Abstract: Nowadays the Euler-Poisson-Darboux equation is extensively studied in several settings. The main questions on avery spaces are explicit solutions for the classical Cauchy problems with the second data null. In this note we will generalize and unify several results on Euler-Poisson-Darboux equation. In this note we consider the Cauchy problem with modified conditions for the Euler-Poisson-Darboux equation. We give the explicit solutions in terms of Gauss 2F1 and Appel F4 hypergeometric functions with applications to the classical and radial wave equations
An intertwining operator for the harmonic oscillator and the Dirac operator with application to the heat and wave kernels

Abstract: In this article an intertwining operator is constructed which transforms the harmonic oscillator to the Dirac operator (the first order derivative operator). We give also the explicit solutions to the heat and wave equation associated to Dirac operator. As an application the heat and the wave kernels of the harmonic oscillator are computed.

Abstract: The aim of this study is to show the influence of the wavelength on the electrical parameters of vertical parallel junction silicon solar cell by use of impedance spectroscopy technique. The Bode diagrams of the diffusion capacitance are shown for different wavelengths while the solar cell operates under both open circuit and short circuit conditions. The Nyquist diagram of the diffusion capacitance has shown the extension of the space charge region for various wavelengths.

Abstract: We study the Tauberian relations between the moment generating function (MGF) and the complementary cumulative distribution function of a variable whose MGF is finite only on part of the real line. We relate the right tail behavior of the cumulative distribution function of such a random variable to the behavior of its MGF near the critical moment. We apply our results to an arbitrary superposition of a CIR process and the time-integral of this process.

Abstract: In MANETs, traffic may follow certain pattern that is not necessarily spatial or temporal but rather to follow special needs as a part of group for collaboration purposes. The source node tends to communicate with a certain set of nodes more than others regardless of their location exhibiting traffic locality where this set changes over time. We introduce a traffic locality oriented route discovery algorithm with delay, TLRDA-D. It utilises traffic locality by establishing a neighbourhood that includes the most likely destinations for a particular source node. The source node broadcasts the route request according to the original routing used. However, each intermediate node broadcasts the route request with a delay beyond this boundary to give priority for route requests that are travelling within their own source node’s neighbourhood region. This ap-proach improves the end-to-end delay and packet loss, as it generates less contention throughout the network. TLRDA-D is analysed using simulation to study the effect of adding a delay to route request propagation and to decide on the amount of the added delay.
Genetic and Metabolic Determinants of Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor 1 (PAI-1) in Tunisian Type 2 Diabetes Patients  [PDF]

Abstract: Background: PAI-1 (plasminogen activator inhibitor-1) is a powerful regulator of fibrinolysis and plasma level is high in type 2 diabetes and cardio-vascular disease, which is determined by genetic polymorphisms in PAI-1 gene and environmental factors. The aim of the study was to examine the determinants of plasma PAI-1 Ag level among type 2 diabetes patients. Methods: 491 Tunisian type 2 diabetes patients had clinical evaluation (weight, high, BMI, Waist Circumference), laboratory investigations including FBG Hb1Ac, cholesterol, triglyceride; HDL-cholesterol was done; plasma PAI-1 antigen level was done with ELISA; 675 4G/5G and 844 G/A polymorphisms of PAI-1 gene was done by PCR-ASA and PCR-RFLP respectively. Results: The mean age for our patients was 58.3 ± 10.5 years; sex-ratio = 0.92; mean PAI-1 level was 34.6 ± 21.3 ng/ml. We didn’t find correlation between PAI-1 level and BMI, but we have found significant correlation between PAI-1 and waist circumference (p = 0.032), most enhanced in men (P = 0.002), T2D patients who have FBG > 11 mmol/l had PAI-1 Ag level higher than those who have FBG < 11 mmol/l (P = 0.034), but no difference found between T2D with high Hb1Ac > 8% and those with Hb1Ac < 8%, significant correlation was seen between PAI-1 level and LDL-cholesterol (P = 0.05), high correlation between PAI-1 Ag level and 675 4G/5G polymorphism genotype was seen, 4G/4G carriers had the highest PAI-1 level, 4G/5G had intermediary level and 5G/5G had the lowest level (P < 0.001). No correlation was seen between PAI-1 Ag level and 844G/A polymorphism genotypes. Using multiple variable linear regression analysis, the independent factor associated with plasma PAI-1 level was 675 4G/5G polymorphism (regression coefficient β = 4.6, P < 0.01). Conclusion: the present study identifies 675 4G/5G not 844 G/A polymorphism of PAI gene as the principal determinant of plasma PAI-1 level in Tunisian T2D patients, the android fat distribution, dyslipidemia and hyperglycemia play a modest role in this variation.

Abstract: The photovoltaic sector in Morocco is a serious option for the future. The integration of this type of energy into the grid has a considerable effect on the adequacy of the grid. The objective of this work is to assess the reliability of the Moroccan power grid at the hierarchical level I (HLI: load coverage under the assumption of infinite node) using a non-sequential Monte Carlo simulation in which photovoltaic generation is introduced. In order to lead such a study, a model was used in order to calculate the hourly solar radiation and to determine the time evolution of the electrical power produced by photovoltaic power plants. Finally, we also compared the impact of both PV and wind generations in terms of adequacy of the Moroccan electrical supply.
