Abstract: El objetivo de este estudio fue examinar las repercusiones de un programa de Terapia asistida por animales junto a un grupo de pa- cientes del Centro de Atención Psicosocial de la Infancia e Adolescencia del Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre - RS, Brasil. Tuvo como objeto de estudio las repercusiones psicosociales deestas intervenciones sobre: el funcionamiento global, síntomas psiquiátri- cos y relacionamiento con los pares contemplados en los instrumentos CGAS (Children Global Assessment Scale) y SDQ (Streng-ths Difficulties Questionnaire). Participaron de la investigación veintiocho ni os y adolescentes con edad entre 7 y 16 a os y susresponsables. Los resultados demostraron que cuando las informaciones son analizadas en conjunto hay diferencias que tienden a resultados sobre el funcionamiento global compatibles con la categoría de normalidad.
Fourier transforms of positive definite kernels and the Riemann $ξ$-Function

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to investigate the distribution of zeros of entire functions which can be represented as the Fourier transforms of certain admissible kernels. The principal results bring to light the intimate connection between the Bochner-Khinchin-Mathias theory of positive definite kernels and the generalized real Laguerre inequalities. The concavity and convexity properties of the Jacobi theta function play a prominent role throughout this work. The paper concludes with several questions and open problems.

Supersymmetric minisuperspace with non-vanishing fermion number

Abstract: The Lagrangean of $N=1$ supergravity is dimensionally reduced to one (time-like) dimension assuming spatial homogeneity of any Bianchi type within class A of the classification of Ellis and McCallum. The algebra of the supersymmetry generators, the Lorentz generators, the diffeomorphism generators and the Hamiltonian generator is determined and found to close. In contrast to earlier work, infinitely many physical states with non-vanishing even fermion number are found to exist in these models, indicating that minisuperspace models in supergravity may be just as useful as in pure gravity.
Collective excitations of trapped Fermi or Bose gases

Abstract: A new method is developed to calculate all excitations of trapped gases using hydrodynamics at zero temperature for any equation of state $\mu=\mu(n)$ and for any trapping potential. It is shown that a natural scalar product can be defined for the mode functions, by which the wave operator is hermitian and the mode functions are orthogonal. It is also shown that the Kohn-modes are exact for harmonic trapping in hydrodynamic theory. Excitations for fermions are calculated in the BCS-BEC transition region using the equation of state of the mean-field Leggett-model for isotrop harmonic trap potential.
Quantum states on supersymmetric minisuperspace with a cosmological constant

Abstract: Spatially homogeneous models in quantum supergravity with a nonvanishing cosmological constant are studied. A class of exact nontrivial solutions of the supersymmetry and Lorentz constraints is obtained in terms of the Chern-Simons action on the spatially homogeneous 3-manifold, both in Ashketar variables where the solution is explicit up to reality conditions, and, more concretely, in the tetrad-representation, where the solutions are given as integral representations differing only by the contours of integration. In the limit of a vanishing cosmological constant earlier exact solutions for Bianchi type IX models in the tetrad-representation are recovered and additional asymmetric solutions are found.

Abstract: In this lecture supersymmetric minisuperspace models of any Bianchi type within class A of the classification of Ellis and McCallum are considered. The algebra of the supersymmetry generators, the Lorentz generators, the diffeomorphism generators and the Hamiltonian generator is determined explicitely and found to close. Different from earlier work it is established that physical states, which are annihilated by all these generators, exist in {\it all } sectors of these models with fixed even fermion number. A state in the 4-fermion sector of the Bianchi type IX model is considered as a specific example, which satisfies the `no-boundary' condition of Hartle and Hawking. The conclusion is that supersymmetric minisuperspace models have a much richer manifold of physical states than had been recognized before.
Exact quantum state for N=1 supergravity

Abstract: For N=1 supergravity in 3+1 dimensions we determine the graded algebra of the quantized Lorentz generators, supersymmetry generators, and diffeo-morphism and Hamiltonian generators and find that, at least formally, it closes in the chosen operator ordering. Following our recent conjecture and generalizing an ansatz for Bianchi-type models we proposed earlier we find an explicit exact quantum solution of all constraints in the metric representation.

Abstract: A conjecture of I. Krasikov is proved. Several discrete analogues of classical polynomial inequalities are derived, along with results which allow extensions to a class of transcendental entire functions in the Laguerre-P\'olya class.
