Abstract: Consistent with the Financial Reporting Standards Board's international convergence and harmonization policy it is proposed that a new accounting regime will prescribe the financial reporting practice and minimum disclosure requirements for agricultural activities, including the fair value of biological assets. In any financial report, the inclusion of biological assets may confuse the reality of the income profit and the wealth profit. There are many reasons it may provide misleading figures, the most obvious would be because the entity may have reported the value of heritage properties that do not actually generate any income but rather they are properties, which actually generate expenses for the entity, for example in maintenance costs. For any regime that requires entities to account and report on biological assets there should be a clear classification system that takes into account the different types of ownership structures in a society. Therefore in Romania, it is important that any financial reporting regime on biological assets should provide for the difference between business assets and cultural assets.
Introduction to the Yang-Baxter Equation with Open Problems

Abstract: The Yang-Baxter equation first appeared in theoretical physics, in a paper by the Nobel laureate C. N. Yang, and in statistical mechanics, in R. J. Baxter’s work. Later, it turned out that this equation plays a crucial role in: quantum groups, knot theory, braided categories, analysis of integrable systems, quantum mechanics, non-commutative descent theory, quantum computing, non-commutative geometry, etc. Many scientists have found solutions for the Yang-Baxter equation, obtaining qualitative results (using the axioms of various algebraic structures) or quantitative results (usually using computer calculations). However, the full classification of its solutions remains an open problem. In this paper, we present the (set-theoretical) Yang-Baxter equation, we sketch the proof of a new theorem, we state some problems, and discuss about directions for future research.

Abstract: in this work we propose a new reduction method for phase equilibrium calculations using a general form of cubic equations of state (ceos). the energy term in the ceos is a quadratic form, which is diagonalized by applying a linear transformation. the number of the reduction parameters is related to the rank of the matrix c with elements (1-cij), where cij denotes the binary interaction parameters (bips). the dimensionality of the problem depends only on the number of reduction parameters, and is independent of the number of components in the mixture.

Abstract: Explosive cyclogenesis over the south-eastern Romania december 2-3, 2012 . This paper is devoted to the study of the synoptic- dynamical conditions that contributed to the development of an rare explosive cyclogenesis event occurred at the beginning of 2012-2013 winter in southwestern Romania, more precisely between 2nd and 3th of December, 2012. The minimum pressure observed was 980,2 hPa, the lowest ever observed record in the surface of Sulina observation station, and also over the western side of Black Sea during period 1961-2000 and 1965-2004. It was found that the cyclone was not a regular one, but a real meteorological bomb” one where the central pressure at sea level has recorded an important decrease at about 32,3 hPa in 24 hours, equivalent with 1,7 Bergeron. Comparative by XX century storms” Lothar and Martin (level 2 and 1 on hurricane scale) which desolated western and central Europe in December 1999, this case of explosive cyclogenesis can be considered one of the extreme for our area concerning both meteorological view as well as the effects.

Abstract: The Yang-Baxter equation first appeared in a paper by the Nobel laureate, C.N. Yang, and in R.J. Baxter’s work. Later, Vladimir Drinfeld, Vaughan F. R. Jones and Edward Witten were awarded Fields Medals for their work related to the Yang-Baxter equation. After a short review on this equation and the Yang-Baxter systems, we consider the problem of constructing algebra factorizations from Yang-Baxter systems. Our sketch of proof uses braided categories. Other problems are also proposed.

Abstract: At the previous congress (CRM 6), we reviewed the construction of Yang-Baxter operators from associative algebras, and presented some (colored) bialgebras and Yang-Baxter systems related to them. The current talk deals with Yang-Baxter operators from (G, \theta)-Lie algebras (structures which unify the Lie algebras and the Lie superalgebras). Thus, we produce solutions for the constant and the spectral-parameter Yang-Baxter equations, Yang-Baxter systems, etc. Attempting to present the general framework we review the work of other authors and we propose problems, applications and directions of study.

Abstract: Transcendental numbers play an important role in many areas of science. This paper contains a short survey on transcendental numbers and some relations among them. New inequalities for transcendental numbers are stated in Section 2 and proved in Section 4. Also, in relationship with these topics, we study the exponential function axioms related to the Yang-Baxter equation.

This paper is an account of some of the latest developments on the Yang-Baxter equation, its set-theoretical version, and its applications. We construct new set-theoretical solutions for the Yang-Baxter equation. Unification theories and other results are proposed or proved.
Verification of Penetration of Lead in the Profile of Soil around the Former Battery Production Factory, Berat Albania  [PDF]

Abstract: The current study reports the concentration of lead in top of the soil samples and its penetration until the depth of approximately 120 cm. Representative soil samples are collected around the former Factory Production of Batteries to Berat, Albania at a distance 80 - 900 m from factory. We have chosen 12 sampling points. We have collected a total of 55 samples where 31 were soil samples (12 top of soil and 19 were profile soil samples) and 24 were random vegetation samples. All soil samples were analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrometry for their lead content, at the Institute of Applied Nuclear Physics, University of Tirana, Albania. From results obtained the fraction of lead in profile soil samples was in range: 78 mg/kg - 52,982 mg/kg and average concentration of lead was 2976 mg/kg, while in random vegetation samples was in range: 0.238 - 5.573 mg/kg. In general, trend of the content of lead in profile soil samples was decreasing compared to the content of lead in the respective top soil samples. The concentrations of lead which have been found in analyzed soil samples are compared with the Maximum Contaminant Levels specified by the Directive 86/278/EEC. Also, we have calculated Hazardous Quoted for each sampling point which is found very high. HQ in representative surface soil samples is 0.4 - 80.7 times higher than normal.
