Executive Enhance Business Value of BAL Information System

Abstract: It has become gradually more complex to give more attention to the importance of business value of information system in the early hours of time. Above the past few days researchers have high lightened the requirement of information system in business field. Almost every organization and industry like electronics, textile, computer, health, education etc is investing appreciably in information system. It is generally observed that IS savings facilitate firms to achieve competitive benefit and enhance central part competencies to improve their performance and increase further wages. As a result Executive Enhance Business Value of BAL Information System (EEBVBIS) is at the heart of our deliberation in this research paper. This paper seeks to address the following questions. What is the role of business value in information system? How can we analyze business value of information system (IS)? What is the consequence of information system in new e-commerce era? It has been generally observed that with the passage of time as the quick changes are taking place in information system the above questions are gaining importance in the field of business. The deliberation in proper selection of technology and its proper utilization to improve the performance of a business in Hospital System provide help to achieve the business value. We also covered some aspects of Hospital System using statistical study. We focus the Information System which plays an important role in Hospital System (Private and Public Hospital System).
Flexible LDPC Decoder Architectures

Abstract: Flexible channel decoding is getting significance with the increase in number of wireless standards and modes within a standard. A flexible channel decoder is a solution providing interstandard and intrastandard support without change in hardware. However, the design of efficient implementation of flexible low-density parity-check (LDPC) code decoders satisfying area, speed, and power constraints is a challenging task and still requires considerable research effort. This paper provides an overview of state-of-the-art in the design of flexible LDPC decoders. The published solutions are evaluated at two levels of architectural design: the processing element (PE) and the interconnection structure. A qualitative and quantitative analysis of different design choices is carried out, and comparison is provided in terms of achieved flexibility, throughput, decoding efficiency, and area (power) consumption. 1. Introduction With the word flexibility regarding channel decoding, we mean the ability of a decoder to support different types of codes, enabling its usage in a wide variety of situations. Much research has been done in this sense after the great increase in number of standards, standard complexity, and code variety witnessed during the last years. Next-generation wireless standards such as DVB-S2 [1], IEEE 802.11n (WiFi) [2], IEEE 802.3an (10GBASE-T) [3], and IEEE 802.16e (WiMAX) [4] feature multiple codes (LDPC, Turbo), where each code comes with various code lengths and rates. The necessity for flexible channel decoder intellectual properties (IPs) is evident and challenging due to the often unforgiving throughput requirements and narrow constraints of decoder latency, power, and area. This work gives an overview of the most remarkable techniques in context of flexible channel decoding. We will discuss design and implementation of two major functional blocks of flexible decoders: processing element (PE) and interconnection structure. Various design choices are analyzed in terms of achieved flexibility, performance, design novelty, and area (power) consumption. The paper is organized as follows. Section 2 provides a brief introduction to LDPC codes and decoding. Section 3 gives an overview of flexible LDPC decoders classifying them on the basis of some important attributes for example, parallelism, implementation platforms, and decoding schedules. Sections 4 and 5 are dedicated to PE and interconnection structure, respectively, where we depict various design methodologies and analyze some state of the art flexible LDPC decoders. Electrochemical Characterization of Rapid Discharge Sintering (RDS) NiO Cathodes for Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells of p-Type  [PDF]

Abstract: Nickel oxide (NiO) thin films with thickness ranging in the interval 0.2 - 3.5 μm have been deposited onto conductive transparent substrate via the method of plasma-assisted rapid discharge sintering (RDS) with microwave heating starting from NiO nanoparticles with diameter 50 nm. The optical and electrochemical properties of the RDS NiO films in the pristine state were characterized in non aqueous electrolyte with the solvent 3-methoxy-propionitrile (3-MPN). Upon electrochemical cycling of NiO in 3-MPN we observed two characteristic oxidation peaks referring to the two nickel centred processes Ni(II)→Ni(III) and Ni(III)→Ni(IV), which are both localized prevalently on the surface of the metallic oxide. The oxide films prepared with the RDS method were also sensitized with different types of commercial dyes, either organometallic (N719, black dye) or organic (squaraine 2, erythrosine B), to compare the corresponding p-type dye-sensitized solar cells (p-DSCs). All dyes here employed matched the energies of their frontier orbitals with the upper edge of NiO valence band and the redox level of the triiodide/iodide couple. The comparison of the performances of the p-DSCs based on RDS NiO which differed exclusively for the nature of the sensitizer showed that the extent of electronic conjugation in the structure of the dye is crucial for the control of the photovoltaic performance of the corresponding p-DSC.
Evaluation of Some Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) Extracts for Immunostimulatory and Growth Promoting Effects in Industrial Broiler Chickens

