Abstract: In the title compound, C15H18ClNO4S, the thiazolidine ring adopts a twisted conformation about the S—C(methylene) bond. The dihedral angle between the five- and six-membered rings is 77.2 (3)°. In the crystal, the molecules are linked by O—H...O hydrogen bonds, generating C(7) chains propagating in [100].
Relationship between Reduction of Summer Precipitation in North China and Atmospheric Circulation Anomalies  [PDF]

Abstract: Based on Reanalysis datasets from National Centers for Environmental Prediction/National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCEP/NCAR) and summer rainfall datasets from China National Climate Center (NCC), by using trend analysis and composite analysis methods, the relationship between the reduction of summer precipitation in North China and northern hemispheric circulation changes was investigated. The results show that summer rainfall in North China had a significant decreasing tendency, especially true since 1965 in which an abrupt change occurred. The northern hemisphere atmospheric circulation at 500 hPa had a remarkable change after 1965, from outstanding meridional circulation to outstanding zonal circulation, leading to upper trough activity to decrease, resulting in the rainfall weather processes caused by upward motion behind trough significantly to reduce. At 500 hPa in Mongolian region, air temperature decreased, resulting in lower troposphere pressure to increase, leading to low pressure activity significantly to decrease and rainfall weather processes influencing North China to reduce. At the same time, the decreased air temperature in 500 hPa would caused the upper troposphere geopotential height to reduce, resulting in high–altitude jet southerly location, the East Asian summer monsoon to weaken, then it was difficult for water vapor transport to cross the Yangtze River valley and reach the North China region, with a southerly summer monsoon rainfall zone. The summer precipitation reduction in North China had a good correlation with the northern hemispheric circulation changes.
An angular cutoff composite model for investigation on electromagnetic scattering from two-dimensional rough sea surfaces

Abstract: Based on the local configuration angle division to select the corresponding method for electromagnetic scattering calculation from rough sea surface, this paper presents an angular cutoff composite model: when the local scattered angle is in the specular region that is given by an approximately 20 degrees cone around the specular direction, the Kirchhoff approximation is applied to evaluate the specular reflection, which dominates the total scattering in this region; the small perturbation method is employed to handle the diffuse reflection which is predominant as the local scattered angle is situated out of the specular region. Numerical results are compared with those of experimental and theoretical models in several configurations as a function of incident angle, wind speed, wind direction. The comparison of numerical results of other experimental and theoretical models in several configurations shows that the new composite model is robust to give accurate numerical evaluations for the sea surface scattering.

Abstract: The traditional system of industry report is highly influenced by the speed of Internet and has low efficiency on report. In order to solve these problems, this paper studies J2EE and AJAX technologies, combine them and propose an industry report system which based on J2EE and AJAX technologies. The system which makes full advantages of both technologies, has solved the problems such as easily impacted by the bandwidth, reported in low efficiency, also increased the server’s load capacity. It obtains a good result in the practical application.
Amorphous Alloy Forming in the Fe-Hf Films by IBAD Technique

Abstract: Amorphization in the Fe/Hf multilayered films was achieved by Ar+ ion beam assisted deposition (IBAD) technique. The Ar+ ion energy used was from 4 to 12 keV. Several amorphous alloys were obtained in Hf-rich films and their compositions were located in a range of 50 similar to 80 at. pct Hf. The amorphization mechanism was also discussed.

Abstract: Considering the significant magnetic saturation and the double salient poles of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM), this paper presents a new method combining the Rapid Nonlinear Simulation Method with the Equivalent Magnet Circuit Analysis Model, which can make the accuracy and rapidity of the calculation of the performance of SRM achieved. This paper also presents a model of SRM, implements the rapid nonlinear simulation method to the model and lay the necessary foundation for SRM optimization.

Abstract: Among various modes of the asynchronous motor speed control, vector control has the advantages of fast response, stability, transmission of high-performance and wide speed range. For the need of the asynchronous motor speed control, the design uses 89C196 as the controller, and introduces the designs of hardware and software in details. The Design is completed effectively, with good performance simple structure and good prospects of development.
Experimental Study on the Relatedness in Chinese between Tonal Suggestiveness and Product Attributes in the Category of Cars

Abstract: This paper aims at finding whether in Chinese there is relatedness between the tones and the product attributes by an experiment on tone suggestiveness. The experiment shows that in automobile brand naming, the rising tone is the most favorable one for all types of cars, other tonal preference varies depending on the attributes of the cars as follows: the high tone is the second most favored for the safe and comfortable type; falling tone is favored for the fashionable type; the high tone and the dipping tone share almost the same preference for the environment-friendly and the luxury type; and for the powerful type, the falling tone is the second most favored. Besides, the experiment also shows that there is a different tonal preference between the male and female subjects for the naming of safe and comfortable automobiles: male subjects favor the rising for all the types, while the females high tone for the naming of safe and comfortable automobiles. Key words: tonal language, tone suggestiveness, product attributes, brand naming Résumé: Cet article vise à trouver s’il existe, en chinois, une relation entre les intonations et les attributs du produit en faisant un essai sur la suggestivité tonale. Cet essai montre que dans la dénomination des marques automobiles, le ton montant est le plus favorisé pour toutes sortes de voiture, d’autres préférences tonaux varient selon les attributs de voiture comme ci –dessous : le ton haut est le deuxième favori pour la gamme s re et comfortable, le ton descendant est favorisé par la gamme à la mode, le ton haut et le ton baissant bénéficie d’une préférence presque égale de la gamme environnement-amical et la gamme de luxe, et pour la gamme puissante, le ton descendant est le deuxième favori. En outre, cet essai montre aussi qu’il existe une préférence différente dans la dénomination des automobiles s rs et comfortables entre les hommes et les femmes : les hommes ont une préférence pour le ton montant pour toutes les gammes , tandis que les femmes préfère le ton haut pour dénommer la gamme s re et comfortable.
