Energy Efficient Path Determination in Wireless Sensor Network Using BFS Approach  [PDF]

Abstract: The wireless sensor networks (WSN) are formed by a large number of sensor nodes working together to provide a specific duty. However, the low energy capacity assigned to each node prompts users to look at an important design challenge such as lifetime maximization. Therefore, designing effective routing techniques that conserve scarce energy resources is a critical issue in WSN. Though, the chain-based routing is one of significant routing mechanisms but several common flaws, such as data propagation delay and redundant transmission, are associated with it. In this paper, we will be proposing an energy efficient technique based on graph theory that can be used to find out minimum path based on some defined conditions from a source node to the destination node. Initially, a sensor area is divided into number of levels by a base station based on signal strength. It is important to note that this technique will always found out minimum path and even alternate path are also saved in case of node failure.

Abstract: Today in this world we are surrounded of technologies like smart phone technology.In smart phone there is an option GPS that is being used these days very much for checking in our location and navigate the google maps.But what about those cell phones which are having ANDROID operating system but no having option of GPS.This paper deals with the NAVIGATING THE CURRENT LOCATION WITHOUT THE AVAILABILITY OF GPS.Because GPS is having some limitations.First GPS may or may not be available in all smart phones.This application which we developed will work in the phones which are not having feature of GPS.

Abstract: Anatomic variations are common in human dentition. A clear understanding of these variations is very important for success of endodontic treatment. A dentist should be aware of these anatomic variations as this can affect the treatment outcome. A case of endodontic therapy is presented in which inability to locate an anatomically rare supplemental canal of a three rooted mandibular first molar resulted in treatment failure. A 21-year-old female reported with pain and swelling in relation to lower right first molar. An intra oral periapical radiograph revealed 3 roots; the first canal of the mesial root and a canal of one of the distal roots were found to be treated endodontically, which were infraobturated but the canal of the 2nd distal root had not been treated. The radiograph revealed periapical radiolucency and widening of periodontal space. Prior to starting the endodontic treatment the clinician must be aware of the anatomic variations in tooth pulp morphology and also the importance of preoperative radiographs cannot be underscored.

Abstract: The important foodborne zoonotic pathogen Salmonella causes gastroenteritis. The dynamics of host-pathogen Salmonella interaction and infection might enhance the development of novel tar-geted preventative measures and drug regimens. The lon and cpxR are virulence associated genes, which have an important role in the Salmonella pathogenesis. However, the deletions of lon and cpxRlead to the construction of genetically engineered live Salmonella vaccine candidate. In this review, lon and cpxR genes are focused for their involvement in Salmonella pathogenesis. Furthermore, the importance of these genes was briefly emphasized during the construction of Salmonella vaccine candidate.
Periosteum: A Highly Underrated Tool in Dentistry

Abstract: The ultimate goal of any dental treatment is the regeneration of lost tissues and alveolar bone. Under the appropriate culture conditions, periosteal cells secrete extracellular matrix and form a membranous structure. The periosteum can be easily harvested from the patient's own oral cavity, where the resulting donor site wound is invisible. Owing to the above reasons, the periosteum offers a rich cell source for bone tissue engineering; hence, the regenerative potential of periosteum is immense. Although the use of periosteum as a regenerative tool has been extensive in general medical field, the regenerative potential of periosteum is highly underestimated in dentistry; therefore, the present paper reviews the current literature related to the regenerative potential of periosteum and gives an insight to the future use of periosteum in dentistry.

Abstract: A new charged state, called $Z_c(3900)$ has been recently observed by BESIII collaboration in $J/\psi\pi^{\pm}$ channel. The same has been confirmed by Belle (called Z(3894.5 in the Belle paper). In this short note we discuss probable interpretations of this charmonium like state which we call Z(3900).
On non-minimal coupling of the inflaton

Abstract: The non-minimal coupling of the inflaton to gravity, $\xi R\phi^2$, is known to alleviate the smallness (fine-tuning) of the quartic coupling $\lambda$ in the chaotic inflation with $\phi^4$ potential. A large $\xi$ is required to obtain the correct CMB power spectrum while we find that a small value $\sim 1/6$ seems to be preferred from spectral index. There are issues related to conformal transformations, choice of frame and natural value(s) of $\xi$ for a given potential. We revisit some of these issues and invoke certain field theoretic arguments in order to address the same. A rather strong and general conclusion reached, based on the requirements of renormalizability and finiteness of specific matrix elements in a quantum theory, is that it is generically not possible to eliminate the non-minimal coupling by going from the Jordan to the Einstein frame via conformal transformations. We also comment on Higgs inflation.
CP asymmetry in $B^{+}\to K^+\pi^{0}$ and New Physics

Abstract: The CP asymmetry in $B^0\to K^+\pi^-$ is expected to be similar to that in $B^+\to K^+\pi^0$. The experimental data however show $\sim 5\sigma$ difference between the two, leading to the so called $\Delta {A}_{K\pi}$ puzzle. Employing sum rule(s) following from (approximate) flavour symmetry, we show that it is possible to accommodate the observed experimental values within the standard model (SM) for a narrow range of parameters. Sub-leading terms can bring the theoretical predictions in better agreement with the data. Resolution via modified electroweak penguin contributions is possible for a large CP violating phase generated by the new physics. However, the data on polarization in $B\to VV(T)$, $B_s$-$\bar{B}_s$ mixing (and large CP phase) and $B^+\to\tau^+\nu_{\tau}$ rate can not be simultaneously accommodated within SM or new physics with only enhanced electroweak penguins. A plausible resolution to these, and not spoiling the $B\to K\pi$ rates and asymmetries, could be a general two Higgs doublet model.