Abstract: Present paper describes the immunostimulatory and growth promoting effects of some sugar cane extracts (SCEs) in broiler chickens. Aqueous extract (AE) from sugar cane (Saccharum officinarum) juice and ethanolic extract (EE) from bagasse were used to demonstrate their effects on lymphoproliferative responses to Phytohemagglutinin-P (PHA-P) and Concanavalin-A (Con-A); antibody response to sheep red blood cells (SRBCs); growth rate and feed conversion ratio (FCR) in experimental chickens as compared to control. Results showed significantly higher (P<0.05) in vitro and in vivo lymphoproliferative responses to Con-A and PHA-P, respectively in chickens administered with SCEs as compared to those in control group. Further, significantly higher (P<0.05) lymphoproliferative responses were detected in chickens administered with EE as compared to chickens administered with AE. Anti-SRBC total Igs, IgG and IgM titers were significantly higher (P<0.05) in chickens of experimental groups administered with SCEs as compared to those of control group; whereas titers were comparable among the experimental groups. The organ-body weight ratios of lymphoid organs were statistically similar in experimental and control groups. Both the experimental groups administered with SCEs showed better FCR and significantly higher (P<0.05) weight gains as compared to control. In conclusion, oral administration of SCEs showed immunostimulatory effects in broiler chickens and resulted in improved feed utilization and decreased amount of food needed for unit gain in body weight.

Abstract: Now-a-days it is very important for the business persons to attract their target customers towards their products through valuable mode of promotion and communication. Increasing use of World Wide Web has completely changed the scenario of business sector. Customized products and services, customers preferences, @ and dot com craze have elevated the importance of internet advertising. This research paper investigates valuable internet advertising which will help to enhance the value of internet advertising. In this research we have compared internet advertising with television advertising and found advertising will survive and grow if it focuses on being valuable. This research paper concentrates that the business objectives can be achieved if it has strong attractive, informative and valuable internet advertising. The basic purpose of VIACSC is to identify the latent need of the customer through advertisement and inform him/her about a product which will help to retain business image, customer satisfaction and then loyalty. We have introduced certain steps in valuable internet advertising, and then customer satisfaction cycle through valuable internet advertising and finally 5As which enhance further customers attraction towards the internet advertising.
Investigating the weak form efficiency of an emerging market by using parametric tests: evidence from Karachi stock market of Pakistan

Abstract: This paper focuses on the existence of weak from efficiency whether the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) is efficient market or not. The sample includes the daily and monthly closing prices of KSE- 100 indexes for the period of 1st January1999 to 31st August 2009. Several different parametric approaches: unit root test, autocorrelation tests and ARIMA model are used to test the certainty of the KSE market. All parametric methods tell us that both return series do not follow the random walk model and the significance autocorrelation reject the hypothesis of weak from efficiency. Generally, results from the observed analysis strongly recommend that the Karachi Stock Market of Pakistan is not efficient in weak from.
Quantitative Structure Activity Relationship and Risk Analysis of Some Pesticides in the Goat milk

Abstract: The detection and quantification of different pesticides in the goat milk samples collected from different localities of Faisalabad, Pakistan was performed by HPLC using solid phase microextraction. The analysis showed that about 50% milk samples were contaminated with pesticides. The mean+/-SEM levels (ppm) of cyhalothrin, endosulfan, chlorpyrifos and cypermethrin were 0.34+/-0.007, 0.063+/-0.002, 0.034+/-0.002 and 0.092+/-0.002, respectively; whereas, methyl parathion was not detected in any of the analyzed samples. Quantitative structure activity relationship (QSAR) models were suggested to predict the residues of unknown pesticides in the goat milk using their known physicochemical characteristics including molecular weight (MW), melting point (MP), and log octanol to water partition coefficient (Ko/w) in relation to the characteristics such as pH, % fat, specific gravity and refractive index of goat milk. The analysis revealed good correlation coefficient (R2 = 0.985) for goat QSAR model. The coefficients for Ko/w and refractive index for the studied pesticides were higher in goat milk. This suggests that these are better determinants for pesticide residue prediction in the milk of these animals. Based upon the determined pesticide residues and their provisional tolerable daily intakes, risk analysis was also conducted which showed that daily intake levels of pesticide residues including cyhalothrin, chlorpyrifos and cypermethrin in present study are 2.68, 5.19 and 2.71 times higher, respectively in the goat milk. This intake of pesticide contaminated milk might pose health hazards to humans in this locality.
Fixed Innovative Bandwidth Utilization in TDM EPON

Abstract: PON can be used by two technologies, which were developed APONs (ATM Passive Optical Networks) and EPONs (Ethernet Passive Optical Networks).With the development of services offered by the Internet, the last mile bottleneck problems continue to increase day by day. Many algorithms were developed for making TDM EPON efficient like IPACT, Scheduling, Priority swapping etc. These all algorithms have problems like starvation, QoS, latency and channel under-utilization. We focused the efficient bandwidth utilization in TDM EPON by managing time slots within ONUs and reducing latency, starvation and increasing quality of service. Our Fixed Innovative Bandwidth Algorithm is an intra-ONU bandwidth allocation algorithm, which is used to enhance the network performance by evaluating the parameters like channel underutilization, starvation, delay and Quality of Service. The issues which are lacking in the already made algorithms are being resolved with our proposed solution. The main problem is that the other solutions didn't use the time slots which are guaranteed to their classes efficiently. In FIB Algorithm this issue is being resolved.
