Tránsito y paisaje en la puna de Jujuy durante los desarrollos regionales: una aproximación iconográfica

Abstract: this work sets out to accede to the knowledge of the landscape of the puna de jujuy's northern sector during the desarrollos regionales' period, through the iconographyc's analysis of the objects of the hallucinogenic complex. understanding the archaeological register, like the socio-cultural product of past towns, framed in a landscape that contains and means it, the study of the material culture was made from the proposals of the archaeology of the landscape. we worked on the transit concept, examining the relation which the archaeological objects keep with the movement, that somehow it reflects an interrelation with its immediate surroundings. it was come to the analysis of the materials, from the iconography's method and from a semiotic's perspective; later, the materials were related to their regional surroundings: sites of the quebrada de humahuaca and the north of chile. an interesting iconographyc's correlation was observed, that put in evidence the capacity which certain images had to journey puna and to move between both slopes of the andes; this allowed to bring data to the discussion on the movement of material goods and ideas, during the desarrollos regionales' period.
TIC y el aprendizaje basado en problemas como agentes significativos en el desarrollo de competencias

Abstract: introduction: today's world demands professionals who are capable of self-learning, generating and interchanging knowledge collabarating through virtual spaces. nursing professionals are not concerned? about this demand. objective: identify the abilities that the nursing students could obtain through independant work in a learning environment. which makes use of digital educational material, based on problems about computer networks. method: 22 nursing students from universidad de la sabana which are studying the subject, "telemática" throughout the second semester of 2007. they turned to the subject in question, now that they are allowed to see the learning environment from all sides. they also understand internships and imaginativeness of the actors who intervene. moreover thier relationships, strains and transformations. results: 27% of the students exceeded the expected levels in the development of the given abilities. 63% reached the expected levels and only 14% reached the minumun level. these achievments were related with factors such as interchanging of knowledge, in pairs, outlines of thier own thoughts, the student's availablilty and attitude as the main person in the learning process. currently, we found that the students developed other ways of learning that were not given. conclusion: the environment helps to develop abilities in students, if it stimulates the process of sharing with peers.

Abstract: La gastritis es una inflamación del revestimiento de la mucosa gástrica en respuesta a una lesión. Puede ser aguda, crónica o mixta y estar asociada con metaplasia intestinal y atrofia. Los factores etiológicos son múltiples y varían desde irritantes, químicos, inmunológicos y genéticos, hasta infecciosos; dentro de estos últimos se destaca el bacilo Helicobacter pylori como el agente causal más común. Objetivo: Caracterizar los hallazgos histológicos de la gastritis crónica en ni os de 1 a 16 a os de edad internados en el Hospital Infantil de San José, durante el período comprendido entre septiembre de 2008 a septiembre de 2010. Materiales y métodos: Se realizó un estudio observacional descriptivo, de corte transversal. La información se obtuvo de los reportes de biopsias gástricas de ni os entre 1 a 16 a os de edad, evaluados en el Hospital Infantil de San José entre septiembre de 2008 y septiembre de 2010. Resultados: Se revisaron 826 reportes de biopsias gástricas de ni os con gastritis crónica, y se pudo observar que el 59,2% de la muestra eran ni as y el promedio de edad fue de 9 a os. El Helicobacter pylori estuvo presente en el 58,96% de la población, la atrofia gástrica en el 0,7% y la metaplasia intestinal en el 1%. Se identificó que la presencia de este microorganismo estuvo relacionada con el grado de inflamación crónica y el grado de actividad neutrofílica polimorfonuclear. Conclusiones: La infección por Helicobacter pylori es frecuente en la gastritis crónica en la infancia y su presencia se relaciona con el grado de inflamación crónica y de actividad neutrofílica polimorfonuclear Gastritis is an inflammation of the lining of the gastric mucosa which occurs in response to an injury. It can be acute, chronic or mixed, and it can be associated with intestinal metaplasia and atrophy. There are multiple etiologic factors including irritation, chemical, immunological, genetic and infectious factors. Among the latter, Helicobacter pylori is the most common causative agent. Objective: The objective of this study was to characterize histologic findings of chronic gastritis in children aged 1-16 years at the Hospital Infantil de San José from September 2008 to September 2010. Materials and methods: This was an observational and descriptive cross sectional study. Information was obtained from gastric biopsy reports from children between 1 and 16 years of age who had been evaluated at the Hospital Infantil de San José from September 2008 to September 2010. Abstract: Introducción: el mundo de hoy exige profesionales que sean capaces de autoaprender, generar e intercambiar conocimiento en colaboración a través de espacios virtuales, y los profesionales de Enfermería no están ajenos a esta exigencia. Objetivo: identificar las competencias que alcanzan los estudiantes de Enfermería a través del trabajo independiente en un ambiente de aprendizaje que hace uso de un material educativo digital basado en problemas, sobre redes de computadores. Método: participaron 22 estudiantes de Enfermería de la Universidad de La Sabana, que cursaron la materia Telemática durante el segundo semestre de 2007. Se recurrió al estudio de caso, ya que permite ver un ambiente de aprendizaje desde todas sus aristas, así como comprender las prácticas e imaginarios de los actores que intervienen, sus relaciones, tensiones y transformaciones. Resultados: el 27% de los estudiantes superaron los niveles esperados en el desarrollo de las competencias planteadas, el 63% alcanzó los niveles esperados y el 14% sólo llegó a los niveles mínimos. Estos logros estuvieron relacionados con factores como el intercambio de saberes con pares, los esquemas de pensamiento propios, la disposición y la actitud del estudiante como protagonista del proceso de aprendizaje. Adicionalmente, se encontró que los estudiantes desarrollaron otros aprendizajes que no estaban planteados. Conclusión: el ambiente elaborado contribuye al desarrollo de competencias en los estudiantes, siempre y cuando se estimulé el proceso de intercambio con pares. Abstract: this article offers an analysis of a research project designed to identify the computer network competence acquired by students through independent work in a learning environment (le) that makes use of problem-based, digital educational material. twenty-two (22) nursing students who were enrolled in a telematics course at the universidad de la sabana during the second half of 2007 participated in the study. a case-study methodology was used, as it permits an overview of all the problems in a le and facilitates an understanding of the practices and concepts of those who take part, their relations, tensions and transformations. twenty-seven percent (27%) of the students surpassed the expected levels of development in terms of the proposed competence, 63% achieved the expected levels, and only 14% reached the minimum levels. these accomplishments were related to the methods each pair developed to solve the case studies and to factors such as an exchange of knowledge with peers, individual ways of thinking, and each student’s willingness and attitude.

