Mokhtar Mahamad,Izah Mohd Tahir
Jurnal Kemanusiaan , 2010,
Toward a Multi-Hop, Multi-Path Fault-Tolerant and Load Balancing Hierarchical Routing Protocol for Wireless Sensor Network  [PDF]
Mokhtar Beldjehem
Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/wsn.2013.511025

This paper describes a novel energy-aware multi-hop cluster-based fault-tolerant load balancing hierarchical routing protocol for a self-organizing wireless sensor network (WSN), which takes into account the broadcast nature of radio. The main idea is using hierarchical fuzzy soft clusters enabling non-exclusive overlapping clusters, thus allowing partial multiple membership of a node to more than one cluster, whereby for each cluster the clusterhead (CH) takes in charge intra-cluster issues of aggregating the information from nodes members, and then collaborate and coordinate with its related overlapping area heads (OAHs), which are elected heuristically to ensure inter-clusters communication. This communication is implemented using an extended version of time-division multiple access (TDMA) allowing the allocation of several slots for a given node, and alternating the role of the clusterhead and its associated overlapping area heads. Each cluster head relays information to overlapping area heads which in turn each relays it to other associated cluster heads in related clusters, thus the information propagates gradually until it reaches the sink in a multi-hop fashion.

Applied Mathematics (AM) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/am.2015.611166
Abstract: In this paper, we establish the existence of at least four distinct solutions to an elliptic problem with singular cylindrical potential, a concave term, and critical Caffarelli-Kohn-Nirenberg exponent, by using the Nehari manifold and mountain pass theorem.

Applied Mathematics (AM) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/am.2015.614198
Abstract: In this paper, we consider the existence of multiple solutions to the Kirchhoff problems with critical potential, critical exponent and a concave term. Our main tools are the Nehari manifold and mountain pass theorem.

The Phenological Stages of Apple Tree in the North Eastern of Iran  [PDF]
Mokhtar Karami, Mehdi Asadi
Computational Water, Energy, and Environmental Engineering (CWEEE) , 2017, DOI: 10.4236/cweee.2017.63018
The main objective of this study was to evaluate the process of parameters such as mean temperature; total precipitation on phenology and phenological stages of apple golden type in Razavi Khorasan. For this reason, long-term data of absolute minimum daily temperature, precipitation, humidity, as well as Digital Elevation Model (DEM) was used. After collecting data on phenology and Growing Degree Days (GDD) for golden apple, to pass each phenological stage at different growth stages, the start and end dates, phenological stages of the locations were identified. Then, regression equations with variable longitude, latitude and altitude on SPSS software at level of 50% and 95%, respectively were used, and finally phenological stages and spatial distribution maps of temperature and precipitation variables based on these equations were drawn in ARC GIS software. The analysis of the phenological stages showed that Torbate Heydarieh station has a decreasing trend which is significant at 1% in all stages of phenology and Ghoochan station does not show any significant increase or decrease trend at all stages of phenology.
Comparison of Service Quality Gaps among Teachers and Students as Internal and External Customers

International Journal of Marketing Studies , 2010, DOI: 10.5539/ijms.v2n2p13
Abstract: Using an internal marketing (IM) approach, this study aims to compare the quality gap of educational services among students (service customers) and teachers (service providers) at the district 6 public high schools of Tehran, Iran. In a cross-sectional study, the survey questionnaire was completed by two distinct groups of respondents, 230 teachers and 384 students. Findings indicate that there is negative gap in each of the five dimensions among both groups of teachers and students. Quality gaps from viewpoint of both groups were negative. The largest mean quality gap from students and teachers viewpoint was in the responsiveness and tangibility dimensions, respectively. The largest and smallest differences between students and teachers viewpoint were in the responsiveness and tangibility dimensions. The findings show a need for implementation of IM.

Abstract: The present research was conducted in a bank in Tehran, Iran, in 2009/2010. This report is the outcome of a field research, which aimed to determine the quality of services offered by Sepah Bank, and also to study the relationship between the service quality, satisfaction and loyalty. In this research, the service quality standard model has been used for evaluation of service quality, Gremler and Brown (1996) model with some revision was used for evaluating the loyalty, and the instrument offered by Bitner and Hubbert (1994) was used for evaluation of customer satisfaction. The focus of this research is a Sepah Bank branch around Fatemi St., Tehran, Iran, and 147 customers of this bank were sampled. The results of this research show that in all aspects, customers’ expectation, are higher than their perceptions of the Bank’s operation, and in fact the quality of offered services is low. Besides, this research findings show that the customer satisfaction plays the role of a mediator in the effects of service quality on service loyalty. These findings are further explored.

International Journal of Business and Management , 2011, DOI: 10.5539/ijbm.v6n2p93
Abstract: This research analyzes the various socio-psychological orientations of hospital service employees towards service training in the Imam Khomeini hospital, Tehran, Iran. The study focuses on instrumental and integrative orientations of employees in taking service training. In order to determine the employees’ tendency towards the mentioned orientations, a sample of 255 employees was given a questionnaire based on Gardner’s Attitude/Motivation Test Battery (AMTB). Findings of the present study shows that the hospital employees are both instrumentally and interactively oriented towards service training. This study of socio-psychological variables of the employees provides additional insights in better identifying motivational challenges and taking more realistic perspectives about the service training as an instrument of internal marketing (IM). Finally, suggestions for managers and some recommendations regarding future researches in this area have been highlighted.
