Abstract: strip cartoons had a captive market for more than twenty years in brazil and millions of readers eagerly consumed stories published in magazines with national circulation. nevertheless this type of vehicle was almost completely ignored by scholars and considered a sub-genre of literature, and its reading public considered as of low cultural capacity and low income level. however, is it possible for the historian not to recognize cartoon strips as a social practice? could mass culture have created an enormous number of readers without face and taste? these questions bring to the fore the feminist social movements in brazil and the reading practices of the fifties and sixties.

Abstract: The critical ones of Nietzsche against History did not aim at discipline it accurately and yes the historians who, for it, cultivated a senile and declining history. By the way, he was as soon as it understood the science of its century. History would have to surpass the illness of the eighteenth man becoming a mix of sorts, namely, critic, traditional and monumental.

Giuseppe Galli
Rivista Internazionale di Filosofia e Psicologia , 2012,
Abstract: Gestalt Psychology as a School of Respect - Respect as “phenomenological principle” means that one must respect phenomenal reality in the same way as physical reality. Respect as “epistemological principle” means that studying the self of the other the researcher must establish an intimate and equal relation with this person. This is not an accidental aspect, but one of the basic epistemological factors of the “field” in the sense of Lewin’s “action-research”. Respect as “educational principle” means that in the caring for a living being we must respect its inner factors and conditions and its rhythm of development.

Trastornos obsesivos compulsivos (TOC): Avances imagenológicos - Obsessive-compulsive disorder: Advances in brain imaging.
Galli; Enrique.
Alasbimn Journal , 2000,
In the past twenty years functional brain imaging has advanced to the point of tackling the differential diagnosis, prognosis and therapeutic response in Neurology and Psychiatry. Psychiatric disorders were rendered "functional" a century ago; however nowadays they can be seen by means of brain imaging.Functional images in positron emission tomography (PET) and single photon emission tomography (NEUROSPET) show in non-invasive fashion the state of brain functioning. PET does this assessing glucose metabolism and NEUROSPET by putting cerebral blood flow in images.Prevalence of OCD is clearly low (2 to 3%), but comorbidity with depression, psychoses, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia is high.Furthermore, it is not infrequent with autism, attention disorder, tichotillomany, borderline personality disorders, in pathological compulsive spending, sexual compulsion and in pathologic
Giovanni Galli
Montesquieu.it : Biblioteca Elettronica su Montesquieu e Dintorni , 2012,
Abstract: Montesquieu is widely known as one of the most important and influential authors of the French Enlightenment. The anthology of collected essays reviewed below, Lo spirito della politica. Letture di Montesquieu, edited by Domenico Felice, finds its name from one of the Montesquieu’s books entitled, De l’esprit des lois, written in 1748. Many authors from the twentieth century have studied different issues about Montesquieu’s opus maius. Some of the main arguments they discuss, like the method of his work and its relation with the Aristotelian empirical enterprise, or the differences between the claims of his thinking and that of Rousseau and many other, are now presented inside this collection of essays. It could be a useful guide for those who would like to start the study of Montesquieu’s ideas.
Claudel : traduire, écrire, prier
Pauline Galli
Intercambio , 2010,
Abstract: Since the very beginning of his career as a poet, Paul Claudel’s creation goes with a translation work, which accompanies it over many years. The two main texts on which he works are very different: the biblical Psalms and Aeschylus’ Oresteia. This cultural gap between Claudel’s choices of translation reveals a peculiar conception of writing. We will study, in each case, the part Claudel gives to creation in his translation works, but it also may be interesting to think about the links between these translations and Claudel’s own poetic and dramatic work. Eventually, as Claudel is a fervent Christian, writing and translation are linked by a third notion, possibly surprising: prayer, considered as the pure and spontaneous expression of individual inwardness.
