Constitui??o, soberania e ditadura em Carl Schmitt
Macedo Júnior, Ronaldo Porto;
Lua Nova: Revista de Cultura e Política , 1997, DOI: 10.1590/S0102-64451997000300005
Abstract: on the basis of a reconstruction of schmitt's decisionism and of the analysis of its effects on key terms of his conception like democracy, sovereignty and dictatorship, schmitts thought is examined regarding his theoretical and practical positions on the constitutional issues of weimar's germany and of national-socialism. special attention is given to how for him the unity and the hierarchy of the political powers and of the law demand a strong state and a centralized command instead of a pluralistic balance.
O decisionismo jurídico de Carl Schmitt
Macedo Júnior, Ronaldo Porto;
Lua Nova: Revista de Cultura e Política , 1994, DOI: 10.1590/S0102-64451994000100011
Abstract: carl schmitt's name is irrevocably linked to the label of decisionism, the theory according to which the ultimate foundation of right is the sovereign's political decision. this paper aims to show how the juridical decisionism of schmitt has changed without becoming contraditory as it assimilated in the thirties the '"juridical institutionalism" of authors like hauriou and santi romano. following those years schmitt worked out the meaning of a decisionism based on the "concrete order thought", namely, the institutionalist decisionism.
Espectroscopia de Ressonancia Magnética Nuclear de 13C no estudo de rotas biossintéticas de produtos naturais
Macedo Júnior, Fernando César de;
Química Nova , 2007, DOI: 10.1590/S0100-40422007000100023
Abstract: during the last five decades, as a result of an interaction between natural product chemistry, synthetic organic chemistry, molecular biology and spectroscopy, scientists reached an extraordinary level of comprehension about the natural processes by which living organisms build up complex molecules. in this context, 13c nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, allied with isotopic labeling, played a determinant role. nowadays, the widespread use of modern nmr techniques allows an even more detailed picture of the biochemical steps by accurate manipulation of the atomic nuclei. this article focuses on the development of such techniques and their impact on biosynthetic studies.
Balan?o de energia em vinhedo de 'Niagara Rosada'
Pezzopane, José Ricardo Macedo;Pedro Júnior, Mário José;
Bragantia , 2003, DOI: 10.1590/S0006-87052003000100019
Abstract: the energy balance method was used to characterize the hourly variation of the net radiation, latent and sensible fluxes and soil heat flux on a mature vineyard grown at jundiaí, s?o paulo, brazil. the grapevines, cv. niagara rosada, in the vineyard were wrapped to trellis wires, creating compact hedgerows 2 m apart, 1.7 m height and 0.4 wide, with the foliage 1m above the soil surface. also, the net and incoming radiation relationships and the partioning of the available energy to the system into latent and heat flux, and soil heat flux were determined for the vineyard. during a sunny day (dry period) the latent heat flux was 44% of the net radiation and the sensible heat flux, 48%. however during a rainy day, the latent heat flux was 86% of the net radiation and the sensible heat flux, 21%. during a sunny day, after the occurrence of rain, the latent and sensible heat fluxes were, respectively, 68% and 29% of the net radiation. the soil heat flux was 5.7 an 1.3% of the net radiation, for bare soil and mulched rows, respectively.
Importancia do consumo da fibra para nutri o de ruminantes (Importance of consume of fiber for nutrition of ruminant)

REDVET , 2006,
The consume and the digestibility are key parameters in several systems of formulation of diets for ruminant. The measurement of those parameters is made necessary, because, these possess high correlation with the ingestion of matter dry and efficiency in the absorption and use of the nutrients. The consume of foods is influenced by several factors and, when the energy density of these it is lower, as it is the case of diets the base of roughage, the consumption can be limited by the effect of the stuffing.

Bragantia , 2003,

Rangel, Ramon Macedo;Amaral Júnior, Antonio Teixeira do;Freitas Júnior, Silvério de Paiva;
Ciência e Agrotecnologia , 2011, DOI: 10.1590/S1413-70542011000200001
Abstract: the objective of this work was to investigate the possibility of a more efficient selection through path analysis and partial correlation in the breeding program of the uenf popcorn population by recurrent selection. two hundred full-sib progenies were obtained and evaluated by eight traits in two environments in rio de janeiro state: campos dos goytacazes and itaocara. the genotypic correlation between popping expansion and grain yield was negative and non significant at the 5% probability level by t test. path analysis showed that mass weight of 100 grains is the most associated trait at popping expansion in this study. it is possible to obtain correlated response for popping expansion by grain yield, as long as genotypes with smaller grain size are selected from the genotypes with higher grain yield.

Health (Health) , 2017, DOI: 10.4236/health.2017.97078
Abstract:
Background: Among hemoglobinopathies, the most prevalent in our population are hemoglobins S and C, which are capable of producing disease when homozygous. In cases of double heterozygotes with sickle hemoglobin C (SC), the disease is less expressive in its clinical condition and rarer. Case report: Patient has a previous hospitalization with pain in the joints in knee and hip and several febrile peaks. Upon physical examination, the patient had difficulty in walking, without edema, pedal and tibial posterior pulses present, with no signs of compartment syndrome. Complementary exams revealed anemia, leukocytosis and lymphopenia. The hemoglobin electrophoresis showed the SC Hemoglobinopathy. The treatment with antibiotic therapy according to the protocol (Oxacillin and Ceftriaxone) was restarted and submitted to joint drainage in affected limb. Conclusion: Osteomyelitis and septic arthritis in patients in the pediatric age group should be considered as serious infections that deserve hospitalization and more expressive treatment.

Silvério de Paiva Freitas Júnior,Antonio Teixeira do Amaral Júnior,Ramon Macedo Rangel,Alexandre Pio Viana
Crop Breeding and Applied Biotechnology , 2009,
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the genetic progress in the fourth selection cycle of full-sibpopcorn families. Two hundred families were evaluated for six agronomic traits, including grain yield (GY) and poppingexpansion (PE), in a random block design with two replications, in sets in two different environments: Campos dos Goytacazesand Itaocara, in the State of Rio de Janeiro. There were significant differences among families within sets in all traits,indicating the presence of genetic variability to be exploited in the future cycles. The family by environment in the sets for GYand PE was significant but simple, indicating the possibility of conducting a single breeding program for both locations. Therelease of the improved variety for producers of the Northern and Northwestern regions of the State of Rio de Janeiro isexpected after the fifth cycle.
