Mata Induráin,Carlos;
Alpha (Osorno) , 2011, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-22012011000200013
Abstract: this article analyzes how in the sacramental play la araucana by lope de vega, the matter of arauco is approached in the allegorical structure. in this drama, caupolicán, the araucanian leader, appears as a figure or type of christ, while the araucanian struggle for freedom is an image of the redemption of the human genre. this auto has generated some attention in the critics, because of the relation that this play has with the arauco domado by lope, and particularly because of its novel character, that supposes the vision of the american native (the other) as a being that can symbolize christ-man in an allegorical figure.

Revista chilena de literatura , 2011, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-22952011000100005
Abstract: descripción de las grandezas de la ciudad de santiago de chile is one of the few texts included in the satirical and comic textual corpus of colonial chilean poetry. the authorship is still controversial. recently, some critical editions have been made, although they are not fully acceptable taking into consideration the textual fixation. this paper intends to point out the weaknesses in those modern editions, and consequently the need of a new one. the prospective new edition should follow rigorous philological criteria and a complete annotation to clarify the prolific dialogical games and witticisms present all along the descripción verses.

LA GUERRA DE ARAUCO EN CLAVE ALEGóRICA: EL AUTO SACRAMENTAL DE LA ARAUCANA The war of Arauco in allegorical code: The auto sacramental La Araucana
Carlos Mata Induráin
Alpha (Osorno) , 2011,
This article analyzes how in the sacramental play La Araucana by Lope de Vega, the matter of Arauco is approached in the allegorical structure. In this drama, Caupolicán, the araucanian leader, appears as a figure or type of Christ, while the Araucanian struggle for freedom is an image of the redemption of the human genre. La comedia burlesca del Siglo de Oro: La mayor haza a de Carlos VI, de Manuel de Pina
Carlos Mata Induráin
Revista Signos , 2001,
Abstract: En este trabajo se estudia la comedia burlesca del Siglo de Oro, un subgénero dramático muy poco atendido por la crítica hasta fechas recientes. Se trata de un corpus de unas cincuenta comedias que parodian otras serias, o bien temas y estructuras dramáticas de la comedia nueva. Se representaban por Carnaval y en el palacio real, ante un público cortesano, y en ellas funcionan las técnicas del "mundo al revés" carnavalesco: inversión de los valores serios, ruptura del decoro, comicidad escénica y verbal. En una segunda parte se analizan los recursos paródicos de la comedia burlesca con ejemplos extractados de "La mayor haza a de Carlos VI", comedia escrita por el converso Manuel de Pina. This paper is about the burlesque comedy of the "Siglo de Oro" (Golden Century) in Spain. This is a sub-genre to wish the critics had given very little consideration till very recently. Mata,Lourdes;
Análise Psicológica , 2004,
Abstract: one important activity in family literacy practices is storybook reading. some studies have emphasized that storybook reading is an informal and positive way to create important and enjoyable opportunities to transmit concepts, knowledge, conventions and competences about literacy which are associated with reading motivation and success in terms of literacy acquisition. therefore, we have attempted to characterize some aspects of storybook reading practices in families with 5-6 year old children (e.g. frequency, time; interest; reasons why parents read to their children and at what age they begin doing it). we also studied associations between storybook reading practices and emergent literacy knowledge. our results showed an evident association between some aspects of storybook reading practices, and children's conceptualizations about written language, their perceptions about the functions of reading and writing, and also some aspects of their motivational profile.
Literacia - O papel da família na sua apreens?o
Mata,Lourdes;
Análise Psicológica , 1999,
Abstract: recent approaches to young children?s literacy development emphasise this process as very early one. literacy development doesn?t begin neither when children start formal instruction, nor when they begin to acquire reading and writing mechanical skills. thus the roots of literacy development are established very early in life, through real life contacts with reading and writing. so as an early social process it is very important to consider the contribute of the family in promoting these contacts and facilitating the exploration of print. when interacting socially with others and with literacy in real-life settings through reallife activities: -children will discover functions and forms of print through shared literacy activities -parents will act as models when using literacy. -parents will support and motivate the children in their discoveries. the purpose of this article is to provide a brief overview of home literacy environments and the characteristics of home reading and writing activities. we also pretend to analyse the parents? perception of these activities and the values and attitudes parents hold with respect to family literacy.
