SOFTWARE COMPONENT COMPLEXITY MEASUREMENT THROUGH PROPOSED INTEGRATION METRICS

Abstract: Component based software paradigm has become one of the preferred streams for developing large and complex systems by integrating prefabricated software components which not only facilitates the process of software development but is also changing the ways for software professionals to develop software applications. Till today, numerous attempts have been made by several organizations, software development teams, developers as well as researchers to improve software component systems through improved measurement tools and techniques i.e. through an effective metrics. Our paper is a simple attempt to work for the demand of an appropriate and relevant metrics and in this paper, we’ve proposed some integration metrics for the measurement of complexity of a software component, which could be used as one of the approaches for further guidance in component complexity measurement and problem reduction. A Practical approach for fault component network for Current and Voltage Phasor Diagram in Power Electronic Environment

Abstract: In many large-scale power plants, the structure of its auxiliary power system is complex, and the coordination of its relay protections is difficult. To enhance power supply reliability for the user terminals in the case of the distribution system to avoid interference by the fault again, rapidly complete the automatic identification, positioning, automatic fault isolation, network reconfiguration until the resumption of supply of non-fault section, a microprocessor-based relay protection device has developed. As the fault component theory is widely used in microcomputer protection, and fault component exists in the network of fault component, it is necessary to build up the fault component network when short circuit fault emerging and to draw the current and voltage component phasor diagram at fault point. We proposed a special phase sequence component based on the boundary condition. We analysis the velocity according to the relationship between analysis formula and phasor diagram and current in fault component boundary conditions and sequence voltage and current in boundary conditions. The negative and zero sequence component current and voltage at fault point are the same as fault component. The positive sequence component current and voltage at fault point are different from the fault component. So we consider the positive sequences according to that sequences we analyze the fault point

Abstract: Design of portable consumer electronic devices such as mobile phones, video game and other embedded systems are increasingly demanding low power consumption to maximize the battery life, reduce weight and increase reliability. These types of power sensitive devices are equipped with microprocessors as the processing elements and memories as the storage units. With current complementary metal oxide semiconductor technology a large portion of power consumption is consumed as dynamic power. Bus encoding techniques for low power consumption have been studied in the last couple of decades. Which includes Frequent Value Encoding method, Bus Invert Coding method and Gray Encoding Method .But these techniques could not become the part of Computer architecture because data profile based analysis was not done and delay based analysis was not done. So these techniques are not compatible to incorporate in the computer architecture. The contribution of our work is to design a methodology for optimizing CMOS circuits to incorporate the bus codec techniques by doing the delay based analysis.
Laparoscopic management of endometriosis in infertile women and outcome

Abstract: Background: The prevalence of endometriosis is estimated to be ~3% in women of reproductive age and it is observed in 20 to 70% of patients presenting with infertility. For patients presenting with moderate or severe endometriosis, the fertility results were better with surgical treatment than with no treatment or with medical treatment. The objective of this study was to identify endometriosis in infertile women during diagnostic laparoscopy, to demonstrate the surgical feasibility and outcome of laparoscopic management of endometriosis in infertile women. Methods: Endometriosis patients with infertility were analyzed. When operating on patients of endometriosis following aspects of surgery were correlated with pregnancy outcome. Endometrioma removal by cystectomy/ drainage and fulguration, conservation of ovarian tissue, restoration of tubo-ovarian relationship, adhesiolysis. Results: There were 191 cases of infertility for which diagnostic laparoscopy were performed for the period of 2 years. Only 13 cases (6.8%) had features of moderate/severe endometriosis. 4 (30.76%) cases had severe and 9(69.24%) cases had moderate endometriosis. All cases were treated by laparoscopic surgery. 6 (47.04%) of them conceived. 5 (83.4%) of them conceived with IUI and one patient (16.6%) conceived with IVF treatment. Conclusions: The use of laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of moderate/severe endometriosis improves success rates of IUI & IVF. [Int J Reprod Contracept Obstet Gynecol 2013; 2(2.000): 177-181]
Growth and Magnetic Properties of Polycrystalline Self-Assembled Bifurcated Co Nanowires

Abstract: We use anodization of aluminum foil with variable applied anodization voltage to create an alumina template with bifurcated porous structures. The template is then used to electrodeposit Co, fabricating unique bifurcated Co nanowires. In order to better understand the crystal structure of our new material, we then report magnetic properties of these self-assembled bifurcated Co nanowires. Magnetic measurements of the bifurcated wires are studied as functions of branch/stem ratios, wire length, and temperature. The results are compared with those of straight Co nanowires of similar dimensions and thin film Co samples to find that a different crystal lattice structure prevails in the stems than in the branches of the wires.

Cutaneous tuberculosis in children a clinico-microbiological study

Abstract: Twenty untreated patients of cutaneous tuberculosis varying from 2-12 years of age were included in the study. The incidence of cutaneous tuberculosis amongst the paediatric dermatological patients was 0.36%. Of these, 10 had lupus vulgaris, 8 had scrofuloderma, 3 had tuberculosis verrucosa cutis and 2 had lichen scrofulosorum. Three patients concomitantly had more than one type of skin tuberculosis. Systemic involvement in the form of pulmonary and osseous system was seen in 45% cases. The tuberculin test was uniformly positive. Affirmative clinico-histopathological correlation was observed in all the patients. However, acid fast bacilli could not be demonstrated in any of the sections. Only one patient (scrofuloderma) exhibited AFB on smear examination. In the same patient, M. tuberculosis could be cultured on L-J medium. However, Elisa for IgM antibodies in serum was positive in 12 (60%) cases. Need for newer techniques in the diagnosis is emphasised.
