O enfermeiro na equipe de saúde mental: o caso dos CERSAMS de Belo Horizonte

Abstract: at the moment, the mental health centers represent an important initiative in the conduction of psychiatric reform. they have a strategic role against the hospital centered model and inaugurate a space of interaction with the mental disorders, reinventing the clinical space. this study aimed at describing nurses' activities in the teams of the mental health centers, maintained by the municipal health department in the city of belo horizonte, state of minas gerais, brazil, focusing on the care and follow-up of patients with mental disorders. this is a qualitative study and data were collected through semi structured interviews, analyzed by discourse analysis. eight nurses were the subjects of this research. results showed an inclusion of the interdisciplinary work in this centers, assuming the clinical conduction of the treatment to patients with mental disorders as well as helping them in the trajectory and construction of links with the treatment.

Abstract: Os Centros de Referência em Saúde Mental (CERSAMS) representam hoje um dispositivo nuclear para fazer frente à proposta de Reforma Psiquiátrica. Assumem lugar estratégico contra o modelo hospitalocêntrico e inauguram espa o de interlocu o com a loucura, reinventando o trabalho clínico. Este estudo tem como objetivo descrever as atividades do enfermeiro nas equipes dos CERSAMS da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde de Belo Horizonte, MG, focalizando o atendimento e seguimento ao doente mental. Trata-se de estudo qualitativo, cujos dados foram coletados através de entrevista semi-estruturada e submetido à análise do discurso. Foram sujeitos desta pesquisa oito enfermeiros inseridos nas equipes de saúde mental. Os resultados apontam sua inser o no trabalho interdisciplinar, assumindo a condu o clínica do atendimento ao doente mental, auxiliando-o no seu percurso e na constru o de vínculos com o tratamento.

Abstract: this is a descriptive study about the illness-absenteism process among workers in a large emergency hospital in the city of belo horizonte, in 2002. the illness- absenteeism process was analyzed considering frequency, reason (dic10), duration and risk, according to the different professions. the professional categories were: support, administration, nursing and medicine. the rate illness-absenteísm in this hospital was 2,06. the possibility for leave of absence for each profession was 4,7. this rate was influenced by with rate 8,48. found in the category missing. the main reason for leave of absences was related to orthopedics diseases (14,68%), other health problems (13,59%) and respiratory diseases (13,32%).

Abstract: reflections on power relations in nursing practice involves questions related to the daily practice of nursing staff as well the subjectivity of those involved in them. nursing practice is more than a practice in itself. it assumes the dimension of meaning assumed by different subjects who interact in the places where it happens. it is proposed a reflection about power relations in nursing practice considering its complexity, the many processes which constitute it and the circumstances that determine the ways of thinking and acting in relation to them. it implies to think about subject's subjectivity, how professional boundaries are established, and which are these relations effects to subjects involved, since power relations are shaped in continuous transformations.

Abstract: O trabalho do Servi o de Atendimento Médico de Urgência (SAMU) envolve a participa o de diversos profissionais que atendem a demandas de diferentes níveis de complexidade, em um amplo território geográfico, com um planejamento de trabalho diferente dos servi os com estruturas exclusivamente fixas. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar a configura o de práticas de poder no cotidiano do trabalho dos profissionais do SAMU. Trata-se de um estudo de caso qualitativo, cujo cenário foi o SAMU de Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brasil. A amostra foi composta por 31 trabalhadores, e os dados coletados por entrevista semiestruturada e submetidos à análise de discurso. No contexto das lutas e práticas de poder, destacam-se 'o poder da vaga-zero' e os 'corpos uniformes e imagens de poder no SAMU'. Percebe-se que, no SAMU, o poder está presente como prática social, com sua centralidade se deslocando de acordo com as situa es vivenciadas e os interesses em quest o. El trabajo en el Departamento de Atención Médica de Emergencia (SAMU) implica la participación de varios profesionales que respondan a las demandas de los diferentes niveles de complejidad, en un territorio geográfico amplio, con una planificación de trabajo diferente de servicios exclusivamente con estructuras fijas. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la configuración de prácticas de poder en el trabajo de los profesionales en el SAMU. Es un estudio de caso cualitativo, desarrollado en el SAMU de Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brasil. La muestra fue de 31 trabajadores. Los datos recogidos a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas fueron sometidos a análisis del discurso. En el contexto de las luchas y las prácticas de poder se destacan el 'poder de vaga-cero' y 'cuerpos uniformes y las imágenes de poder en el SAMU'. Se observó que en el SAMU, el poder está presente como una práctica social, con el centro del movimiento de acuerdo a las situaciones vividas y los intereses en cuestión. The work of Mobile Emergency Medical Service (SAMU) involves the participation of several professionals that meet the demands of different levels of complexity in a huge geographic territory, with planning different of services with exclusively fixed structures. The aim of this study was to analyze the configuration of practices of power in the daily work of professionals of the SAMU. It was a qualitative case study which had been set in the SAMU of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The sample was composed by 31 workers and data were collected using semi-structured interview and than submitted to discourse analysis.

