POLíTICA TURíSTICA COMúN: UN ESTUDO SOBRE AS IMPLICACIóNS DUNHA CONCEPCIóN NOUMéNICA DO TURISMO E SOBRE A VIABILIDADE DA SúA IMPLEMENTACIóN NA UE

Abstract: The Social Economy organizations, whatever their legal nature, have principles and values deeply linked with the territory, which emerge from their own capacity of development and its action reverses on this spatial framework and the functional and geographical interconnections that may be established from it.Their contribution to the creation of employment, the ability to generate socio-economic activities related directly and specifically to cover the needs of the territories, its impact on the risks of exclusion, its ability to put in value its own territorial identity, among other contributions, transform the institutions of "Social Economy" as agents involved in the regional process. In that territory, understood as a dynamic framework in continuous evolution, social changes impact directly, being the Social Economy, due to its specific characteristics, a viable proposal to carry these changes and promote the sustainable territorial development.Andalusia, autonomous community with the highest rate of unemployment in the whole country, is also the most representative of the Social Economy in Spain. Its behavior, in these days of crisis is showing a less unfavorable answer than the traditional capitalist economy taking into account the destruction of employment, especially between the women. In this paper we show, starting from the analysis of its main variables, the Social Economy as an additional bet that contributes to the improvement of the productivity of the territories and the social welfare, especially in disadvantaged areas such as the Andalusian case.

Introduction: with an aging population and increased survival of patients with chronic diseases and disabilities, the number of people needing care not only increases, but also the provision of services increases in demand. Objective: to characterize the informal care of dependent patients at the polyclinic "Héroes de Girón", in 2009. Methods: we conducted a cross-sectional study. We used a survey including the caregiver burden interview. The sample consisted of 42 caregivers of dependent patients at the polyclinic "Héroes de Girón", Cerro municipality; they correspond to the total of informal caregivers in the health area at the time of this study. Results: most of the dependent patients 30 (71.43 %) and caregivers 35 (83.33 %) were females, out of them 18 (42.86 %) were wives, the average age is 52 years, 17 (40.48 %) were housewives and 29 (69.05 %) devoted more than 12 hours a day to this care. The overload was present in 22 caregivers (52.38 %). Conclusions: less than half of caregivers presented overload; most of them were women aged 60 and over. They were housewives, daughters, or wives. They devoted more than 12 hours a day to this care. Over 90 % have not participated in any educational program.

Abstract: The transporter associated with antigen processing (TAP) translocates the cytosol-derived proteolytic peptides to the endoplasmic reticulum lumen where they complex with nascent human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I molecules. Non-functional TAP complexes and viral or tumoral blocking of these transporters leads to reduced HLA class I surface expression and a drastic change in the available peptide repertoire. Using mass spectrometry to analyze complex human leukocyte antigen HLA-bound peptide pools isolated from large numbers of TAP-deficient cells, we identified 334 TAP-independent ligands naturally presented by four different HLA-A, -B, and -C class I molecules with very different TAP dependency from the same cell line. The repertoire of TAP-independent peptides examined favored increased peptide lengths and a lack of strict binding motifs for all four HLA class I molecules studied. The TAP-independent peptidome arose from 182 parental proteins, the majority of which yielded one HLA ligand. In contrast, TAP-independent antigen processing of very few cellular proteins generated multiple HLA ligands. Comparison between TAP-independent peptidome and proteome of several subcellular locations suggests that the secretory vesicle-like organelles could be a relevant source of parental proteins for TAP-independent HLA ligands. Finally, a predominant endoproteolytic peptidase specificity for Arg/Lys or Leu/Phe residues in the P1 position of the scissile bond was found for the TAP-independent ligands. These data draw a new and intricate picture of TAP-independent pathways.

Abstract: Osteoarticular pathologies very often require an implementation therapy to favor regeneration processes of bone, cartilage and/or tendons. Clinical approaches performed on osteoarticular complications in dogs constitute an ideal model for human clinical translational applications. The adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ASCs) have already been used to accelerate and facilitate the regenerative process. ASCs can be maintained in vitro and they can be differentiated to osteocytes or chondrocytes offering a good tool for cell replacement therapies in human and veterinary medicine. Although ACSs can be easily obtained from adipose tissue, the amplification process is usually performed by a time consuming process of successive passages. In this work, we use canine ASCs obtained by using a Bioreactor device under GMP cell culture conditions that produces a minimum of 30 million cells within 2 weeks. This method provides a rapid and aseptic method for production of sufficient stem cells with potential further use in clinical applications. We show that plasma rich in growth factors (PRGF) treatment positively contributes to viability and proliferation of canine ASCs into caprolactone 2-(methacryloyloxy) ethyl ester (CLMA) scaffolds. This biomaterial does not need additional modifications for cASCs attachment and proliferation. Here we propose a framework based on a combination of approaches that may contribute to increase the therapeutical capability of stem cells by the use of PRGF and compatible biomaterials for bone and connective tissue regeneration.

Abstract: neuropsychology is the discipline that studies the mind-brain-behavior relationship through the analysis of the brain structure and brain processes supporting superior psychological functions such as consciousness, attention, learning, memory, thought, motivation and affection. neuropsychological disturbances on bipolar disorder patients have been poorly studied when compared to other psychiatric disorders like schizophrenia. however, increasing interest has developed due to it’s implications on the etiology, treatment, prevention, prognosis, adjustment predictors, social competence and quality of life of such patients. this article intends to review the research published relating bipolar disorder with neuropsychological abnormalities up to date. a review of research on different phases was done, including mania, depression or euthymia; comparative studies with schizophrenic patients and the likely influence of psychotropic medication are also discussed.
Intensive Case Study Methodology for the Analysis of Self-Help Housing Consolidation, Household Organization and Family Mobility  [PDF]
Peter M. Ward, Edith R. Jiménez Huerta, María Mercedes Di Virgilio
Current Urban Studies (CUS) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/cus.2014.22010
Abstract:

The paper describes an innovative methodology developed as part of a major “mixed methods” collaborative and multidisciplinary research project across several Latin American cities. It offers a systematic “hands-on” methodology about how to conduct multi-disciplinary and team-based intensive case studies of low-income household dynamics and trajectories in self-help dwelling structures in (now) consolidated low-income settlements of Latin America. The research project describes how to collect information about family genealogies, household organization and individual member mobility, tied to materials that allow for the construction of detailed housing plans and architectonic diagrams resulting from self-building in informal settlements over a thirty-year period. The majority of the original “owner” self-builders still reside in these (now) consolidated properties, and the methodology provides for cross generational analysis of household behavior in relation to the dynamics of dwelling construction and use of space, household organization, inheritance and heirship.

García Jiménez, Leonarda;
Andamios , 2008,
Abstract: social sciences haven't had the same development as natural sciences. this is due to two reasons: first, social sciences haven't accumulated knowledge in the same proportion as natural sciences; second, there is no clear agreement about the definition of science. therefore, the intention of this article is to elaborate an approximation to the concept of science, based on the ideas of popper, kuhn, lakatos and feyerabend.
Economic Analysis Working Papers , 2008,
Gladius , 2006, DOI: 10.3989/gladius.2006.2
Abstract: In this article the antennae sword type Echauri/Quesada II will be analysed starting from a detailed and compared revision of some known pieces. Their morfotecnical study and incorporation of unedited examples or examples that have not been studied in depth, will give us some clues about its relationship of origin with the aquitaine focal point and will enable us to distinguish four differentiated groups within this type. Attention will be paid to the form of the blades, antennae, guards and decorative elements, however it will be the long whole scabbard of these swords that will carry the fundamental weight of the classification.
