NURE Investigación , 2012,
Abstract: Objetive: Knowing the level of emotional overload which the main informal caregiver of a mentally ill person has to undergo when admitted to a subacute unit, and valuing the existence of mood disorders (anxiety or depression) in the caregiver himself/herself, along with the impact for the caregiver of the patient admitted in a subacute unit. Method: A descriptive and transversal study carried out from a sample of 32 main caregivers of patients in the Unite of the Subacute in the Psyquiatric Hospital of Zaldibar, during 2010, being the measure instruments for that purpose the Zarit Scales for Caregiver Burden and the Goldberg Anxiety and Depression Scale (GADS). Results: The level of overload presented by a 53% of these caregivers is intense, coupled by a predominantly anxious mood with an average of 5.34 on the Goldberg Anxiety and Depression Scale (GADS). After admission, 69% of these caregivers reduce the overlead, and 59.5% improve in both anxiety and depression. Conclusions: The task of caring falls primarily on parents who expressed particularly fear for the future of their sons and daughters, and feel that they depend heavely on them wich generate a lot of overload.
Parra, Ma. Concepción Delgado;
Sociedade e Estado , 2012, DOI: 10.1590/S0102-69922012000100009
Abstract: this article discusses the emergence of citizenship, configured in the uprooting, since they refuse to traditional partnerships, based on legal rights, and in the political membership anchored to state sovereignty. to do this, we analyze the back of the notion of citizenship proposed by t. h. marshall, showing that under the principle of equality under the law nests the paradox of inclusion-exclusion, resulting in inequality. this contradiction is explored based on the category of contemporary nomadism, built from the perspective of postcolonial theory, which placed in the center, subjects that had been thrown to the margins of the instituted, such as the gathering at the edge of cultures, borders and memories. to achieve this approach, we propose a perspective that speaks to the rationalist tradition centered on the universal man, but also the recognition of difference.

Abstract: At the end of Middle Ages, in Castile, the high aristocracy were looking for his own identity like élite of power, in relationship with the monarchy, and making strong his nobility links.

Abstract: objective. the evaluation of a reading skill to critically read theoretical texts, interpretation; at different groups linked to investigation and, explore if a closer, longer experience with this, can influence this skill development. material and methods. an instrument that comprises a text on epistemologic aspects and the relation of science with society, was validated. it was applied on four natural groups, selected by a degree of involvement they had shown in health research: students at "pre-degree" (n = 23); students at post-degree (n = 19), academic administrative assessors (n = 17), and professional researchers (n = 20). results. reliability coeficients of the instrument were 0.91 y 0.94. from 74 as maximum score expected, medians of groups were 19 for pre-grade and post-grade students, 17 for assessors, and 21 for researchers (p = 0.50). conclusions. the not sufficient ability to critically read a text, that we supposed was more or lest related to all studied groups, come to be highly relevant, when a need for the researcher to acquire plain understanding, of the importance of his actions is acknowledged. and on the other hand, the fact that students on upper levels, be conscious of the reason why science is beforehand included in their education.

Adventitious regeneration is a key step in the application of genetic engineering to the breeding programs of plants. In this work a method for adventitious shoot regeneration from leaves of micropropagated guava shoots has been developed and some of main factors to affect the shoot regeneration like, concentration of plant growth regulators (citoquinine), physiological state of explants and the wound are studied. Leaves from guava in vitro cultured of variety Cuban Red Dwarf 18-40 was used like explant in all experiments. The best re-sult was reached with MS basal medium supplemented with 0.75 mg/L of 6-benzylaminopurine. Was de-monstrated that for the leaves with more multiplication subculture number and taken from lower part of shoot (older); the morfogenetic potential falls significantly (p<0.05). The highest shoot regeneration rate (>60%) and the largest number of shoot per regenerating leaf (>3) were obtained with several wounds carried out in f orm of jabs to the central nerve of leaves. This regeneration protocol constitutes an important tool that can be

Abstract: the assessment of knowledge after training fro pd is a routine activity; in our unit it is carried out using indicators relating to the following results criteria: handling of the process, of infection, of hydration, of nutrition/diet. knowledge is assessed in 71 patients. three levels of complexity in training were defined: level 3 (teaching about peritoneal dialysis given simultaneously with teaching on handling of the cycler), level 2 (training in capd and subsequently in handling the cycler) and level 1 (standard training with personally tailored objectives). the highest evaluations appear in the option of direct level 3 training which we have considered to be the most complex, which coincide with the youngest patients with the highest educational levels. this appears in all the indicators evaluated with slight modifications. in the level 2 option the time used in learning is significantly higher to obtain a similar level of knowledge as patients in the capd option, which consider the least complex. based on the results obtained, we consider that patients can complete learning in their chosen option, provided that they have a minimum educational level (they know how to read and write) and this does not entail a reduction in the level of knowledge acquired which appears to be more closely related to the age and educational level of the patient than with the complexity of the process.