Abstract: this investigation was conduced in los comuneros racetrack, in guarne ( antioquia, colombia ). six pure english racing horses, that run the 1100 m competence, were selected to evaluate in each one the change in the serum concentrations of cortisol and testosterone before and after a high intensity exercise. spectrophotometry and quimioluminiscence were used to determine the concentration of those substances. the results showed that cortisol and testosterone average concentrations before competence were 8,76 ug/dl and 47,9 ng/dl respectively; after the exercise the results were 12,75 ug/dl for cortisol and 26,55 ng/dl for testosterone. the t test for paired samples was applied to analyze the obtained data. it was determined a significant difference (p<0,05) between cortisol serum concentration before and after competence, but not for testosterone.

Abstract: a few qualitative studies provide information about the integration of information and communication technologies (tic) into higher education. this article corresponds to one of the 17 case studies carried out in a research to know about this phenomenon more deeply and to identify the learning process of the students who participated in it. the data was collected from nonparticipant class observations to the classes in an academic semester, semi-structured interviews to the teacher and interviews and targeted groups with students. additionally the works of the students were analyzed with the support of tic's. the data was analyzed with common deductive and inductive categories that were common to all the cases and was finally contextualized. the case described in this article talks about the learning environment constructed by 16 students and their professor, where she coherently integrated the tic with her pedagogical strategy but did not add value to the learning process. the description presents behavior patterns, conceptions and pedagogical practices that other teachers can use as elements to make decisions about how to design their learning environments with tic and to motivate them to reflect on their own pedagogical practices.

Abstract: Este artículo analiza diversas cuestiones relacionadas con la organización de los recursos y de los centros de Educación Secundaria en la Comunidad Autónoma de la Región de Murcia en Programas de atención a la diversidad del alumnado en riesgo de exclusión social-educativa y, más concretamente, nos centraremos en la figura del profesor como elemento clave en el dise o y la puesta en marcha de los mismos. Con esto objeto se presenta la opinión de 85 docentes de Institutos de Educación Secundaria pertenecientes a 18 centros repartidos por toda la región y algunas reflexiones entorno a los hallazgos más importantes.

Abstract: Se seleccionaron seis (6) caballos adultos de la raza Pura Sangre Inglés (PSI) que compiten en carreras de 1100 m en el hipódromo Los Comuneros, del municipio de Guarne al oriente de Medellín (Antioquia, Colombia). A cada animal se le midieron las concentraciones de testosterona total y cortisol antes y después de la competencia con el fin de evaluar el cambio producido en éstas debido al estrés. Se utilizaron para tal efecto los métodos de espectrofotometría para la testosterona y de quimioluminiscencia para el cortisol. Los resultados muestran que los valores promedio de cortisol y testosterona antes de la competencia fueron 47,9 ng/dl y 8,76 ug/dl respectivamente; después de la competencia los promedios fueron 12,75 ug/dl para el cortisol y 26,55 ng/dl para la testosterona . A los resultados obtenidos se les aplicó la prueba de T de muestras pareadas, por medio de la cual se determinó que hay diferencia significativa en los niveles de cortisol antes y después de la competencia (P<0,05), no así para la testosterona.
