L’EXPRESSION DE LA CONCESSION à TRAVERS DES LOCUTIONS QUELQUE … QUE ET QUEL QUE ET LEURS éQUIVALENTS EN ESPAGNOL
Ma Carmen Molina Romero
Revista de Lingüística y Lenguas Aplicadas , 2010, DOI: 10.4995/rlyla.2010.759
Abstract: We intend to pay special attention to a particular diffi culty for French Language students in level B2/C1, whether their native language is Spanish, French or any other else. That is distinguishing "quelque" in form and function: fi rstly, between indefi nite determiner and adverb; secondly, between concessive constructions "quelque...que" and "quel que". These expressions manifest a phonetic similarity that must be solved when writing by means of a grammatical analysis and by a contrastive analysis with the Spanish equivalent construction through translation or "thème grammatical". Doing so will help us to adapt our teaching and face the special needs of our students within the European Higher Education Area framework.

Abstract: Translation and historical memory unite in a very special way in the case of the reception of Spanish authors writing in French. In the 21st century these authors are getting accessible in their mother tongue. Sixty years later they evidence a literature with the marks of a past confront-ing Spanish Civil War, exile and the com-mitment to oppose the new political re-gime. Agustín Gómez Arcos fits perfectly into this perspective for his fetish topic is Francoist Spain and his historical memory has linguistic memory too.

Abstract: the hospital de san juan de dios collaborates since 2002 with the hospital from st. john of god hospital in mabesseneh (sierra leone) when the last resumed its activity after the civil war of 1991. a part of this collaboration consists in sending a nurse and a paediatrician every two months. all these professional start the project with a "western" concept of health, with some ideas of change.... when they are back at home... what has happened? have they changed the african world or has it changed then? these are the main questions where our investigation comes from. methodology: non-directive interviews to seven nurses who had collaborated with the program. the obtained data were analysed by using the taylor and bogdan's method for the analysis of qualitative data. results: the interviewed people affirm that, after the experience, one learns to appreciate what is available in the western world. at the beginning it looks as if the nursery practice changes but, indeed, the human beings can adapt themselves to the environment either when arriving to africa or when departing from. the imprint of these experiences makes the person. very little differences are observed for people who have travelled more than once. discussion-conclusions: the experiences of each individual can be very different having in mind the objectives initially planned. the same can be said for the imprint of these experiences. but it is clear that, after a quite short time, any change in the nursing practice is not significant.

Abstract: the triple x syndrome is a relatively common chromosome abnormality, with an incident of 1 per 1,000 or 1,200 live new born infants, generally related to advanced maternal age. however, it is not usually suspected at birth due to the lack of a characteristic phenotype and, although dysmorphism may be variable, there is usually no clinical manifestation. this is why diagnosis is often delayed until after the presentation of primary ovary failure. facial dysmorphism and other related malformations, especially of genitourinary system, such as ambiguous genitalia, ovarian dysgenesis, cloacal exstrophy, renal agenesis and less frequently heart diseases or other diseases, have been rarely reported in the literature. the prognosis is variable, depending on the severity of the abnormalities, although cases of mental retardation have been described. most patients have normal or slightly below normal intelligence. we report a case of a girl diagnosed in the neonatal period with polymalformation syndrome, which included rare abnormalities, such as a peculiar facial dysmorphism, abnormal implantation of the thumb, bilateral hearing loss and congenital heart disease. the more common findings in this syndrome were also present such as psychomotor and language retardation. we emphasise the importance of early diagnosis for prompt installation of treatment.

Abstract: The introduction of the European Higher Education Area in a new culture of quality in Higher Education, makes us ask about the aspects that give quality to it. Among the quality factors in Higher Education we can find: University guidance and analysis of the graduate′s incorporation into the labour world. In this article we present the research we did in conducted at the six classes of graduates of Teaching in Physical Education from the University of Seville (N = 292). From the data we obteined, we can observe that 95% of the surveyed population does not ask for work or professional guidance during their degree and 63% of the surveyed population find their first job connected with the world of sport and physical activity, while 37% of this population has a work connected with other topics. Thus, we can conclude that most graduates of Teaching in Physical Education do not receive guidance for their incorporation into the labour world. This is why no everygraduate can get a job connected with the world of sport and physical activity.
