ALGUNAS VERDADES SOBRE EL CAFé
Gotteland,Martín; de Pablo V,Saturnino;
Revista chilena de nutrición , 2007, DOI: 10.4067/S0717-75182007000200002
Abstract: coffee is one of the most widely consumed beverages in the world due to its organoleptic properties and its ability to keep individuals alert. however, its consumption is frequently associated with negative health effects. this paper reviews the most recent information about the relation between coffee and health. a number of epidemiological studies carried out in the last decade consistently show that coffee intake is related to a lower risk of type-2 diabetes, liver damage, and neurodegenerative diseases such as parkinson. the mechanisms which could explain these observations are not clearly understood yet, but they could be related to the unique profile and high concentrations of antioxidants in coffee, particularly chlorogenic acid
ALGUNAS VERDADES SOBRE EL CAFé SOME TRUES CONCERNING COFFEE

MATERIALISMO E IDEALISMO EN LA POéTICA Y EN EL PENSAMIENTO POLíTICO DE PERCY B. SHELLEY
San Martín Várela,Pablo;
Revista chilena de literatura , 2012, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-22952012000100006
Abstract: this essay presents a reading of the relationship between the poetics and political thinking of the english romantic poet percy bysshe shelley. the analysis centers on his main theoretical works, but also endeavors to establish some general relations to different moments of his poetic production. the reading develops the contradiction that is posed by the conjunction of a historical materialism of godwinian origin and a political idealism more proper to the humanistic tradition. in this context, this paper proposes that the communicating vessel between shelley's political and aesthetic thinking is the idealistic assumption of continuity between conscience, will and social reality, which enables him to identify hiss poetic project with hiss politics. the essay concludes by understanding this contradiction within the logic of utopian socialism, as it has been characterized by the historian perry anderson.
MATERIALISMO E IDEALISMO EN LA POéTICA Y EN EL PENSAMIENTO POLíTICO DE PERCY B. SHELLEY
Abstract: Council Vatican II (1962-1965) supposed a very important change in many aspects of catholic faith, included the concept of Church. A part of clergy considered that it was the moment to break with the rigid structures of this institution, based in the importance of hierarchy and order, and it meant an unavoidable conflict with the different ecclesial authorities. In the case of Spain, this problem turned bigger because of the confusion of changes in Catholic Church with the targets for democratization of a society that was under authoritism of Franco’s Regime.
Abstract: The present article is centred in one of the conflicts less known about relations Catholic Church-Spanish State after Council Vatican II: the one who could be called case Palenzuela , a matter of possible indictment that never went so far as to take place because of the events in spanish politics (the change in Presidency of Government, when Carlos Arias Navarro relieved murdered Admiral Carrero Blanco), betting for a line of dialogue opened with the Holy See (fastly frustrated by facts like case A overos ) that, in any case, never went so far as to obtain fruits of authentic trascendency.
Abstract: The Council Vatican II was a decisive effort to change the relation between the Catholic Church and the State in Spain. The Concordat of 1953, that was the juridic marc for the regulation of the relation of the Catholicism and Franco's Regime, had to be renegociated after been left in an anacronic situation. As both powers were in a growing conflict, the designation of Laureano López Rodó for the ministery of Foreign Affairs made possible the celebration of a first meeting after the defeat of Anteproyecto Casaroli-Garrigues inl971, February.

PLOS ONE , 2014, DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0099426
Abstract: The aim of this study was to analyse the distribution of KIR haplotypes and the KIR2DL2/3 alleles in chronic HCV-infected patients in order to establish the influence on the response to pegylated interferon plus ribavirin classical treatment. The alleles study of previously associated KIR2DL2/3 showed that KIR2DL2*001 was more frequent in non-SVR (NSVR) (42.2% vs. 27.5%, p<0.05) and KIR2DL3*001 was associated with sustained viral response (SVR) (41.6% vs. 61.2%, p<0.005). The KIR2DL3*001-HLA-C1 association was also significant (24.5% vs. 45.7%, p<0.001). From the frequencies of KIR obtained, 35 genotypes were assigned on the basis of previous studies. The centromeric A/A genotype was more frequent in SVR (44.1% vs. 34.5%, p<0.005) and the centromeric B/B genotype was found to be significantly more frequent in NSVR (20.9% vs. 11.2%, p<0.001). The logic regression model showed the importance of KIR genes in predicting the response to combined treatment, since the positive predictive value (PPV) was improved (from 55.9% to 75.3%) when the analysis of KIR was included in addition to the IFNL3 rs12979860 polymorphism. The study of KIR receptors may be a powerful tool for predicting the combined treatment response in patients with chronic HCV infection in association with the determination of IFNL3 polymorphism.
