Abstract: Son y llarda yeni bir sosyal alan haline gelen internet, birey ve sosyal organizasyonlara zaman ve mekandan ba ms z bir ileti im ortam sunmaya ba lam t r. Bu durum birey ve sosyal organizasyonlar n internet ortam nda rgütlenmesine yol a m ve sanal cemaat yap s n ortaya karm t r. Bu ba lamda makalede, sanal cemaatlerin anla lmas amac yla ncelikle geleneksel cemaat kavram üzerinde durulacakt r. Buna ba l olarak da insanlar n ortak de er ve dü üncelerini payla malar na imkan sa lamalar noktas nda sanal cemaatler ele al nacakt r. Bu yeni topluluklar n ortaya k yla birlikte geleneksel cemaat yap lar n n nas l ve hangi ko ullarda sanal ortama transfer olduklar da ele al nacakt r. Buradan hareketle sanal cemaatlerin geleneksel cemaatlerden farkl l klar ve benzerlikleri ortaya konmaya al lacakt r.In recent years, the internet that has become a social environment has commenced to offer a communicative space which is independent from space and time to individuals and social organizations. This circumstance has led individuals and social organizations to organize in the internet milieu and to the emergence of the structure of virtual communities. In this sense, the concept of traditional community will be emphasized in order to make virtual communities understandable in the article. Accordingly, virtual communities will be scrutinized within the framework of how they have provided opportunities to people to share their common values and thoughts. The transfers of the structures of traditional communities to cyberspace with the emergence of these new communities will be also examined. Thus, the different aspects of virtual communities from traditional communities will be revealed.

Because sahaba informed Prophet Mohammed about the problems that they faced; He found solutions for the matters that sahaba are on collision and hesitated. However some disputes which emerged after the passing of Prophet Mohammed resulted in some divisions among Muslims and this established ground to the rise of various madhhabs and divisions as theological. Besides consideration of people who grew up in different socio-cultural circumference played crucial role in occurence of controversies. In brief, our study aims to emphasize on the factors which caused differentation of insights in Islam.
Pray handling times and partial prey consumption in five species of European Shrews (Soricidae, Insectivora)
W. Haberl
Pakistan Journal of Biological Sciences , 1998,
Abstract: Prey handling times for meal-worms were measured in the common shrew (Sorex araneus Linnaeus, 1758), the pygmy shrew (S. minutus Linnaeus, 1766), the European water shrew ( Neomys fodiens (Pennant, 1771), Miller`s water shrew (N. anomalus Cabrera, 1907) and the lesser white-toothed shrew (Crocidura suaveolens (Pallas, 1811). The ranking corresponds with the body mass of the shrew species, water shrews eating fastest and pygmy shrews slowest. Eating patterns as revealed by food remains are evaluated and the significance of partial prey consumption is discussed.

CP violating couplings in Z -> 3 jet decays revisited
P. Haberl
Physics , 1996,
Abstract: Possible CP violating effects in $Z\rightarrow$ 3 jet decays are investigated. The analysis assumes the presence of CP violating $Zq\bar qG$ couplings. The contribution of these couplings to the $Z\rightarrow q\bar qG$ decay width is calculated for different cut algorithms, including nonzero quark masses. Various CP--odd observables are discussed and it is shown that their sensitivity can change significantly if one uses normalized or unnormalized momentum vectors for their construction. Optimal observables are proposed which allow to measure the new couplings simultaneously.
AXPs and X-ray dim neutron stars: Recent XMM-Newton and Chandra results
F. Haberl
Physics , 2003, DOI: 10.1016/j.asr.2003.07.022
Abstract: To date more than half a dozen X-ray dim isolated neutron stars are known. Their X-ray spectra are characterized by soft blackbody-like emission (kT about 50-120 eV) without indication for harder, non-thermal components. These stars apparently show no radio emission and no association with supernova remnants. Four of them exhibit pulsations in their X-ray flux with periods in the range of 8.39 s to 22.7 s. Similar pulse periods were found from AXPs, maybe suggesting evolutionary connections. In this talk I will review the recent observational results from X-ray dim isolated neutron obtained by the major X-ray observatories XMM-Newton and Chandra. Spectral and temporal characteristics, inferred luminosities and magnetic field strengths will be compared with those of AXPs.
First deep XMM-Newton observations of the LMC: Identifying LMC intrinsic source populations
F. Haberl
Physics , 2002,
Abstract: The first X-ray survey of the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) was performed with the Einstein satellite, revealing diffuse X-ray emission from hot gas and discrete X-ray sources. The ROSAT observations between 1990 and 1998 supplied the most sensitive survey with imaging instruments in the soft X-ray band (0.1 - 2.4 keV). The PSPC and HRI observations covered 59 square degrees of the LMC and yielded a catalogue of about 1000 sources. Large efforts were undertaken to identify and classify the X-ray sources according to the nature of their X-ray emission. X-ray properties were used together with information from other electro-magnetic wavelength bands to screen out foreground stars and background objects from the LMC intrinsic X-ray source population which comprises X-ray binaries, supernova remnants and supersoft sources. However, the vast majority of sources still remains of unknown nature. First deep XMM-Newton observations of selected regions in the LMC demonstrate a large step forward in the identification of LMC X-ray sources. The large collecting area together with imaging detectors covering energies 0.1 - 15 keV with far improved spectral resolution allows to determine the nature of an object directly from the X-ray properties down to low flux levels of a few 10$^{-14}$ erg cm$^{-2}$ s$^{-1}$. First results of a deep observation north of LMC X-4 are presented, which reveal the presence of new supernova remnants and X-ray binaries.
Broadbent’s Cognitive Approach and Its Effect on Motor Performance in Sports  [PDF]
Mehmet Koyuncu
Psychology (PSYCH) , 2011, DOI: 10.4236/psych.2011.25073
Abstract: This study aimed to test Broadbent’s attentional filtering theory in the perceptual motor task of dart throwing. Dart board size was manipulated in order to reduce the amount of information to be filtered in the participants’ field of view. Sample consisted of 122 college students (63 males and 59 females) ranging in age from 17 to 36. Participants’ task was to throw 18 darts at the center of targets 45 cm, 30 cm and 15 cm in diameter. Performance was measured as radial distance from the bulls-eye of each dart. One way ANOVA, Repeated Measure of ANOVA was used in the analysis of the obtained data. The results of our study showed that dart throwing performance gave better results in cases where target’s field of view was reduced, compared to the ones in which target’s field of view was increased. Consistent with Broadbent’s central claim, results showed that fewer stimuli in the field of view required less processing, thus, better performance. Also, those subjects that were exercising regularly did better than the ones that were not exercising. This study provides evidence that reducing target’s field of view in dart throwing increases the chances to obtain better results.
