BIENESTAR PSICOLóGICO: EL ESTRéS Y LA CALIDAD DE VIDA EN EL CONTEXTO LABORAL
María Martha Durán
Revista Nacional de Administración , 2010,
Abstract: The changing environment in which we currentlylive has been translated into increased competitionand demands for organizations. This situationaffects employees by generating high levelsof pressure, which in turn become an everydaypart of work. This leads to the emergence of theso-called occupational diseases: stress, burnout,addiction to work and others. Emotional or psychologicalfactors play a decisive role in such diseases.This article discusses aspects related to the quality of professionallife and occupational stress by pointing out personaland organizational implications as well as preventionand coping strategies at both levels.

Una propuesta innovadora de evaluación en geometría
Ferrero, María Martha;Ferraris, Cristina;
Educación matemática , 2008,
Abstract: we describe a partial evaluation modality, implemented in the courses of euclidean geometry of the plane and euclidean geometry of the space, which are part of the mathematical education studies of the bariloche regional university center. this proposal of evaluation allows to overcome its function as mere accreditation. the work begins with the assignation to the students of individual and collective problems; then, after one week, follows the oral and written presentation of the student productions; and it culminates with the accreditation. the implementation of this modality demands the preparation and selection of problems. the characteristics of this modality of evaluation are: to consider students' appropriation time of the knowledge, to stimulate them to investigate about the subject to evaluate, to develop communication abilities and to be integrated to the dynamics of the subject, without causing cuts in the teaching-learning process.
Los ensayos clínicos y su contribución a la salud pública cubana Clinical trials and their contribution to Cuban public health
Public health has advanced in recent years in order to improve the quality of scientific evidence supporting interventions and specific health actions. The evaluation of the effectiveness of interventions in the clinical setting is mainly based on the design of randomized controlled trials which serve, despite their limitations, as one of the most trusted sources for making public health decisions. On the other hand, there are controversies between the investigators, institutions and the public health systems, due to some uncertainty about the generalization of these results in the public health. The differences between the characteristics of the researchers' world and those of the world of policymakers, including deadlines, interests and priorities, can contribute to these controversies, thus preventing the connection of research findings to decision-makers in this field. This paper made some considerations in this regard and briefly explained the present situation in Cuba.

Por qué delinquen las mujeres? Perspectivas teóricas tradicionales. Parte I
Martha Romero,Rosa María Aguilera
Salud mental , 2002,
Study Nanostructure of a Biomaterial with Medicine Therapeutic Activity  [PDF]
Marilú Chávez-Castillo, Martha Lilia Domínguez-Pati?o, Rosa María Melgoza-Alemán
Microscopy Research (MR) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/mr.2016.42004
Abstract: In Mexico, the medicinal plants have been for used since ancient times and still continue to use by rural populations to treat conditions such as infectious diseases (skin, gastrointestinal or respiratory), metabolics, inflammatory problems, among others. This work includes a proposal that initiates the study and development of new biomaterials or vehicles with therapeutic application. The nanomolecular interaction of the organic extract of a plant (EOV) Distictis buccinatoria (dc) with different materials inert supports of inorganic type (bentonite, gel) determining their and combined anti-inflammatory activity is studied individually [1] [2]. The importance of the characterization of biomaterials by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) is ability to analyze the structure on the surface of materials (organic, inorganic and biological) in the micro and nanometrics levels in order to correlate it with the sample surface properties such as roughness, interfacial phenomena, etc. With this technique we can also perform the chemical analysis at different levels (micro and nano) for information on the nature and composition of the materials [3] [4]. The biomaterial shows that higher anti-inflammatory activity is to be generated through the combination of EOV-gel, the nanostructure interaction SEM shows integrated particles agglome-rated form and porous due to the presence of EOV and some flat areas indicated the gel preponderance situation generated by the low interaction between materials of organic type and polar type (gel).
Los orígenes de la marca país Colombia es pasión
Echeverri,Lina María; Rosker,Eduardo; Restrepo,Martha Lucía;
Estudios y perspectivas en turismo , 2010,
Abstract: among all the other forms and models of organizations that exist in the world, a country is the most complex of them all. a large number of nations in the world do have problems of image however, they do not know how to address and handle properly this situation. the image of a country reflects the prestige of its population, its companies and its natural attributes. the purpose of this paper is to present the brand building process through the study case of colombia is passion. the hypothesis of the working paper suggests that the initial purpose of creating a country brand for colombia is distorted towards the development of multiple sales-oriented activities of an advertising campaign at the national level instead of focusing on brand management.
Antifungal Formulation Based on Saturated Sucrose Solution: Evaluation of its potential genotoxic activity using the Allium cepa test
Bich,Gustavo A.; Vedoya,María C.; Medvedeff,Martha G.;
Revista de ciencia y tecnolog?-a , 2012,
Abstract: in the present study, the potential genotoxicity effects of the antifungal formulation based on saturated sucrose solution were evaluated employing the allium cepa test. five exposure times were evaluated, mineral water was used as negative control, and experiments were carried out in duplicate. for statistical analysis, one-way analysis of variance (anova) and tukey hsd post-test were used (statistical significance a = 0.05). frequencies of chromosomal abnormalities ranged from 0% to 0.24%. we conclude that the antifungal formulation based on sucrose saturated solution did not present a significant genotoxic activity, considering the results of the present study involving the allium cepa test.