Abstract: O objetivo do estudo foi analisar, na perspectiva de profissionais, as principais barreiras de comunica o vivenciadas no decorrer do processo de acredita o em um hospital privado de médio porte de Belo Horizonte. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, envolvendo 34 profissionais de saúde de categorias diferentes. Os resultados da pesquisa mostraram que a escassez de informa o, a falta de objetividade, clareza e integridade no repasse de conhecimento favorecem a ruptura da presta o de servi os de qualidade. A comunica o organizacional é uma ferramenta eficaz para subsidiar mudan as importantes nas empresas, como o alcance da acredita o hospitalar. Articulando a mudan a de forma concisa e clara no que se refere à comunica o, poderá ser alcan ado perenemente o padr o de qualidade. El objetivo de la investigación era examinar la perspectiva de los profesionales, las barreras principales de comunicación experimentadas durante el proceso de acreditación en un hospital particular medio en Belo Horizonte. Se trata de un estudio cualitativo envolviendo 34 profesionales de la salud de las diferentes categorías. Los resultados del estudio mostraron que la escasez de información, la falta de objetividad, integridad y claridad en la transferencia del conocimiento favorece la ruptura de la prestación de servicios de calidad. La comunicación organizacional es un instrumento eficaz para respaldar los cambios importantes en las empresas, como es el alcance de la acreditación hospitalaria. Al correlacionar el cambio de forma concisa y clara, con lo que se refiere a la comunicación, se puede lograr estándares de calidad perenne. The research objective was to examine the perspective of professionals, the major communication barriers experienced during the Accreditation process in a medium sized private hospital in Belo Horizonte. This is a qualitative study involving 34 health professionals from different categories. The survey results showed that the shortage of information, lack of objectivity, integrity and explicitness in the transfer of knowledge favors the rupture of the provision of quality services. The organizational communication is an effective tool to support major changes in companies, as it is the scope of hospital accreditation. Articulating the change in a concise manner, with focus on the communication, can be achieved the quality standard.

Abstract: objective: to know the process of the nurse work in a service of home care in the city of belo horizonte- minas gerais, brazil. methodology: a study of qualitative nature was accomplished in a firm of home care, whose subjects were nurses which work in the management and in the implementation of cares. the data were collected through interviews and submitted to the speech analysis. results: male nurses assume strategic duty / or activities in the interdisciplinary, work in the relationship with the clientele and in the management of the company. the work is dynamic and flexible, the family exercises a fundamental duty / or activities in the surveillance of the cares rendered by the team and as a partner in the continuity of the same ones. the communication and the professional posture in the relationship with the clientele are essential for the caretakers? acceptance. conclusion: the nurse larger autonomy is pointed out, which has shown skilful in the relationships and in the use of light technologies, based on people subjectivity, in the care to the customer in spite of the interference of several factors in the daily work.

Abstract: objective: this study sought to understand how social violence affects the work of family health teams in a basic health unit in belo horizonte - mg. methods: this is a qualitative case study. data were collected by semistructured interviews with 12 individuals working in a basic health unit in belo horizonte - two nurses, five auxillary nurses, three acs's, a doctor and a guard - interviews were then subjected to discourse analysis. results: the workers recognized the violent situations in the community where they work; they feel fear, insecurity, and adopt several defense mechanisms to reduce suffering. they also reported feeling hurt by their poor working conditions. conclusion: the effectiveness of health care is challenged by violence, and it and requires strategies for coping with the same within the unit by establishing links with other social institutions.

Abstract: the intravascular large b-cell lymphoma (ivlbcl) is a rare disease characterized by neoplastic proliferation of lymphoid cells within capillaries. we report a case of ivlbcl in a young female patient with bilateral involvement of the adrenal gland. immunohistochemical examination confirmed ivlbcl. the relationship between endocrine organs and lymphoid cells is a hypothesis to explain the correlation observed between ivlbcl and the involvement of the adrenal gland. moreover, the association between ivlbcl and the described symptomatology seems to reflect a pattern that may assist in a more effective diagnosis.

Abstract: from a historical-critical perspective, this article deals with the trajectory of the basic cycle in s?o paulo state school system from the moment of its creation till the 1990s. it also discusses the actions and reactions brought about by the proposal and by the curricular reorganization of the middle school resulting from this initiative. the documental study starts from the motivations that guided the education policy at a moment of political opening, when the first elected government took office in the state of s?o paulo, after the long period of military regime. the varied reactions from education professionals and from civil society, most of which were against the measures set forth, are then analyzed. what are the reasons that have systematically led to the failure of proposals committed to ensure regular education for people on the lowest incomes? the discussion highlights the strong presence of a conservative thought that permeates pedagogical culture in brazil, that is against proposals that, similar to the one of basic cycle, are committed to the democratization of education.
