models. We analyzed the normalized peak amplitude as a function of the propagated uplift length, width and the average depth of the ocean along the propagation path.

Abstract: Authors of that paper proposed a prototype machine translator system to translate scientific English sentences into Ara- bic sentences. This system is based on natural language processing and machine learning. This proposed system is ap- plied in statistical field, which is very important on a mathematical sub field in Math department. The system is ana- lyzed, designed and developed. Author tested the proposed system on some statistical statements. It proves its validity as a prototype system.

Abstract: Introduction: Immunohistochemistry (IHC) enables the examination of a greater number of trephine biopsy levels and is helpful in determining additional scattered malignant cells. The aim of this study is to detect extra-pattern and subtle lymphomatous infiltration in bone marrow biopsies using CD20 and CD3 immunostaining. Patients and Methods: This study was conducted on 100 newly diagnosed Non Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) patients. Their bone marrow trephine biopsies were assessed on routine histology [Hematoxylin and Eosin (H & E)], and were further subjected to IHC using CD20 and CD3. Results: Pattern of involvement by H & E was highlighted by IHC. It showed additional interstitial pattern in 9 cases, parasinusoidal streaks in one case and highlighted a patchy pattern in another case with interstitial involvement on H & E. IHC also detected subtle infiltrations on additional 5.5% cases compared with histology alone. It helped in differentiating reactive (12 cases) and malignant lymphoid infiltration (33 cases). Conclusion: CD20 and CD3 immunostaining performed routinely on bone marrow trephine biopsies has the ability to reveal extra-pattern of infiltration and improve detection of subtle lymphoid involvement. A combined procedure identifying several distinctive features, in particular histotopography and IHC, provides a promising way of discriminating reactive from neoplastic lymphoid infiltrates in bone marrow trephine biopsies.

Abstract: Thyroid gland is one of most important endocrine glands in the body. It plays vital role in growth control and its measurements tends to change in respect to age, sex, weight and ethnic group of the individual. This study aimed to assess endemic goiter and to estimate the measurement of normal thyroid gland dimensions and thyroid hormones level in school-aged children using Ultrasonography and ELISA Technique in Eastern Sudan (Kassala state). A total of 100 subjects is 6 - 18 years (43 males, 57 females), and mean of age (9.73 ± 2.54 years). This study was done in the period from April 2016 to February 2017. All the subject undergone thyroid ultrasound and thyroid hormone level test. Subjects with history of goiter were excluded from the study, by thyroid dimension (length, height and diameter). Thyroid volume was estimated using ellipsoid formula and thyroid hormones (TSH, T3 and T4) using Toso full automation.
